I'm not aware of Pete's RSS technique. There is one paragraph on RSS but that is, so I cant see the reports being similar. This technique has a lot more to do with getting around Google restrictions and getting indexed using onpage.

Hi Dan, I'm not sure I understand you, but the reason that is there is that it is part of the report. A few of the techniques I detail for SEO are used in a very bad way by corrupt domain flippers. Its not a huge part of the report but it is part of it so thats why its included.

People shouldn't be expecting this report to be about domian flipping it's not - but some of the more scary SEO tactics were developed and twisted by domain flippers. This report is about SEO, which can be used for pretty much whatever.

The only question remains what was your intention with that report. Did you want to show what can be done with the information you sell, once you cross the border? Will it be taken as a manual to do so, by some? That is a little confusing to me....

Anyways, I have a different question:

- Can this information be applied to 1) local offline markets 2) in non-English speaking countries as well? If the tactics and resources are not language-dependent and are equally working to optimize the presence of offline companies, then this is something I should consider.

Hi Dan,

It doesn't actually deal with how people fake page ranks.Its more an SEO related technique - that peope can and do get banned for. I might include that in an update, but this isn't intended as a manual on how to cross the border, more how to come up against it.

Some people such as Mr Z my competitor go past the line occasionally - I explain why they do this, and how and why it is a bad idea.

This is a very small part of a 40 page report - most of the report deals with what you can do without getting in trouble.

It can certainly be applied to any language or country. As for it working for offline companies - it will only work if they have a website / online presence. As long as you can edit the webpage, and its not fixed, then you should be able to use almost everything in the report on the vast majority of websites.
