Hi Michael,

They are currently in .MP4 format, so you should be able use most any current video editor to add your own details at the beginning, end - and even replace or add additional audio.

Also, if you upload them to Youtube, you can use their built in editor to add your contact details to these too.

Would a different format be better for the editor you are using? Let me know and I'll look into it.

I just picked up the main product and have a question on the oto. Does the oto portion go into exactly how to set it all up (if any download areas/pages need to be done) or is it pretty much a done for you deal and I just plug and play?

Hi - thanks for your message.

The "Advanced Kit" comes with the parts needed for setting up one of the lead-gen systems, along with step-by-step instructions. While all the pieces are provided, I don't do the installation for you - you'll have to edit the emails and be able to upload files to your web site.

Don't know how automatic you mean by "plug and play", but if you can handle Microsoft word and know how to upload files, you should be all set.

Thanks for the response....Definitely an "AHA" moment for me!...I didn't know I could edit MP4! I assumed I needed AVI's. I use Adobe Premiere CS3 as well as good old Camtasia 6 (Haven't felt the need to upgrade yet...Should I?) Any special tips for doing this?

Hi Michael,

If you're video editing software is older, you may have to check for an update or Codec for importing/editing MP4. Otherwise, just use a converter to change from .MP4 to the format your editor supports - e.g. .avi.

Just a short note to see if you might have an answer to my problem. I just downloaded everything and was going to email to myself the Google Places video just to see how well it would come through.
However, as I tried to send it as an attachment I get a error notification that it exceeds my 25MB attachment limit.
Any suggestions as how I can email this to a potential client?

Gmail has a 20MB limit on attached files I think. You'll can either upload it to your server and send your client the link, or use a service such as dropbox. (Or actually host the video as outlined in the guide, and send them the link to watch it online.)

Just purchased and I am looking forward to reviewing each of the videos this evening. However, I noticed that a few individuals requested alternate video formats for editing, I'd like to add my vote to that request. I would also like to request transcripts of each video. And I would also like versions of each video without audio but I imagine that I can find a utility to strip out audio. Although I would be willing to pay another reasonable OTO fee to have that already done.

Meanwhile, again you should be able to edit .MP4 any way you want in the latest version of most video editing software. If you have older software, just convert to the needed format such as .avi.

Wow - it's hard to top a thorough review like Bill Platt's, so i'll just say that I AGREE with what he said!

These videos are all excellent and well worth it for the tiny investment here. Like some others have mentioned, a transcript so I could re-record the audio and maybe insert some additional content would be nice, but I'm more than thrilled with my purchase and the OTO was well worth it too.
