I was doing a lot of research in this exact area about a year ago, and I have to tell you, Jon has done a GREAT job laying things out. There are a bunch of things that I wasn't even aware of, and I researched this area of using Footprints and Search Operators pretty well (or so I thought).

I can safe this much about the BW. The information is priceless, but if you are not willing to roll up your sleeves at least a little it is useless. This information will DEFINITELY help you rank and crush competitors, but this is one of the things you actually have to do... Not just push a button and hope for the best. If you invest a little time, it will be what separates a decent back linking strategy to an unbeatable strategy.

There is no software required whatsoever. If you wanted to invest, there are some software's out there that can help automate some of the techniques, which I mention in the guide.

Just wanted to make a second post after actually implementing some of the material.

I grabbed 10 .edu backlinks, High Quality, Niche Specific, Great Backlinks.

That was just the first one I played with. It was about 30 minutes worth of easy work. Now I will train my employees and outsource this particular method. I will teach them one or two new ones a week and really start to see a nice difference soon.

Once again. Prepare to roll up your sleeves a little, but not even a whole lot!
