Dinh, Video A - I know that using your 'smart phone' when bored or sitting in the bathroom may be a common use but from a sales perspective calling someone out in public and telling them that they are standing in their underwear is not an effective way to solicit their business. You should use a different example like when you are on the go and need answer now or you are hungry and need to order and pick up dinner. Video B - you could just use the characters first name, associating him with Leonard Decaprio might divert the viewer from the call to action. |

Was hoping the video would be something a bit punchier (especially after the excellent SMS video I purchased from you) With, for example more hard-hitting facts & figures eg "how many users accessing internet are doing so from mobile device", "trends for mobile purchases", "if you are not mobile friendly then you are losing over half your business" etc etc I don't think this video quite hit the spot - sorry If pushed I would always choose the generic video to be able to use across my network of various mobile services sites - but with the current video as is, I don't think it cuts it & don't plan to use it Come on Dinh, we all know you can do much better videos than this  |

Hi Dinh, thanks for asking. Here are my thoughts on the matter... I love the idea of personalizing the videos with an Avatar. However, being a FEMALE, video B would need much more customization than just changing the name. I would need at least an image of a female, a female voiceover and - being from Germany, I'd vote for a German translation as well. Doing my own voiceover would work for the English version but not for the German, since all text is in English... So under this aspect, I'd vote for video A. However, I think the opening "Hello" (pause) "Wondering how to..." is too lame. I like the opeing from video B much better "Welcome to the Mobile Marketing Movement. Are you ready for..." I like the "salesman" image of video A better than the image of video B (he looks like an actor who is receiving a Grammy award or something). Also, the guy in video A looks friendlier. And I agree with Dough Cameron that mentioning that people use their mobile phone while being in the bathroom might not be the best sales pitch. How about replacing this whole sentence with something like: "People use their mobile phone all the time: To get driving directions, as appointment reminders or alarm clocks, to shoot photos or videos, for business and time management, to contact peers or clients or simply for entertainment." Then you can continue with "A smartphone is the best shopping companion to locate local stores, read reviews etc." And like always... the music has to stay in the BACKGROUND. It's better with this video than with previous ones but I think it's at the edge. Maybe turn down its volume just a tiny bit. However, despite all the criticism, I really like the videos you create and I will surely buy this one as well. |

Thank you Doug for your examples of how people use their mobile phones. What I wanted to say was, "people use their phone whenever they have a spare moment or when multi-tasking is possible. I read a study somewhere about "What people do with their smart phones and those rank the highest" B- I thought using the full name is more formal in a business presentation, but first name only is better? Video A is generic Video B is more personal with name and phone number Do you like video 1 or video 2 better and why? I like video 2 better because of the personalization. What parts of the script do you want to add, remove or changed? I like the script as is (you don't want to overwhelm the prospect). What about the background music, too (loud, soft, fast, slow, sad, happy)? I think the background music should stay at its volume level but it is too slow and not as up beat as your other videos. Music plays a great deal in emotion in relation to marketing. Extra options Would you like your own avatar character (from photo) in the video? I have 6 of your videos. I would definitely like my own avatar on this one! (What price are you willing to pay?) I have paid between $9.00-$19.00 for your previous videos. The price structure you have is very doable. Want celebrity (voice & avatar) as the salespeople characters? I don't think I want this option. As long as the voice for a female avatar is a female voice, I think that is enough. If yes, who? (Pres. Obama, Queen, Arnold, Sean Connery, Elvis, Oprah...) ....Obama, Arnold LOL Other Languages (Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, German...)? Other languages are always a plus! Other Accents (Australian, UK, Scottish, Irish, New York, Southern...)? An accent which can be understood well is all I need. Anything else do you want the video to have or not have? I like my videos to be customized. Your videos are all over youtube, so having my logo and info makes it stand out. Branding is very helpful. Can't think of anything else. |

Hello, I really love your work. I have been waiting for THIS video for it seems forever. So I am going to be very blunt with my review and thanks for getting feedback before the release. Both videos need that part about the bathroom removed! Both videos otherwise are "ok" BUT there is a golden moment in video 2! Video 2 seconds 48 to the 1:07 IS THE HOME RUN! THE MONEY MOMENT! ETC ETC ETC That 19 seconds should be at the front of whichever video you decide to release. The stats part comes off as just another commericial, but :48 to 1:07 is getting in the face of the business owner right away and stating "you must get a mobile optimized website" and "here are just some of the reasons why" Put the ending of video 2 [the hook, the need, the must] as the early as you can to the start of the video and then go into the "why" part with the stats and then you have a video the will make people sit up and take notice. The rest will be up to us to close the deal by offering even more reasons why they need to get a mobile optimized site. Remember most biz owners have not heard of a mobile website. So we have to get into their heads right away with a punch to the face. :48 to 1:07 of 2nd video is a punch. jmo |

Oh yeah can you have a screen shot of a non mobile optimized site and next to it the screen shot of the mobile optimized version. Blow that pic up and THEN WE ARE ON TO SOMETHING. Seeing is believing. If we had that in the video then the biz owner will instantly see what their problem is. Stats can go in one ear and out the other. BUT seeing that a non-mobile opitmized site looks real bad on a phone and what it COULD look like is better than any stat we can throw out. This video could be your biggest hit and the biggest video wso ever, IF done just right. You are almost there! |

Hi Dinh The revised version appears better, especially with the inserted comparison image Q. In the script is 'Dino DiCaprio' just a generic example & when we purchase do we supply you with our own required name? Or do we get the video as Dino DiCaprio? Also what is the cost of bespoke videos? |

Hi sainteve21, Yes, I blew up the "before and after" website images to be almost the height of the iPad(video)... looks very cool especially when watching it back on my neighbor's 65" Samsung HDTV in 1080p! The person doing the selling for you in the video is Dino DiCaprio (a made up generic name). You can say, that's my employee, he's one of the best on my sales team.... only if they ask. But if they ask, they are ready to buy! I can customize the video with your own name, logo, company name, phone number, website, qr code, matching voice over... for $117 (only after you buy the generic video) It will cost $50 more for me to create your character from a high quality photo you send and put you in the video (replacing Dino DiCaprio). Hi Brian, I just checked, there is no logo or text branding. You have to do that yourself or pay $20 and I can do it for you. If you're talking about the file name, you can rename it to anything you want. Some video player displays the file name at the beginning while playing back the video. thx, Dinh Quote:

I would much prefer that a name was not used at the beginning of the video. Unless it was one's own name, I don't see any benefit. John |

Honestly not happy with the "my name is" branding. I expected something more generic. I guess I jumped before reading based on the quality of the SMS Videos I bought.

Exactly, it works for a customized video but not for generic ones. People wouldn't be able to publish this on a site that have their names advertised on it without fully customizing the video which is kind of the reason for buying these cheaper videos.

I have purchased videos from you before however I feel the Dino DiCaprio thing is inappropriate. I will probably purchase it anyway and try to edit myself.  Just wish you had both options. Otherwise Great Job as always! |
