I'm a pretty reasonable guy but when you ignore both of my posts on purpose, i get to feel that you don't want to answer for a reason.

As far as the posts generated by your plugin are concerned, does the plugin have a way to make it seem like these posts are coming from different IP addresses? I would think that would be crucial to keep Google happy.

Hi, i did a mistake and uploaded the comments before I had the links in. Now they are all scheduled and I don't know how I can delete them before the get published as they are wrong..... It has only the main url from the same block where I have this plugin installed. Grrrrh.. help please

you should just be able to delete the scheduled comments from the comments tab

Hi Derek, just bought the Comment Ninja but I can't get to the download page.

Every time I fill in my email name for the customer update list, and click the button ... I get a 404.

Can you please help?

my first issue is when i try to upload the comments TXT my screen goes blank on my WP and returns to the menu page. Am i doing something wrong? When i return to upload section in comment ninja its not showing as uploaded! how do i check?

I really like what this plug in does. Just getting it set up right now but I'm assuming it will do it's job. I do have a question. Say I install the plug in on all my blogs. I then add my list of blog posts that I want the comments to have links from. Should I use the same list of blog posts over again each time I install the plug in on another blog. Or should the blog posts be on only one blog?

all comments are posted from the same IP address
to your support desk.

I could be wrong here, but I would take it from the fact
that you didnt answer it here that the answer is... yes,
they all come from the same IP address.

If so, my next question would be: Does that matter?

Seems a great idea but looking forward to an answer to, "Does it post from different IP addresses or all from the same IP?" If the same IP, surely that is a massive Google footprint?

Another big issue for me is a "bad words" list. A similar plugin I purchased recently stripped all the bad words out - any plans to add a filter for p*nis, sh*t etc? I want extra links, but not at any cost.

Long time lurker, first WF post. Love this idea and bought the product. Two things that would make it great:

1. strip the names from spam comments too (e.g. stripping "iphone 4S cases" and making it "Mary Poppins").
2. Making it frinedly with Pingbacks for those of us that use pingbacks to create RSS feeds to get articles indexed. .

Love this though, it's great. I have one particular site that is getting beat because of lack of comments.

Edit: Derek, you rock. Love the update and now it is perfect. =)

sitywyde, just login to cPanel and go to phpMyadmin, locate the database and the table comments, then delete comments carefully, select the one you want to delete, or simply delete all.

If in your blog you had no comments before, simply clear the table comments and you are fine (DON'T delete the table).

Hope what I wanted to tell you its clear, my english isn't my strong language ^__^

Gary, I would hesitate to use it if they are all coming from the same IP address. You might look like a spammer to Google. I would hope you could use different proxies on this plugin.

How is Google going to know the IP address of where the comments are coming from? Google would have to have access to your server logs..

To delete all comments this worked great for me.

Load up PhpMyAdmin and in the SQL box paste the following

DELETE FROM `wp_comments` WHERE `comment_author_IP` = '127.0.0.1'

and

DELETE FROM `wp_commentmeta` WHERE `meta_key` = 'comment_ninja_made'

Got them all removed safe and sound.

I would highly suggest anyone that bought this, wait till derick gets it all figured out. The oddest things were happening with this...

I deleted a few comments, by placing them in the trash..and they came back to life!...Then I marked them as spam,...and again they came back to life...

They just never died, and I hate not being in control!
Im sure Derrick will figure this out, but for now... Im NOT placing this on my Moneysite...and holding off on the others as well.

I'm sure it will work well, but after some ironing out has happened.
