Looks like a good plugin will add it to my collection. Just one quick question I live in Melbourne and my business is located out of melbourne in one of the suburbs. I have been trying to rank for the term ( Mybusiness Melbourne ) for over a year but I am stuck on the second page. I have a great Places listing lots of citations some customer reviews photos and Videos added. My website is optimised but no mater what I do cant crack the seven pack. Can this plugin help ? Many Thanks |

OK, so I played with it a bit and installed the plugin on a client's website - that was so easy to fill in the address and click the button! I can say that I knew I need KML files and geositemap but always avoided doing one... Now I have no excuse since it is soooo easy with this plugin! Thanks Darren and Brian for making my life easier for less than $10! This is a no-brainer! |

I would really like to use this plugin. I noticed you added Poland and Singapore. Are there any plans to add The Netherlands to the list? If the answer is yes, I'm in! Gerber |

Great plugin - bought it this morning. One question - I'd like to use this with the local page ninja plugin. Can the widget be tied to individual pages so if one page Speed Dating in London would produce the widget on the page to reflect that, and another saying speed dating in Manchester, etc? I suspect I know the answer but thought I'd ask |

At the moment this isn't possible but it might be a nice add-on feature. I'm going to send this idea to one of my developers to see how possible this might be. Darren Quote:

| Hey taccomc Google does not do a places page for a business location unless the business has a physical presence in that city. It's been suggested that the business obtain a local presence by using an "office suite or Executive suite" in that city. That gives the business a legitimate presence. Also NOT recommended to use a Mail Boxes location because Google may not allow those in the future. If you are trying to optimize for a places page you have to have a separate places page for each city. However, if you are not talking about a "Places Page" then I don't know the answer so you should look to the answer from the seller of the plugin Leslie |

Darren, I purchased and watched the video. Guess what I found out - I had installed an Hcard on a client's site but it is not correct. I coded it myself and it's on the site but I didn't know to include the Geo Site Map into the Hcard and so my efforts are "incomplete". Can't wait to install because this plugin not only will make it easier than doing the coding, but it will be correct. Thanks Leslie |

| Darren - had 2nd thoughts on hitting your buy button having already bought the Zen Master WSO, but since Brian is co-wso on this deal and since your price point is ridiculously affordable considering that with each install, this plug-in will save me a bunch of time, it was an easy paypal click/click. Watched your video, read the PDF and the one question I have is what makes for a "best-practices" routine on populating the description box? You kinda gleaned over this part a wee bit in your video tutorial. Is this a K.I.S.S. deal or is adding 5x categories w/ H1-2-3 tags advisable? |

By the way - this plugin is only for local geolocation purpose. So, if your business is local and your website is local business based then you can try. its really good. |

I think most people will simply add a brief description of a business... For example: "This is the location for Darren Jackson. My company specializes in Wordpress development and project management. There is no better company to call if you need a website or custom work with Wordpress. Phone: 555-555-5555" this would be the most basic... You can add basic HTML including adding links, logos, H tages, etc. If you look at the Google's reference page it goes into much more detail... This plugin can handle both scenarios of the description... Easy descriptions like the one above and more advanced HTML versions. Have a look at the Google Page for more info: KML Tutorial - KML - Google Code Hope this helps! Darren Quote:

What a super time saving this plugin is! It came with a very clear install and set up guide in PDF format with screen shots. Very easy to install and easy to configure just as the PDF had indicated, no surprises and nothing missing! Job done in under 15 minutes including reading the PDF. For anyone in or working with local businesses this is a must have item for your WordPress toolbox. Thank you from us here in France! ![]() Ps If you add any more countries to the list as mentioned above please would you consider adding Ireland and Belgium? |

Hi Darren & Brian, Maybe this is the first stupid question? I read about the 7 spots for local business with a google map, if this is google places do you have a link to a google places guide book? (As this is a complete mystery to me at present!) I see you have added Poland to the list (Where I live now) and I have built a site for a local garage (Auto Serwis Czluchow )which is in the spot immediately below the 7 map places on page 1 (Or it was the last time I looked!)so what else do I need to know after buying your plugin? to get my client higher on page 1 of google? The directory sites tend to be favoured by google but they are just listings with minimal content... Hope you can advise PS: I have enjoyed reading all through this thread-very positive and refreshing! |

Hi Dean... You could still use the plugin but you would have to move the locations.kml and geositemap.xml to the root directory. Also, if you wanted to use the hCard in the HTML you could simply grab the code using the FF Firebug plugin (Or something like it) and paste it in the code.. It's a little more work but probably worth it. Hope this helps... Darren |

You can purchase my Google Places Cheat Sheet or perhaps Russ Hayes Zen Master Course. They are both great. If you are patient, and most of us are not -- I am very shortly going to release a completely updated Google Places Course along with my colleage Mario Brown. It will be out within 7-10 days and will be that most up-to-date strategy on Google Places on the market. Thanks again, Brian | |

This is an absolute steal of a WSO! I did some research on KML a while back and finally ran out of time without getting anything done - now I can whip these out in no time! Plus the widget fits the location right into my sidebar and provides an internal link back to the home page from every post. Great stuff guys - thanks! Bruce |

Very cool. Fast, easy and simple install. I was doing this manually (at least I thought I was!), but this plug in does it correctly and I save an hour each time I use it. I'm adding to all my clients sites who have WP. Thanks!

Love the plugin! Just starting some "local" sites so this is very valuable. I have one request...in addition to the widget, could you add a "shortcode" for inclusion of the info on a site. The theme I am using does not have a good footer location for me to include this as a widget - a shortcode may solve my problem. |

Hey Bro, quick question.. About The sitemap that is created. I opened up the file.. and for the <loc> section... I have this... http://www.myclientsite.com/download?format=kml Now when I go to that URL (http://www.myclientsite.com/download?format=kml), it is an invalid page on wordpress. Curious.. is this suppose to be like that? Because I'm thinking Google won't be able to read a location if that URL for <loc> isn't pointing anywhere.. |
