Is this newbie friendly?

Can I customize my blog?

Do I have to use your hosting plan?

Our service is setup to build you blog on our servers. Your hosting is free for life but if you want to move your hosting to your own server after we have set everything up, you are free to do so.

What about the hosting, does each blog get it's own IP?

No they do not. The need a unique IP for each domain is an SEO myth.

1. It only is necessary when you plan to interlink domains and make them look like they are all owned by third parties (which gets you slapped eventually). We are NOT doing this.

2. There aren't enough IP's to cover all the domains. The IPv4 space is running out of IP's and it's actually bad if you are using 1 per domain as the rules for IP use specify 1 per server.

3. Google has said that they don't treat virtual IP's and unique any differently. Read the quote below from Google's Director of Technology

"Actually, Google handles virtually hosted domains and their links just the same as domains on unique IP addresses. If your ISP does virtual hosting correctly, you'll never see a difference between the two cases. We do see a small percentage of ISPs every month that misconfigure their virtual hosting, which might account for this persistent misperception--thanks for giving me the chance to dispel a myth!"

I designed this myyself and put WAY too many hours into it but I am so glad to read comments like this.

I am working on a few more in other niches using traditional copy. I have thought of selling the templates and likely will when I have a better collection.

1. it's a drip fed blog using unique sets of content created by or licensed to us. It's not like a blog that rips content from other sites.

2. It's on a dedicated server. Bandwidth is not an issue and when the sites get busy we will scale as needed since it means we are all making money.

3. You have access to the admin of your wordpress, so you can add google analytics etc.
