A quick response to your question and then a copy of a message/questions from another warrior that may be of interest.

Your question: What number of results for various keywords will your product work best for?

Response: I've seen these techniques work for highly competitive keywords where competing pages are as high as 100 million. For example, check out "free marketing articles" on Google. My site MarketingScoop.com shows in the first position and there are 122,000,000 competing pages. However, it took me longer than 30 days to achieve that position but now that I'm there, I have about 27,000 subscribers to my RSS feed.

Said another way, it works for any keyword phrase but the timing depends on competitiveness.

Additional Warrior Questions:

1. Yes, these techniques work for blogs. I have 10 different blogs and they all rank in the #1 or #2 position for my chosen keywords. Type in marketing blog and you will find my site and blog in the top position(s).... also "good marketing tips"... another one of my blogs and so on.

2. How long does it take? It all depends. For some individuals it can be achieved in less than 10 days. However, it depends on the competitiveness of the keyword phrase and how strong the other sites are that you are competing against (this is covered in full detail in the Webmasters Book of Secrets).

Just read through the ebook. It has detailed technique to optimise static website. It will be good if there is a section on how to optimise blog for instance using h1 to h3 tag on blog is not an option (it will make the formatting too ugly)

Thanks for the post. With your blog, the best way to change HTML is with your coding options. Wordpress and Blogger blogs have the functionality of letting you access HTML. If you are having difficulty with the actual formatting, than another way to achieve a similar outcome is to enlarge your title and place it in bold. Be sure that you limit the title to no more than 7 words and be sure to include your keyword phrase.

Give that a try and be sure to access your meta tags via the html feature. Again, as described in the ebook, format your tags properly using keywords, proper length, and the robots command.

I've 3 questions for you!

1. I have recently noticed that whenever I make some changes in pages or added new pages, my site goes off the ranking for some time. Many times it takes longer!

2. Secondly, I have also found that Google is not indexing modified or new pages so fast!

3. If I apply your SEO techniques, how soon I will get new site on top 10 ranking for competitive keywords say 3-4 million! just tentative time.

Hello Anees,

These are all excellent questions and I'd be happy to fill you in. In terms of your first question, I have experiences the same phenomenon with regard to my site listing completely disappearing from search results for days at a time. You're not crazy. This has been reported by many webmasters and is well documented online. Based on the data, my personal belief is that Google is tuning their algorithm and new sites are more prone to this disappearance than well established sites.

There really isn't a whole lot you can do about the disappearance. However, I do recommend a steady stream of backlinks to your website. Try article marketing... at least one a week on well ranked websites like ezinearticles.com. Make sure that the backlinks to your website are a little different but all use your keyword phrase.

As far as number two is concerned, I recommend manual submission to Google, Yahoo! and MSN The Google submission form is available at: http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl

In regard to your final question, a site that only has 3 or 4 millioin competing pages isn't all that difficult to dominate. However, there are many factors at play (all described in my ebook) including who is ranked 1, 2, and 3, the Google PRs of their pages, inbound links, etc. So, it's difficult for me to tell how long it would take to achieve #1 rankings without additional data.

Yes... I only teach white hat seo methods. Why? Because at one point in time, early in my career, I tried a number of "black hat" methods only to get the dreaded Google slap. The reality is that black hat methods only work short term. Eventually many if not all of them fail. Consistent application of sound SEO techniques (with a little twist) will get your further, faster, and for a longer period than most black hat techniques in my experience.
