Slick does only the posting

I have a small exe file that converts csv and txt files into rss feeds very quickly and easily.

The box that links to the full article does link out if you check it

you maybe sending traffic elsewhere, but that is two edged, the visitor still is going to leave if they don't find what they are not looking for

and having links going out is ok to have for SEO its a natural thing.

Checking the box is an option if you don't want to send traffic somewhere else don't check it. My experience it does not matter.

If you are posting only rss feeds and articles, Slick is very simple to use.

Working with Affiliate Datafeeds, can be a challenge sometimes, since vendors have no standard in compiling them so when you pull them they can vary

But if you want to autopost to your blogs, overall its a very simple tool to use.

Slick comes with a bunch of tutorial video's for the technically challenged that walks you through the process.

Also you have complete support from me, I am totally accessible, ask anyone that has worked with me, I stay with you till you are satisfied. I don't believe in selling something that I don't support personally.

This is one of the best Internet marketing tools I've purchased, EVER. I've tried a lot of things looking for an easy auto-blogging solution that doesn't make my WordPress blogs look spammy, and I finally hit pay dirt.

If you are truly technically challenged, I would advise you to begin with watching all of the videos first. I knew pretty much nothing about both rss and affiliate data feeds when I began, but what I learned from the videos was almost worth the price I paid right there. Understanding how to convert affiliate data feeds into rss feeds is a little more involved than converting your articles into an rss feed, but if you have questions Ed will help you. He gets my Nice Guy of the Year Award for being so patient about answering my questions.

If you don't do anything else with this except use it for posting PLR articles on a schedule, it's still an incredible deal. I recently purchased another plugin for auto-posting PLR articles to WordPress and it was pretty good, but Slick is way better, IMO. Combine that with everything else you can do with this package, and the amazing Resource Bible that's included as a bonus, and this is one SERIOUS auto-blogging solution. I think the price is crazy, crazy low for what you get.

I made some improvements in the interface

1) now you can post in random amounts

like from 0 to post to 5 post per day or any number combination you wish

2) drop down for existing category, before you needed to know your existing categories, if the category does not exist you can create a new category

3) the read more link, you can now add a link to read more at the bottom of your post, this is a great way to lead your readers to an affiliate product

4) excepts, you can now post on the home page as an excerpt 125 characters and it backs off to the last full word and the reader can read the full article on its own page

A few tweaks to help with the interface, the variable posting and the link feature will definitely have more control of your posting

the only time anyone has issues with Google is if you try to game the system

future post or autoblog that use this feature in Wordpress are perfect and legitimate forms of posting content to a wordpress blog without violating or gaming Google

everyone uses this feature otherwise you would be hearing that future post are banned and far as I know it is fine to do

I did a more focused search and it shows up, your search parameters are wrong

this site is indexed position 11 and 12 what happens is my links are ranking higher than the blog

so there is nothing wrong with posting with future post

why would you think otherwise, I have been doing this for as long as wordpress has had this feature and never had a site deindexed for future post

Seriously, Ed's products are always top notch worth the investment. Slick Autoposter is one of my favorite tools. I have some health problems which interrupt my posting schedule on my blogs, Slick has saved my butt so many times I can't remember!

Just recently I started using another one of Ed's products, Article Stalker, and when Article Stalker is combined with Slick Autoposter you have a pretty powerful weapon. At first I wasn't sure about the articles that Article Stalker pulled and I was a little skeptical I'd get any traffic from the articles. Quite frankly, I thought that Slick would be posting articles from Article Stalker and that would keep Google happy.

Much to my surprise, I started getting daily traffic from the articles posted by Slick Autoposter. The quality of the articles is excellent and I even get people commenting on them.

Anyway, Slick is a potent weapon. Combine it with Article Stalker and you go nuclear!

Even so, I'd need a more detailed one in this occasion.


As I said you by PM, I'm testing another software (really, I'm considering several ones) to start with autoblogging.

My knowledge about RSS technology is limited so I need some clarifications in order to be able to pick the most adequate software available.

Please, let me share my doubts about this kind of software here (obviously, I won't name another software).


I found two kinds of autoposting software:


1) Software often called "rss autoposters" which take rss feed and post them in schedule to a blog. In this category I differentiate two: WP plugins and independent scripts that can post to any blog (blogger, wordpress, etc) that support the post by mail feature.

I understand Slick is a WP plugin rss autoposter.


2) Software that ensure they can post automatically to blogs -mostly WP blogs- articles, videos, pictures and ebay or amazon or clickbank items. I did read several salesletters about this kind of software and more often than not they don't say that they use RSS feeds.

However, after read your product's presentation here, seems evident to me that they do, although transparently to the user. I'm worried about that because two main reasons:

a) Price tag of this kind of software is higher, and

b) If it's as I think it's, this kind of software is actually much less flexible than RSS autoposters (I think so because you said here that your autoposter can post ANY KIND OF FEED including not only clickbank, ebay and amazon but items from ANY AFFILIATE PROGRAM THAT GIVE US A RSS FEED.

All this sounds to me as your software -and RSS posters in general- are more powerful, versatile and under priced than another "more sophisticated" and make-up automated RSS posters.



So, here my questions go:


1) Do you think a WP plugin is better than a general RSS feed poster that supports mostly all blog's platforms? Why? It's more powerful in any way?

2) Do you think I'm right when think RSS posters like yours are more powerful and versatile than another make-up software (please, refer to my earlier statements to know what I'm speaking about. I don't want to name another software here)?

3) The software I'm testing has not a "post in the past" feature. Yours do have it, right?

4) How is your software better than YAAB which is free? A little comparison could be great.

5) I'm really interested in your Article Stalker soft, which has received a very good review here. Do you think Slink could work with it better than other autoposters?

6) Slink supports templates for posts? You know, something that allows to ensure how the images and content from RSS feeds are shown in posts.



Please, feel free to correct my statements. As I said before, I'm not an expert in this matter and because that I'm asking to many questions to you here.
