It sure is a great place to sell. It takes just minutes to create a Kindle listing once you researched your market and gathered your materials and from then on it is autopilot sales for years and years.

I was thinking of getting into Kindle a while ago
but I understand that people outside of the US
aren't able to be involved. I'm from Canada.

Has that changed yet?

Hi Jack,

You need a US bank account and an EIN or SSN to set up an account. So for international folks, they would need to do something like start a US corporation or LLC to get an EIN and such.

Probably too much work for the payback unless you had another reason to form a US entity.
