Can you put up a link to a page that his this plugin installed.
From what i saw of the demo on the video, it seems as though
this would annoy the hell out of someone because the rectangle
goes "Up and Down" while your mouse is moving.

Good idea (and even better price),but i wouldn't want to annoy a potential prospect or visitor to my website.

Interesting plugin at first sight, but if you think a little longer, this will be very annoying to visitors who will end up feeling like there is a "fly" pestering them and leave the site for good...This is how I felt by watching the demo.

Hope you don't mind my intervention, there should be a way to avoid that. It's a beta-testing right?

Your content is spread via facebook virally if it is good quality.

Again it goes back to the quality of your content and the recent Panda
updates.

Google loves social proof, and putting more weight on social seo to effect
your rankings. Backlinks are stil important but social is growing. So you
need to be aware of visitor retention, time visitor is on your site, social
interaction with your site and social seo.

This plugin address this issues.

The content only turns blue if the cursor is over the body of the post. If the cursor is anywhere else nothing lights up.

nice plugin, but i would add an option so the user could change the opacity of the blue background color. or maybe an option to change the color at all.

blue does not always fit

This looks good enough to
give it a try, especially at the low price it's being offered, you would be foolish not to get this.

If the visitor clicks to share, does that stop the blue and the share button from continuing to appear when the user hovers over it after they shared? Or does the visitor still have to see it after they have shared? Seems to me the user would hope to be able to make it go away after they have shared.

I totally agree. The add said it was not intrusive but the short clip made it look really annonying. It is still in the beta phase, right; or maybe it was not the best example?

Really like the concept, just not exactly what I would want to see if I was visiting a site. Especially if I wasn't a Facebook user. For me, the way it presents itself is obtrusive. I wouldn't want to see blue highlights while I am trying to read information to even discover if I want to share it or not. At this price, the plugin is a good buy. If future updates are included and will develop into a work around for the constant blue highlights....then it is a steal. Keep up the good work and inventiveness.

Nigel,

I purchased using Paypal, and just FYI, it is against both Paypal's and the Warrior Forum's Terms of Service to require an email opt-in in order to download a purchased product! So, you might want to change your M.O. in that regard, because Paypal has shut down many accounts, without warning and without an appeals process, for lesser infractions.

Hi Nigel,

I just installed your plugin on my site, having a small issue though. I can not catch up to the share button, it moves and stays 1-2 inches below the cursor. The only time the button can be clicked is when I reach the bottom of the content.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks,
Allan

Yeah, many downloads require mandatory opt-in and that just messes up your inbox.
Nice idea though, thanks, will install on some sites..

Seemed like a lot of hoops to jump thru just to get to the download page.

Any reason the button can't simply be just a little Facebook "f" icon or the f icon with the word "share" underneath? Like others here, I would like to see the button smaller, too. Also wondering if the button disappears once the content has been "liked"?

Thanks,
Katie

At the moment we are just trialing blue but depending on the sales
we get will allow improvements obviously, that depends on the success
of the plugin because we started it at $3.

Cheers

If doesn't go away once you share it adds a number incement next to the button like a counter.

Future mods can be made depending on the amount of requests.

Certainly open to new suggestions on how we can improve it

Hi Katie,

I got a few people asking me that. Because the plugin is in beta we
might implement some of your suggestions in the future depending on
how sales go.

For the low price so far we are getting great feedback

Hi

Not sure what that is. Could be a ppv popup . It's not related this this
product.

There are no upsells.

I'll send you the download link in a email

cheers

Nigel

Note: I am using the jvzoo system and it does take a few more seconds to
deliver the download page compared to paypal ok.

Yep. That is exactly what I was thinking. If I was a loyal follower of any blog that had this plug-in on it, I would feel like I could not get away from it and I would leave the site. It could have the same annoyance as a pop-up or one of those sites that have an automated video spokes person walk on to the screen everytime you visit.

Like it was mentioned, this is a beta version. I know the video spokes people that walk on a webpage and start speaking can be turned off by the viewer when you visit the page, BUT its still a pain in the booty. Perhaps you could have the programmer incorporate a way for returning users to not see the plugin after they have viewed an article once. Perhaps by monitoring IP addresses and only making it appear to unique visitors? I know that some pop-ups offer this feature. Best regards. Thanks for offering your product as an WSO!

Hey Gary,

Appreciate your feedback on this. I agree with you I think pop-ups,
especially containing videos would annoy the hell out of me.
Fbhover is less intrusive nevertheless I'll talk to the programmer see if
a IP monitor or once shared won't appear again can be incorporated.

cheers

Bought this and had it installed and configured in under 5 minutes - it really is that easy and works a treat. Although I sometimes have a job catching the share icon.
One word of warning - as it is a Wordpress plugin there is always the possibility that the plugin will not work on your blog due to a conflict with the actions of another plugin. From my tests I found that this plugin conflicted with the HeadJS Plus plugin.
Solution was a no brainer for me - deactivate HeadJS Plus this plugin is far more valuable. :-)
Fantastic plugin at a great price.

***** Apologies to the makers of JS Head Plus, my bad, it was actually a plugin by Emilio Lopez called Autoptimize that is the real culprit. See my post below - there is a workaround.

We've done alot of testing but there are so many plugins we can't test all.
The HeadJS Plus conflict is great news for others that might have a similar
problem.

Thanks for your valuable input

Hi Nigel,
I made a mistake and apologise to all, it was in fact not the free JS Head Plus plugin but instead a plugin (paid) by Emilio Lopez called Autoptimize. This is a plugin that optimizes content of pages and posts. If anyone bought that WSO then you can just deactivate the plugin(Autoptimize) and reactivate it when you want to use it - a minor inconvenience.

Personally I have now removed this plugin(not yours) from all my blog. I will amend my previous post now.

I see from some of the previous posts that I am not the only one waiting to receive an email with my password to download the purchase... it has now been 45 minutes... PayPal acknowledged the payment immediately... is this JVZoo.com that slow all the time? First time I have ever purchased anything from this provider.

Ok, now it is 4hours and 15 minutes later... any chance I can get the software???

Well, not a bad idea but I think this plugin, or what it does, will be annoying to most of the visitors... on the other side, some of them could love it and find it cool... but I would bet that most of them would be annoyed...

Besides the advices to change color of background, because it does have sense that blue doesn't fit everywhere (background colors different than white), I would suggest to change the place of share button... it would be less annoying if share button in beside the post content and not over the post content...

I've just started to use the jvzoo delivery system over warriorplus and some other customers also said it's not as fast so I'll take this up with jvzoo.

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion Shanekel. We may implement this in the future
depending on the demand and popularity of the plugin.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks,

I'm having this same problem on my blog... http://bloggersplanet.com/blog/2011/07/hello-world/ -- this is the third blog I've tried it on - and this sample is just a testing location. You can see it is impossible to click the button. There are very few plugins in this location to conflict

I also tried on an iPad and I can tap the fb button but nothing happens

I'm on mac OS X Lion - tried in Safari, Chrome, Firefox... all do the same thing

You've got conflicting plugins installed, If you see my site here
RC Planes for Beginners works perfectly.

What plugins do yo uhave installed?

Try disabling each plugin one at a time the test to find the culprit?
