I suspect you haven't understood how it works. With just a little bit of research, you can position your Hubs to start receiving traffic instantly from two sources as explained in the ebook.

Once you understand how it works, you can apply it to Wordpress.com. I've tested it and it works just fine. Yes, depending on the squidoo lens, it can be used for that purpose.

2. I don't think there is a danger of oversaturated because the technique is based on niche marketing. Also, only a few people will act on this info.

I'm really pleased you see the power of this trick/technique. I've been using it to promote Clickbank products for almost a year. I have now completely moved away from Adwords - My budget there is less than $20 per month now. I used to spend several thousand dollars every month before Google made the 'changes'.

I now concentrate on writing articles for Web 2.0 sites like Squidoo, Hubpages, Wordpress, Blogger, AOL Blogs, Yahoo 360, Google Sites, Google Base, Scribd etc. There are just too many of these sites that are ranking well in the Search engines. I use the technique to get my articles well exposed and ranked quickly.

In each niche, I create simple websites with short lists of related Clickbank products. For example, I would write a page with 4 weight loss products from Clickbank and include a quick one paragraph review and an image for each product. I then post unique articles (that I write) on web2.0 sites about various weight loss related topics that link back to that page.

People go to the page and some of them buy something. I have been testing this system for some time now and it works better than promoting a single product. I also put some adsense ads at the bottom of the page for these who are not interested in the clickbank products.

Of course, you can promote affiliate programs or your own products directly from the web 2.0 site. It works too. But with my approach I make money from the affiliate program and from Google Adsense too.

I also use the technique to test Clickbank and affiliate program niches. Some niches will bring a lot of traffic but with very few sales. For this type of niches, I put Google Adsense ads at the top. An example I tested recently was 'cover letters'. Lots of traffic, but few sales. There are also some niches which are simply a waste of time.

The secret is to build on the profitable ones and write as many articles as you can about these. Over time you will start getting sales consistently.

I stopped using email lists in 2003 and for over 4 years, I was getting all my sales from search engine traffic and from other websites. I decided to try email lists for several months last year (2007) but I didn't get the time to develop the follow-ups and the newsletters so I cancelled my Aweber account. I will try again sometime later this year and see what happens. If I can find affiliate programs with hundreds of follow up letters that I can add to my Aweber Autoresponders, perhaps I could start sooner.

I used to use Adwords to get traffic for testing and for sales but it was very expensive even though I used to make a good profit. This technique is free and can make you some good money too.

Are we not just moving the "build it and they will come" SEO tactics out to hubpages, and squidoo to try to get in the way of "instant" traffic on somebody elses site [squidoo, hubpages]

How do you actually generate and drive targeted traffic into these lens, and hubs....rather than hope it shows up

Why would the same time and energy into our own blogs, or websites not accomplish the same results..

All the traffic courses I have ....Traffic Secrets 2.0, and Traffic Manifesto 2.0...all talk content, and get in front of buyers.....so what am I missing....or is it just build more shops [real estate] hoping for somebody to walk thru door......

Apparently I haven't grasped how it works ....I thought we either drive traffic or attract it?

Hi Leo,

I can't explain to you how it works etc here without giving away the information in the ebook. This technique is not a "build it and they will come" approach, it's placing your Hubs and Lenses exactly where the traffic is. The method does not conflict with the idea of driving or attracting traffic. Both Squidoo and Hubpages encourage their users to create quality content as a way to get and attract visitors, and to also use these sites to feed traffic to the users' own sites. Almost all methods of getting traffic to a site leverages traffic from other websites (Search engines feed traffic to other sites, link exchanges, articles, banners, text links on other sites etc). Only direct type in traffic does not come from other websites.

A lot of courses including the ones you've metioned above talk about getting traffic from other websites. Check out the article below by the founder of Squidoo Seth Godin:

He's talking about simple things. Not complicated stuff.

Because your own blogs and websites may not have the same amount of traffic and good placement in search engines that Squidoo and Hubpages have.

Just read this report and looks like one of the better WSOs. I will try it this weekend. I kind of heard of this concept before buried within another source not specifically about it, but this report is very clear cut about what to do and how to do it... Actually, this concept can be applied to other such sites with the same features. I think I got more than I paid for. And yes, the traffic is free and you don't have to pay any additional expenses beyond your $5 investment in this report.

real_skinner likes your book and says it has good potential, but he considers it black hat. Is it grey hat or black hat or totally white hat? I wouldn't want any of my blogs to get banned or less love from Google for doing it.

Karma8, it's none of that. The thread you've referred to seems to be talking about something else. There's NO secret weapon which is a JS Code in my ebook.

The technique is not grey or black hat. As far as I know there's no danger of any sites being banned from Google. After you've read the ebook, you'll understand why.

Actually they do have Squidoo tags indexed, I'm not certain that they're up to date - but you can still see what's already been indexed by Google.

Oh, and you need to altered the method in the eBook a little so as to get a proper list of them.
