Nope, no problems whatsoever...in fact I am running several on Hostgator right now..as well as Bluehost.com and Hostmonster.com

It is very easy on the CPU and memory, so there shouldn't be a problem with any modern hosting provider.

could the thread owners speak to this point? I have Hostgator, and have never had problems with scripts bought on the WF, but I suppose there is always a first time. Would you be able to confirm that other customers on Hostgator are doing fine (or not)?

Yes, a paid membership does help, however many of the redirect services out there allow you to fill out the redirect form with no membership whatsoever, so that is where 99% of the trouble comes from as there is no accountability as spammers randomly get redirects at will.

Having even a free membership will cut out most spammers and the fact that we use CAPTCHA to sign up for the membership curbs that even more since most spammers don't want to deal with signing up for a membership, much less fill out a CAPTCHA.

Having said all of that, we still have an option if you want to have an open redirect form on the front page with no membership required. The choice is up to the individual site owner, but it comes turned off standard.

No, what that is referring to is trying to change the name of the product from Instant Affiliate Magnet Software into something else. If someone asks you what software you are running on your server (if you plan to sell it), you are to use the name Instant Affiliate Magnet...that's all.

You can name your site anything you like.

Yes, you can use Aweber or any other autoresponder you prefer to gather email signups. You can also export them from the internal database for other purposes.

Yes, you can alter the core sites templates as they are all in a standard .TPL format and not encrypted. In fact, you can modify just about every aspect of the design/look/feel of this script.

Yes...you can make it totally private by simply installing into a folder that only you know about, disable the front end, create 1 user and you are good to go.

I have been using one of these for years as my own private URL redirect.
