1. Is it Desktop Based, Will it Work on Max etc.

Backlinks need to be indexed (and managed) in order to count towards your rankings.

Having a backlink indexed means that it's gone into the Google directory of links, which is a BIG decision-making factor in determining where your site will show up when someone punches in the keyword you're after.

The Sad Truth

No matter how many backlinks we buy/build/get done for us, only a very small percentage of them will be counted by Google. Why? Because these backlinks are floating in limbo and highly depend on the "spiders" to "crawl" the site that your backlink is on, and that is highly dependent on the traffic the site gets (and finding out how to get to these is also another challenge we face).

In terms of percentage, around 15% of all your backlinks will be indexed and that's what your site will be ranked on. Only 15% of what you invest will count.

PLUS, if you try and get ALL of those backlinks indexed at once, you're highly prone to lose out on more than just a couple of spots in the Google standings.

The Fix

High PR Authority Sites RSS Feeds for your backlinks.

RSS Feeds from High PR Sites give your backlinks the necessary crawled pages Google's spiders trust the most, and create the right type of backlinks for your backlinks, effectively passing down the PR power onto your Main Site.

The above has ALL the elements that your SEO strategy should follow. But it takes time, manpower and money to get the second half of the equation done...

Get QUALITY Backlinks to your Main Site, then create HIGH PR Backlinks for those backlinks. That's how you make the stable, quick and high ranking spots.

Web based. Well its mostly an automated thing so there's very little time involved.

To set-up the auto backlinks to backlinks you need to setup some accounts on about 20 third party sites (such as twitter). So however, long that takes you.

1. I am from Hungary. I have blogs on free blog sites. I mean the domain is the blog.hu domain, my blog is at myblog.blog.hu subdomain. Does your software works with these kind of blogs sitting on free subdomains as well?

2. Does the number of link limit means I can change invalid links and put new links into the software instead of them? Or if links are given, can I not change and they stay in the software forever even if they are invalid or not live?

No LinkClaw has nothing to do with social bookmarking. However, if you have a list of social bookmarks (such as from the DTA software) you can use LinkClaw to verify and boost those backlinks.

They do WAY LESS than LinkClaw, and charge $89/mo to monitor the same amount of links as our Elite Developer license.

Yes you could delete one campaign and put in a new one. You can have as many campaigns you like as long as you are within the link limit. That's 100,000 on the Elite license.

I'm not 100% familiar with his product, but from what I've seen LinkClaw is massively superior for the following reasons...

Cossacks is worse because...

- its self hosted, and if you have 10000 backlinks its going to strain your server
- its wordpress only - mine is for any site
- mine drips the RSS Feed and produces much better RSS Feeds that will maximize syndication. So probably 95% better results
- mine produces feeds only for valid backlinks
- mine also monitors your backlinks to tell you which are nofollow or invalid, so you can check the results of your link campaigns
- mine has auto-discover of backlinks, so you can get started without a list of your backlinks to hand.
- The LinkClaw interface is slick!

I like what Cossack puts out, and I've promoted his other products in the past. But LinkClaw trumps what he put out in this case.

Also, I am on Mac. Is this Mac friendly?

Its a web browser app, so it works in your browser on any OS.

Yes you will need to set up some social profiles first. So however long it takes for you to sign up to about 20 sites and set up a profile.

No it has nothing to do with social bookmarking. However, if you have a list of social bookmarks you can use LinkClaw to verify and boost those backlinks.

You have your own account at LinkClaw.com, and that is your account. You can pass it along when selling a website, but the account can only ever be held by one person.

You can of course put as many of your clients sites into the system with the developer license.

The backlink discovery features should be active on all accounts. If it isn't right now it will be shortly.

You can upgrade to LinkClaw Mega ONLY if you bought an Elite license (as the payment for the Elite license is taken off the price), and you should do it when the offer comes up. It is a one time offer.
