Link building is my least favorite part of marketing online, and believe me, I've done it all. I keep doing it because, like everyone else here, I know it's an essential part of the formula to get good search engine rankings.

Great idea, awesome plugin! One thing it's missing is documentation. The video gives a nice overview for using it, but doesn't show you how to change things like using posts instead of pages for your download/failure pages.

This is crucial if you have a blog template that shows all pages as menu entries.

Using a post for the offer is simple, as the file cabinet icon with your promotions appears in the editor for pages and posts.

Since the download and failure pages are tied to the page id, that's a little more difficult. I'd recommend using a teeny little plugin called 'Exclude Pages' to add a checkbox to the page editor that'll let you remove pages from your menu.

What might also work is ptopconverter, which converts pages to posts, and posts to pages, without losing the guid.

It should be possible to include twitter and facebook, as long as the facebook link is public. I'll do some research and add it to the wish list for the next update.

Thanks, Wendy. I tried a couple of converters and neither keeps the post ID, but Exclude Pages works fine.

Not sure if this will help you out, but someone else asked, so I figured I'd leave some feedback on this. This appears to work with anything that leaves a non-dynamic URL, so you can use it on a LOT of stuff.

I've tested it successfully with: Facebook (public), Twitter, Digg, StumbleUpon, Google+ (getting the URL for a post is complicated, though), and Reddit. I'm sure it works with just about everything else that creates a follow-able link.

Thanks! I haven't tried it with facebook, but you're right, the plugin will work as long as it can find your site's link on the submitted page.

Its pretty ironic that I ran into your wso, haven't been around too much myself and just the other day I was going through an old puter and ran across "conversionary".... and now I stumble on rewardingposts Maybe that's a good sign!!!
