Jeremy, do you have businesses looking at these branded codes and saying: "Looks to me like I can just put a little logo on my existing QR code and I'm good to go - don't need to pay for a new one to be generated!" - what is your set response to that? (other than, Go ahead, try it and see what happens!)

Are there any limitations to where the logo can be placed within the QR Code? Are there limitations to the colors you can use? Is this a WordPress plugin or stand alone software? Does your package include any type of backend such as capturing leads or is it just the brandable QR code generator? Thanks |

| If you are doing them for a bar - Do the code with a "happy hour coupon" logo, and make it really colorful for the people to be added to an SMS list for the bar...2 birds one stone, and a decent monthly fee on the SMS.

As far as colors go - The actual code will need to be "somewhat" dark so that it can scan...that's just the nature of the beast, but you can also add a background color to further customize it. the generator is a Wordpress plugin - It doesn't have a lead capture built in, but you can do things like SMS where the code is set to text to a certain number to add teh person scanning to an SMS list etc...

Can I ask can I track to see how many people have scanned it like tracking stats for the qr codes that I generate?

Seems like an interesting software. I'm not familiar with Wordpress plugins. Would I need to buy hosting? What would need to be done in order to run the software?

| Yeah, you would at the very least have to have one of the really cheap hosting plans...The plugin gets installed on a domain, where the plugins are created and the stats are housed.

Wow! I was just thinking that I need a really good QR code generator... But this thing rocks! The typical Jeremy Kelsall cutting-edge innovation on display, and a real edge over the "competition." Bought! Now to go make money...! |

I guess a image on the qrcode can get harder to scan the code, or no problem at all?

I've been doing QR codes for business for free cause I have no idea how much to charge. I was going to start charging $25 per code just so people can leave me alone until I saw this. Do you have a price range that works for you? Just wanted to ask before I buy the plugin. |

Looks like a good add-on product for my QR code software. Just picked it up and will try it out on an SMS campaign for car dealers. Thanks, Michael WiredBean |

Is it possible to take up more real estate with the custom image w/o affecting the scan? These QR codes look good, however they are blown up larger than what is actually practiced. At least from what I see on a daily basis as as a consumer. Or maybe it doesn't really matter as long as the client thanks it's cool. Thank you, Jeremy |

Then... I started using the QR Codes as a way to pitch "campaigns"... Example: If I were talking to a bar owner, the code would be set up to add people to a sms list so he/she could text them about happy hour, specials, and live entertainment.... So, even though I was essentially selling the same thing, I just presented it different, and in many cases, for a "campaign" I was getting on the low end $97 on the high average end $500. ...When I started adding color and images, I started getting a flat $197 again for the code, and again business owners were happy to pay because it is "new", plus they think it's "cool" to actually be able to BRAND the code. All in all, it's how you present the "offer" If you are selling QR Codes, you're going to get $50 - $200 If you sell marketing campaigns though, you can pretty easily get a few hundred bucks or more a pop. If the logo is "words" with a transparent background, you can take up quite a bit of the code. If it's a logo with a colored background that actually blocks the code, then you have to take that into account. ![]() All in all, it is a "case by case" basis, depending on the size of the code, the logo, etc...you get the hang of it pretty quick though.

I'm using Trumpia to make codes that auto populate a smart phones text message. Will this work with those codes? Is there a money back if I try this and it doesn't work? |

Jeremy, can these codes generate EPS (or other high resolution) images so they can be printed on paper? Also, what is the largest size that can be generated if we want to display it in a shop window? Bob |

Interesting idea. Hah, I got to say, those are some of the ugliest graphics I've ever seen in marketing. I bet the people that buy will do a much better job with them. Aren't those images just too small to be seen if they are used in print? You blew them up here. |

When you're making a code for a business 9 times out of 10, they are going to supply the graphic, so you don't have to be a photoshop wizard or anything like that for this to work. Quote:
Adding larger sizes shouldn't be an issue if that's what people need though, so we'll see how it goes.

| I'm not sure about the resolution that they actually save in from the wordpress install, but there are free converters out there that will convert just about any image type to EPS or similarly high resolution if needed.

After downloading the file... 1. Unzip the package 2. Inside the package you will see a .zip file 3. Move that .zip file to a location you can easily find it (desktop) 4. Upload that .zip file to wordpress 5. Install 6. Activate

What is the ECC of these QR codes? My concern is that the QR code will be harder to scan with a logo on it, and the lower the ECC, the higher the probability that it will not scan in less than optimal circumstance.

If anyone has features they would like to see, I'm very open to suggestions. Brandable QR Code Machine is in the form that I've found useful in my business, but if anyone thinks a feature would make a positive impact in their business, I'm more than happy to see what I can do about adding it in.

| I test each code with no less than 4 scanners before I deem it "A good code". So, it's not a case of just being able to slap anything together and you're good to go - Depending on the code, you might have to move the logo around , use darker colors on the code itself, or make adjustments to ensure that the code scans easily.

Jeremy, You mentioned in your sales letter that you have on sold this to customers for $1000, so they can create their own Brandable codes. Does the Developers license give us the rights to do the same thing? Also, I just purchased the product, but it doesn't appear to contain a license file stating our rights when using this. Thanks, Rob |

So, and maybe I'm missing something but: Why do we need the app then if you have to create the QR Code first and then add the graphic to it? Why can't we create our own QR code and then add a graphic to it ourselves using Photoshop, gimp, pixelator or some other graphic software? Just curious as to why we would need your QR generator unless it does something different and more? thanks and not trying to be confusing but just need clarification |

The large pink and the large red codes above both showed an address briefly in the browser, then google.com came up. Not the intended website.

Bought it. Hoping for output option of high res version, at least 3000px x 3000px. That is a big graphic file but would accommodate a 10x10 inch print in color printing.

I purchased this more out of curiosity and as a tool to add to the sales bag. I thought it would make a cool promo. I also purposely uploaded the plugin and tried using it without reading directions first. I wanted to see if it was easy to execute. To my surprise it was Super easy to use. Both QR & Backround colors are fully adjustable. It did take a few times to position and size the logo/graphic for it to work. It ended up only taking about 5 minutes from install to create my branded code. The only negative is the graphic has to be somewhat small for the code to have enough information to generate but it works! Previously I created branded QR codes using Photoshop, but this is easier. My only concern is how light or heavy the plug in is and if it will slow down the domain. Other than that I was satisfied with my purchase. |

Jeremy, At the start of last year, I had purchased a couple of WSOs about QR codes from Mark Ress, but never took action on them simply because of this logo problem and not having Photoshop or knowing how to use GIMP. Perhaps this will help me pull the trigger by removing that inability. Thanks, Terry |

I hate you Jeremy.... Let me qualify that. I was in the process of putting together something similar and was only a couple of days away. I have to say, unfortunately, yours is better. So, the first statement still stands. Oh well, at least my customers will get a nice bonus for purchasing your one. BTW, I don't hate you, that is a very strong word. Let me think of another one....hmmmmmm, let me get back to you. |

I must be doing something wrong. When I generate the code and hit save, there is no qr code in the box where you can add the logo. and how do you save it to a file so you can use it. I didn't figure that out either
