Frequently Asked Questions - Q. Is this mainly aimed at those in the IM world, or is it also relevant for those interested in the analysis of competitors selling physical products? A. you can use this information for that purpose. But the main thrust of this product is primarily aimed at people who want to learn about internet business (any niche) and offers them alternative and uncommon ways of doing that, by going out and examining what's out there on the internet, as opposed to learning through second-hand information (EG buying 'make money' products, reading forums in an unfocussed manner). Therefore some of the sections in the report (EG the section on researching individuals on forums) may not be entirely relevant to the analysis of competitors selling physical products. On the other hand, if you are interested in taking the URL of one of your competitor's websites in order to see if you can locate more of their websites, there are some sections that will point you to the resources to do this and show you the best way to use those resources. This part of the salespage kind of sums up what this product is all about, the primary focus, if you will - Quote:

Roger with a WSO? hmmm...GOT MY COPY! Being able to gather intelligence about what your SUCCESSFUL COMPETITORS and your PERSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS are doing is PRICELESS in this business, so if this report gives me even ONE solid piece of information it will be worth many times more than I paid for it. I was seriously surprised to see that EXRAT (Roger) had posted a WSO..I don't think he ever has before, and if you search his name on the forum, you'll see pretty quickly that he's about as straight up as they come, and not someone spewing nonsense for the sake of selling a couple copies of a WSO. |

| I'm sure Roger will answer, but from a "customers" stand point - I'd say this information could and can be used in just about any niche you can think of.

Roger, You've finally decided to break your duck and tell us something about how you developed your Forum smarts ![]() Half of these resources I already knew about, but learning about the systematic and intelligent way you approach them (and the others that are new to me) makes this stand out from the bog standard WSO. I'm off to reverse engineer your websites!!! ![]() Martin P.S. You forgot to put in an upsell, downsell and a forced signup to your list. |

Well, I bought this report and I have mixed feelings about it. On the good side, it definitely offers links to resources which, if used correctly, can give you major insights into your competitors. While I was familiar with a lot of these resources, there were definitely links to new ones which will be interesting to try out. On the less good side, I did feel that the "how" was missing from much of the report. You'll gather information, sure, but the nitty gritty details of which information is really important, and especially how to interpret that information and really put it to use, is a bit thin. More examples and specifics would help in that regard. So I'm left with the feeling that, while this is an important topic, this report just feels incomplete in some places. Is it worth the money I paid? I judge by whether or not I'll make my money back and then some. On that score, yes, there is enough here to make it worth the read but on the whole I was a little disappointed. Sorry to have to write that, but when I review, I need to tell it as I see it. Others may differ. Debbie |

Hi DebbieB, Thankyou very much for the feedback. I will be examining all feedback with a view to updating the product, or adding a follow up with some case studies/more of the 'how'/specifics in the next few days. Of course I will send this out to anyone who has already purchased. |

Hi, After analysing the feedback from yesterdays launch, I have now updated this product. With some of the material removed/rewritten, it has jumped from 56 to 69 pages with the extra content added. Around 30% of the existing content has been re-written. I hope that any of you who may have been on the fence about this will now dive in and give it a try. If you have already purchased then you should have received an email which I sent five minutes ago, explaining exactly where in the product the updated material is and where you can download the updated version. |

This information is a must have. Discovering for yourself what the winners in your market would rather keep quiet can have the BIGGEST impact on your business. This is a good guide to reference for anyone who really wants to get serious about their niche. |

IM, like any other "job" can be executed mainly in two ways: - imitating certain motions in an automated way (like the worker at the assembly line) or - having a good understanding of the whole process and using your brain to make it the most effective Now, I don't know Roger (ExRat) personally, never interacted with him... but I have learned to pay attention to his posts in this forum. Why? Because of his brilliant analytical skills and his ability to convey his rational, intellectual thoughts in an exceptionally clear manner. (Confession: I have a soft spot for people whose way of thinking reveals a logical, rational approach - as opposed to emotional outbursts...) So I bought the report as soon as I discovered the link to it. Even if you knew some of the resources and/or the techniques presented in this "spy manual" - it's a great read and very useful (if applied) to organize the 'spying process' in a very effective way. Yes, it gives you step by step instructions how to do the technical part, so even the less experienced users can benefit a lot. However, the more intriguing part is the author's invitation to use your brain and explore even more possibilities by building on what you just read. He even says so: Quote:
![]() As business people in the information industry (i.e. working with information to influence people's behaviour) it is a definite asset if we do some thinking while building our strategies. I enjoyed the report and recommend to anybody that takes seriously their online business. Disclaimer: I didn't get a review copy and I wasn't asked to do this review. | |

Hi, It's become apparent to me today (20th October) that the email sent out to buyers on the 18th October announcing the product update may not have arrived until today, if at all. Please accept my sincere apologies for this. If you are a buyer and haven't received the updated product, please either check your email client for the update email (sent again today) or simply download from your original purchase email. You can tell if you have the latest version because the updated product has a new chapter called 'Questions To Ask Ourselves' on page 37 - (you can see this in the table of contents on page 2.) I've also rewritten many parts and added an extra 13 pages in total. Thanks! |

I started following Roger's posts probably around the beginning of this year. Now, I would say compile those posts, and you'd probably have a best-selling ebook.... so this has to be worth getting! _____ Bruce NewMedia |

Hi Bruce, Thanks a lot for your kind words, they're much appreciated. It sounds like you've been doing some of what I recommend in my product - turning the tables on ExRat, eh? |

Roger was one of the first people I spoke to when I arrived and happily sat on Skype, without knowing me from Adam, for over an hour, at no cost, to help me with a small problem, namely my technical incompetence. I didn't even read the WSO thread. No point. It's a product from one of the brightest minds I know. Why would I read it? So I've bought it, no idea what it's about, just going to read through it now. I tell you this though, it'll be good. |

Hi Rod/Richard, Thanks fellas. A lot of trust and confidence being shown in me here, which is much appreciated. To everyone - please come back and let me (and everyone) know what you think of it after you've been through the product - whether it's good or bad feedback - I can take it ![]() For the record, if anyone leaves feedback in the thread, it only gets used as a testimonial here or anywhere else by me (for example, like the ones I have added to the original post) ONCE I have gained your specific permission to do so. Thanks again. |

Great primer. ExRat's the kind of guy I'm thinking about when I'm trying to hide my sites. Also, great content on the psychology of CI. Learned some great ideas from that on how to better approach the whole process more effectively/efficiently. |

If I was to teach - this is how I'd teach. If you want to get a real education on money making, give Exrat a whirl.. Just from reading the copy I already know this is a gem.
