Cool looking script!

Quick question... I use aweber.

Do you know if the one click subscriptions are subject to double opt in or can they be single. And - are you able to immediately redirect them to the custom confirmation page for that new autoresponder they clicked on to subscribe to?

Hello Matt,

That is a good question.

To explain the Click subscriptions it is using the approach of sending the subscribe request by email. My assumption is that this needs to be used with care and is not a method of getting new subscribers but organizing existing subs.

So as with the example the initial optin is double optin at PurlWiz Demo

then the followup examples are single optin. I think I mention it in the video but that may be one of the ones I am working on. You can only use the click optin if you are using the name and email combo. (so you already know them)

but the process is when you click
details are recorded.
You are sent to the target page.
and an email is sent to the autoresponder you specify in the campaign.

So the responding actions from the autoresponder are as if you have emailed a subscription request.
For me this works best with single optin on that second level.

Hope that explains it.

PS: it could be a mailin list (auto reply) rather than a formal autoresponder as you will have the stats captured and can be exported into a CSV.

Hope I havn't confused you with options. LOL
