In Specific About Online Plagiarism

Simplifying the legal relationship between Copyright and Plagiarism, you'd just remember the following: Copyright laws worldwide do not protect the ideas, but they DO protect the way those ideas are expressed.

Thus if someone copies and pastes a text from a source "as is" WITHOUT the original writer's permission and in violation of the "Fair Use Doctrine" (in simple words again: copy an except for your needs, but always mention the copyright holder) then s/he is a copyright infringer.

On the other hand if someone uses the idea, say from an online articles that deals with web traffic, in order to create his/her own article, but used some exact phrases included to the original article, then s/he is a plagiarist.

I have this and have to say it works great!

I now check every article on my blogs to make sure my ghost writers don't copy and paste from other articles.

I have been using this Plugin too and it works great.

You can easily keep an eye on your posts to see if anyone is blatantly copying without leaving your dashboard.

The convenience factor of having this IN your blog makes this a must have plugin. It just makes the process so easy
