So Dr. Ben there isn't a function to schedule text blasts to our clients subscribers. We have to do it manually at this time?

Thanks,

Looks like an awesome simple product.

Just had one quick question.

Can we set up a somewhat interactive text message campaign?

Like if someone texts our word to our number, can they receive a response that asks them a question and then just respond again with the answer?

then this info can be compiled to have more data on the subscriber but also create a more involved process for them.

Just curious about that.

I saw that the cross channel mojo launch had this kind of set up and it was pretty cool.

Some of the case studies had people charging $6k for set up and $1,500 a month to businesses for the service.

Anyway, still looks great and I'll prob get it either way lol

@Thirty3Down

How are current subscriber / re-subscriber handled. ie. messages like "you are already subscribed" or "welcome back!"

Or, they get first message again?

Thx,
Tim W.

Hello again Doc,
1.Is there a strong chance that you will add a scheduling component so that I/we can set up Joe'sPizza future text to his list in advance?

2. If a "STOP" comes in, can it be automatically deleted? If not, is that a potential update?

RJ
P.S. Thanks for the Thanks

Can't do anything that advanced yet.
You can check the msgs from inside Twilio but we don't have that inside the txtreply software just yet.

1) Not looking to add scheduling to this software. We want to keep this simple. If we see demand, we may build a feature rich text software down the road, but we want this one to stay super simple.

Hope that makes sense.

2) If stop comes in, of software unsubs them (you'll still see them in the list, but their number will be blacked out and they won't get any msgs).

Great Questions!
Hope that answers everything!

Well, if you want this to be a premium service, you MUST add scheduling. I signed up thinking that I could offer scheduling, but if it isn't an option, I'll have to move to a more robust solution.

Thanks!

Great fan of Dr. Ben Adkins's products ... I know we all have ideas for features that we may want to add, but this does fit the needs of a lot of marketers out there

I purchased TxtReply and the OTO and was up and running in less than two hours; signed up for Twilio, read the FAQs, watched the videos, etc. I set up a welcome text that works beautifully which takes about 15 - 30 seconds to reach my Verizon Android Phone. Being able to send Text Blasts this easy is the best idea since sliced bread. I am ready to rock!

In addition to the other Warriors, I would like you to add scheduling if at all possible. I just signed up the owner of a pizza place and a chinese restaurant and they both want their Weekly Text Blasts to be sent out on Friday Morning around 10:00am or 11:00am. Both of these owners have other friends that own restaurants they want me to see this week, so that is super cool!

(So far, it seems too easy. These guys really (and I mean really) wanted my help with Texting; they just did not know where to start, and they thought it was going to be too expensive. Both owners also think their friends are going to want Texting too.)

Anyways, if this really is as easy as it looks, and if I collect 10 - 15 - 20 restaurant clients that want me to send out Weekly Text Blasts for them on Fridays between 10:00am and 11:00, that means I will need to be at my computer during that time *every* week forever. No leaving early on Fridays. No vacations. No sick days. No excuses.

But if I could schedule all Weekly Text Blasts to go out on automatic pilot on Friday Mornings, simply because you added the scheduling feature; how cool could that be?

According to top of your Warrior Forum page, you said that you had 500 sales...

(You must have way more sales by now. I am meeting with the pizza guy in 3.5 hours, on a Sunday, since he wants to get going right away. When I get there, the first thing I am going to do is to recommend he purchase a copy of TxtReply for himself and I don't do well with affiliate sales. So if I can do it, anyone can do it.)

... anyways you said you would add scheduling if you received a demand for it. You now have permission from at least 500 people to contact them. Can you send an email blast to everyone and ask them if they want or need a scheduling feature? I will be happy to go with the majority rule, but I think everyone will say they want scheduling.

What do you say? Do any of these requests seem reasonable?

The scheduling feature is what makes the difference between having a "texting business" vs. the Pizza place doing their own thing and not need us as middle people. Like you said...success as a "texting business" is a trade off for our freedom. Adding scheduling would probably take the "simple" out of this script. Issues as far as time zones might be hair-raising and removing "simple" from the restructuring of the software.

We're going to look into the scheduling feature but know that we won't add any of that function until (or if we can) find a super simple and easy way to pull it off in the interface.

Add surveys and scheduling at least.

Our customers have told us that they love the simplicity of the app.
We will be making a few key updates but won't be adding scheduling or surveys.

Down the road we are planning a more feature rich text app, but txtreply is meant to be simple and elegant.

Thanks for the suggestion.
We'll be looking into these features future products.

Just an update on the scheduling request.
After polling a large percentage of our users, we have decided to keep scheduling out of this software as it would take away from the simplicity of the application.

I appreciate all the suggestions and help with feature ideas.
We will be updating and adding several of the main things that were suggested (moving the "stop text" into the main msg to cut down on msgs sent)
but the scheduling won't make the cut due customer preference.

Thanks to everyone that came to the mastermind and gave us feedback on this (simpicity of use was a big plus for those that we talked with and adding scheduling was something that would take away from this app).

Thank you all for being super cool and helping us shape this product with your suggestions.

Default Re: [Warning: Textual Activity] Offliner Kicks Open the Doors to His Dead Simple Text Marketing App.

Hi Dr Ben,

Sorry to deviate from the topic here but this is the only way I can reach you. I've written 5 emails to your email @imsecrets.org but have not received any response from you. Is there another email that I can write to?

Thanks...SarahRose

Hey Sarah,
So sorry!!!

We get so many emails each day that alot of it ends up in spam and sometimes we just miss it.

You can always get ahold of me via my help desk. I have full time staff on it and they relay everything to me.

(there is a 1800 number there too)

Thanks!
Looking forward to hearing from you!
