How do the rankings work...the lower the number the better or is it the other way...?

Thanks proapc for the question. The rankings work like the Alexa etc rankings.. the lower the number the higher up in the tree you are.

So the goal for a squidoo is to get in the top one or two thousand of the Squidoo rankings, and keep them there.

We are really pleased that a lot of our lenses hit the top 100 - 500 in the rankings!

I'm glad you agree that what we say about Squidoo is do-able. I personally don't believe anything I read in sales letters anymore, so if anything I over-compensate as a result and we are maybe too low key in our 'pitch' of these products.

Read Sandra's review below about what Google is doing with her articles and lenses since she got them. Its stunning what you can do if you market your squidoo well.

I have seen for myself what a couple of squidoos linking to my 'keeping goats' website can do for immediate Google indexing for a brand new website!

And within 7 days my Squidoos were page #1 search results for the long-tail keywords I used - very impressive.

The lenses work yall because they are quality!!!
