My biggest issue with cold walk-in is that, in my experience, the owner isn't on the premises and/or too busy with customers. VA Mobile will save me a lot of time by pre-qualifying my target market.

Am I mailing the exact email provided? No, I modified each of the emails slightly.

What am I selling these customers? I am offering Google Places listings with upsells for video marketing, custom local websites (WordPress blogs of course) and lead capture with autoresponder follow-up.

The part that has amazed me is that using these videos has allowed me to cut right to the chase when I am speaking with the prospects via telephone because they are calling me to get their questions answered.

Several of these prospects had already been approached by someone offering similar services and they simply ignored them. When I asked what was it that made them choose to contact me, they said it was the quality of the video that stood out to them.

I hope this helps people to see that if you take action with what Rob & Brian are providing, you will get some results.

In response to your question, the videos are not personalized to your business. These are generic videos (albeit targeted to a specific industry) and they are meant for use on your own website to help sell your services.... thus there is no real need to personalize them.

Thanks Tanner! Rob and I are working hard on these new mobile videos. I'm redoing the scripts dramatically from the Local Search scripts, and selectively using stats, etc. to help the business owner "get" the need for mobile.

Hey Ian - this has been a big topic for us. Here's the scoop:

We have 5 VO talents lined up. We have shared them out with a few UK members in the Offline Renegades. We are going to pick the "best" based on feedback.

We have someone tweaking the scripts to be pure "UK" and not just US terminology.

We are going to do at least 1-2 UK videos to gauge interest. Honestly, it's quite a niche product. If we can get enough interest from UK (and maybe Australia/NZ) with that version, we'll do one from all. If not, we'll just do the first few and call it a day.

The UK is in process - see above. As for Australian accent, we'd need to have enough customers to cover the VO and production costs. To build it, we'd spend about $500US on talent plus 15 hours of time. If there are 50-75 Australian marketers who would buy, we could probably do it.

No, we are not customizing for anyone. The video is custom to that niche. For $5, you can have any number of people on Fiverr do that customization for you.

Realtor and Car dealers are coming. Car repair - good idea. I'll work on that one and see what I can put together. What I like to do is check with real businesses in the niche before we release them, and get feedback. It helps to "keep it real", if you will.

What can I do with this video? Can I chop in some (legal to use) images from my local community?

Can I edit and add my own logo onto the tail with a "call now" ?

The topic on Video #1 for mobile is: Restaurants.

The topic on Video #3 for mobile will be: Retail.

You can do anything you'd like with the video, other than resell it or give it away for re-use.

You can absolutely add images or edit the video with your logo and/or call me button.


The video format is delivered in .MOV (Quicktime) format.

We have done roughly 13 WSO's in 12 weeks starting with local search and now in mobile. We have a large group in the pipeline spanning mobile, local search, and social media.

You can pay someone on Fiverr or elsewhere to have each video edited with your logo and/or phone number.

Sure - you can use any video that you own in any niche. I would personally recommend NOT using the bar/nightclub video for restaurants. I tweak the script on each one to make it more appealing to that niche.

I am getting ready to launch my on line business this week and video assassin will be a big part of it. I have my emails ready to go with a nice logo. auto responder set up with a nice web site up. Im not really worried about getting clients. what I do need help with is how to help them build their list once i do get them. any suggestions will be appreciated
