Since I own an article directory, what's the criteria to making your top 103 article sites?

Do you have a few hours.

Top Level Criteria:

1. Your site has to be up, running, and fully installed. (No database errors on the homepage. )

2. Your site needs to be a General Article Directory. (If I am selling organic dog food, car mufflers, laser eye care, or homemade snake repellant...I need to be able to write a relevant article and have a category to put it in.) Niche article sites are wonderful...but this list only targeted sites that anyone can use.

3. No forced CPA offers, Popups, or porn ads. (I'm amazed at how many people try this...I don't want to be forced to fill out a CPA offer about Viagra in order to read an article titled "How To Make Cedar Birdhouses".)

4. Your pages must be indexed. If you have 30,000 articles and Google, Yahoo, and MSN say your site only has 3 pages...something is wrong. (One thing we noticed very frequently over the last month we analyzed the data was how many sites are being "penalized/filtered" for duplicate content, simply because the Title tag contains a repetitive slogan.)

5. The site needs to be free of charge for submissions. That's not to say some of the paid sites aren't wonderful...it's just not the business model we were including in this catalog.

Now...getting down to the scoring values...and the weeding out of the sites from this point:

1. Clickability Score is #1. If your article site is loaded with advertisements, poor layout, poor text flow, separated bio box, etc... From an article marketer's point of view, it should be very easy for someone to read the article, from top to bottom, and click on the resource links, without having to dodge ads, popups, and poor design elements.

2. Total Control of many page elements. I should be able to set the Title Tag, Description Tag, Keyword URL, Keywords, etc... If I am not be "directly" setting these values, they should be pulled from my Article Title, Summary, first paragraph, etc... Basically, think of it this way, I need to be able to know that when my article ranks in the top 10 for my keyword, what exactly the searcher is going to see in the SERPS. (So that I can manipulate it in my favor )

3. Good onpage optimization. Your site should already be ranking in the top 10 for terms that your articles are written about. Ideally, the owner of the article site should be doing his own promotion to gather links, and ultimately traffic to the site.

4. SEO Rank is #2. We took 1 Billion + keywords, from 5 independent sources and checked all the article sites. The data was then normalized using Indexed page counts so that the end result is an overall "SEO Rank Effectiveness Score"...

5. Traffic/Index Rank is #3. We take a look at your existing traffic (using 4 different sources) and normalize that with your indexed pages. The result is a metric as to how much the "average joe articles" are receiving traffic from your site. This metric is directly related to the SEO Rank score...but does consider different EXISTING factors of your site.

Other things that are helpful, though not "filtering values" would be:

1. Does your site offer Social Bookmarking options/buttons.

2. Does your site have genuinely Related Articles listed on the page.


Again, starting with a list of 6,000+ sites and weeding down to 103, you have to be very picky.

There were plenty of "good sites" that didn't make the cut...and we'll be sure to revisit them again to see if anything changes.

The way I solved it was that I found the button said: "other version"

its really nice when i read through the stuff of your above...but do you have a demo to show how this works...

the other concern is that if this have automated system which can post articles to 103 websites........but what i have read through SEO's that google or any other SE's do not like automation submision work .......then how will this problem be solved???????

I see Jack is offline so I will, as a purchaser of this product and receiver of those bonuses, try to answer your question.

The auto submitting of those articles is not in a way as you normally think when you think about auto submitting software.

I can not see how this method will affect your relationship with Google in any other way then when you submit them manually.

I, personally have never heard, by the way, that Google have any concern about automation of your tasks at your computer.

If Google dislike anything about mass submitting context to the web, it must be mass submitting the same context to multi places, not how fast you create and submit unique context.

But even that (duplicated context) is probably a myth, when the duplicated context is off your own website.

I hope this helps, even it is a weak explanation due to not spill out the secret about this.

Actually, Google or anyone for that matter, won't know that the task is being automated, if you do it properly.

It's nothing more than having your computer perform the exact same steps that you would perform if you were sitting at it.

What I think you are referring to is automated content spamming...which is totally different.

In this process, we are using our brains and software for the heavy lifting, then simply having a computer submit to the sites as we would by hand...only doing it automatically.

You're correct...if we were just talking about a list such as:

1. Item 1
2. Item 2
3. Item 3

But we're not.

Here's why you would spend at least 6 months coming up with this same list...

1. You'd have to mine all the really good article directory lists on the internet...at least 500 of them...

2. You'd have to sort through that list, weed out the junk, dead sites, etc...to come up with a valid list of 6,000 article sites.

3. You'd then need to visit 10 different databases and extract data for all 6,000 sites...so you'd need to pull up 60,000 web pages and pull data from them into a database.

4. You'd then need to employ researchers to visit by hand 1500+ sites to check for the onpage SEO factors and Clickability factors.

5. Don't forget to create all the metrics to sort the winners from the losers...and keep the top 103.

6. We're not done yet...you still need to take thumbnails of the homepages, enter the data, format the list...create the videos...and on and on and on.

$27 is a bargain.

Unless you'd like to spend 6 months on this yourself?

And I didn't mention coming up with the logic that led to the creation of the list in the first place...add that to the To Do.
