I cannot be bought - and certainly not for a measly 97 cents. And yes, I did get this product without paying for it. She just sends me her stuff sometimes because she likes it when I catch the typos.

I also happen to be one of Barbara's biggest fans.

She knows of what she writes, she writes concisely and well, and at the very least she will save you hours and hours of having to do your own research.

This product is in keeping with her other products. However, only one thing is missing that I can find...that UGLY holiday sweater your got for Christmas! LOL Fortunately, I didn't receive anything that I wish to rid in my life, but if you did...Read on to get a taste of what this product is about!

Seriously, let me start out by saying that I love that Barb always includes search queries to help make our tasks easier and she has included many here for us.

As always, I appreciated the inclusion of additional resources to help extend one's education on different concepts throughout the entire ebook. The idea of creating headlines for one of the methods she recommends is a great help for those unfamiliar with some of the "ins and outs" of this site. This guide provides additional opportunities for selling your “returns” through different avenues.

I think Idea 6 is pretty common for a lot of folks; however idea #7 is not used as much I don't think unless there are several items usually. I would say it is the link to the site in this category is one of my favorites of what she covers in the book, as it lends itself to the “Pay It Forward” mentality. Something that I try to do alot.

Idea #8 would be the best for getting rid of the really UGLY sweater that someone buys you every year!

Idea #9 & #4 work well together, especially when it comes to really difficult to handle items (i.e. anything that would cost a fortune to mail.)

Idea #12-this is the first time I have ever heard of this. Rather unique concept.

So, this product is made up of 12 basic common sense ideas for those who get gifts that they get saddled with, and just can't bare to keep them hanging around the house.

Don't forget to check out the “gifting resources” on page 25! An interesting collection, no doubt.

Rather than repeat what everybody else has said (which I agree with) I'd like to say that following the links in Barb's books is where the magic happens for me. If you buy this book and fail to follow the links, you're missing out.

Trying to think how best to describe the experience, I am reminded of some games we played when I was young, where we learned new ideas without noticing that we were learning by playing. Following Barb's links is like one of those games ... it's only in the looking back and having the multiple "aHa!" moments that we realize how much she's taught us when we thought we were just out having fun.

I had a lot of fun with this and I have to admit that I learned a thing or two along the way. Just when you think you know all there is to know about getting rid of gifts ... along comes Barb to upset your apple cart and show you stuff you didn't realize you didn't know.

I'm thinking that it might be nice to just have a subscription to everything Barb publishes ... because after you dig your teeth into a couple, you know you're gonna want them all. At least that's been my experience.
