I've considered that in the past, but I don't think it will ever happen.

That's a good business model for sites that expect members to cancel within the average 3 to 4 month time frame, but our members don't do that. Many have been paying members since we started in May 2007.

Since at some point there will have to be a membership cap because of the time involved in supporting the site, if we reached the cap, and most were on a lifetime membership, my income would stop dead.

Plus, it wouldn't be fair to those that have already paid for 15 months to offer lifetime memberships to new members at a rate less than those people have paid already.

There was an old thread in the old forum comparing the two sites, which I managed to find:

I'm a member of Wealthy Affiliate, so I do know a little about it, in my opinion it's great especially for Bum Marketers and for those wanting to learn a little or a lot about AdWords.

At Earn1KaDay.com we have sections for both those business models, and 9 more besides, my original strategy came from my 5 Bucks a Day eBook which stresses setting short to medium term goals, developing a big list of short term projects that will make you $5 a day recurring income, focusing like the devil and hopefully completing each project in a week, and then doing the same thing next week.

So having multiple business models, allowing you to diversify your income, always made sense to me.

We do now offer lifetime memberships, but only offer them to current members, because since it does not come with a guarantee (in other words, no refunds), I want to be sure that you're well aware of what we're all about and satisfied.
