*Sorry, I answer your question last (I read from the bottom up =).

...Regarding the way to deliver the product (without the fear of the 'exposed' thankyou page), the RECEIPT ID and REGISTRATION CODE is to prevent/make it harder to share the Registration/Account... (although you can only register one account with those 2 info x).

Well, after the customer/you entered in those 2 data, the script will IMMEDIATELY display the Ordered Item for you to download/view.

Hi Alton,

You should have access to the DOWNLOAD LINK sent IMMEDIATELY after you press the "Pay Now" button in your email! ..And should not have to register for an account!

The reason you would want to register for an account is so you can have download access + updates to your Ordered Products at anytime, anywhere that have an internet connection.

Anyway, I don't know what happen to the INSTANT EMAIL with the DOWNLOAD LINK in your case, but I hope you understand that the reason for a registration page like that in addition to the immediate Payment Confirmation Email with the download link.

P.S. Since my download files are not in the "public_html" folder (so no one can share the download links), I can't send you the 'direct' download link to the product other than when you've receive that Payment Confirmation Email with the Download Link.

Edit: Also, you don't have to join the Support Forum to get the download link. When you register for a DOWNLOAD MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT, the system automatically register an account for the Support Forum.

Hi Lina,

Please check your email to see if you have receive the payment confirmation email with the DOWNLOAD LINK or not.

*Note: you don't need to register, but the advantage of registering is that you can always have access to the product and its update in the future . (The Registration information is also sent with the download link via that email =).

Unfortunately, I purchased this product and have yet to receive any type of confirmation email, download link or anything else. I have contacted the owner of the WSO, and hopefully this will be resolved.

Will post an update soon.

Update**Mint-Tree responded almost immediately to my pm, and is now working to get the issue resolved. I haven't received the product yet, but I am really impressed at the level of customer service I'm receiving. I hope the product is just as good!

The checkout process sux... pay for the item, go to the download page, wait for your confirmation email, copy this id here and copy that id there, and then error codes saying you are not in the database.... It's a dead end!

Funny, I got charged and received the paypal email.... but now I'm not in the DB??? Jumping through all these hoops for a $1 product... This is ridiculous!

You've go so much protection on your product that good paying customers can't even get access to it...

So go ahead and keep my dollar... use it towards a payment/delivery system that works... like DLGuard. I definitely won't be buying anything from you in the future... all that time and hassle for nothing. It's not worth it!

Hi Eric,

Did you receive the confirmation email with the download link--not the PayPal Receipt of Purchase Email?

Again, you don't have to enter those information in to "register for future updates", as you can download the product on the thankyoupage.php sent via payment confirmation email.

(Also, as posted in the FAQ above, please allow some times for the email with the download link to arrive... I guess not a lot of people go down to that part =)...

Anyway, I haven't had the time to write some code to 'pre-fill' the form for you & others, but now will take some times to do that, so you don't have to 'fill' in the forms... LOL... .


EDIT: I've just done that. Now IMMEDIATELY AFTER PAYMENT, the form should be pre-filled with the info =P!

I also never got any info (except from PayPal) on the second purchase. lucky that the first went well and I was able to log back into the site. seems like a lot of form filling and extra work. you have a looooong way to go before you should be selling this as a product/membership script.

also, the wordpress plugin list has (so far) at least one dead link and several of the plugs are 'dead' since wp 2.3->2.5...some good ones on the list true, but many are NOT 2.7 compatible.

LOL... KEY, regarding the form filling, I'll probably remove a field or two (e.g. registration code) in the future. (I added in Receipt ID in the last minute to retrieve the sales info from the database --> the reg code is not require to retrieve the info apparently x).

*Sidenote: there is an option to auto-reg & auto-everything on the backend.. but I've not fully test it yet, so the registration page is used instead.

..And yes part of it was to test the script in a live environment (I've test it in the sandbox --> which apparently is wayyyy different from a live PayPal IPN -> takes longer to send you the download link =).

Finally, thank you for your honest response. I plans to update the manuals on a monthly basis (or WP version update) and will probably add another manual for 'version' compatibility.

Ok I got this product and got inside the member's area without much hitches. I have to say the Plugin list is fairly broad (15 Pages) and for a complete Noob (To WP) like me it may take a while to decipher as to which plugins are worth going with. That said, there is also another file for "Recommended" plugins which will get you up and running quickly. That said I have two problems...

1. I was specifically lookinng for a plugin which will allow me to AUTO-POST my content. Meaning a plugin which will automatically make posts at set time in the future, the time being set by me. Also, the content is manually added by me (In the present but posted at a future date) and not something which is collected from other websites. I was unable to find any reference to this kind of plugin in the list. Maybe I was not able to "Decipher" but it was listed there. If so, please tell me as to which one is that?

2. Also, in your member's area under the "Gifts" link, NONE of your FREE downloads are working. I tried it in FF3, IE and also used download manager and all are giving error as to the "Non- existence" of file. You need the check the links at the backend to get it running.

But all in all, you can't go wrong with this for $1, especially if you are a complete WP NOOB like me.

- You have a nice product there, worth more than the $1
- As many others have commented, the post payment delivery / signup has severe bugs.
- The immediate registration form keeps insisting that "one field is empty"
- The delivery message is delayed - whereas your "pl. confirm your subscription" message kicks in immediately, making me wonder whether you're more interested in spamming me rather than making good on your promises.
- Your support forum is equally frustrating; do you need a math captcha on every post / thread? For some reason, that seems buggy; it insists that I'm not human.

I finally got your download page, and the product; however, the account login still says that it doesn't know my email!!!!

Sending you a PM with my details for you to resolve; however, I don't think using the Warrior Forum for specific product support assistance is a good option.

--Regarding the autoresponder & download email, these are done automatically: I don't have control over which message you will receive first .

--The support forum is temporary for the WSOs, as I plan to move it on another domain (got 2-3 domains but haven't pick one yet =)..

--When you got to the login page and cannot login, well that is because you've not registered an account yet.

--And finally, thank you for sending me a PM, as I have already replied to you (and also, believe it or not, there are a lot of warriors who prefer using WF PM system for WSO support rather than their own sites =)..
