Will the theme work on an existing site?
Yes indeed - there is no special set up and configuration that makes any changes to your site other than the aesthetic look of the site.

Will there be updates?

You can easily change the home page by creating a custom page and setting it as a static page. The blog lay out is a standard layout but I've given you options of either installing the one sidebar or the two sidebar theme.

In addition I've included a sales template without the title or sidebar that you can use to create a unique home page using the many shortcode plugins out there.

Having the extended developer's license you are free to create and add your own templates to take the theme to the next level and truly make it your own if I did all the work you would have no room left for improving and re-branding right?

Yes there is a back end to the theme and its uncomplicated one.

You have the option to set a global theme color using the color picker.

Use your own logo

Set a header message with custom text color

Footer message with custom text color

Upload a background image or set a custom color

Upload or remove the header.

The slider when set above the content area using the text widget + shortcode uses the custom size you set in the backend.

You can choose not to have the slider - insert custom text, image or a video in the widget instead

You have the option to add the integrated click to call widget in the header instead of the site description or custom header message.

And you have the developer rights to extend and make the theme unique to you ofcours

When logged in you see the WPI WSO Dev link in the sidebar under the latest posts or click throught to the same title post on the home page.

You can also reach the download page via the WSO Dashboard which you should be redirected to upon log in.

I am unable to register. Keeps asking for a 'username' , which I have inserted

The username has to be all in small caps - the system will not accept a username with caps or spaces in it. Please try again and let me know if you are still having problems.

You can do this via PM with your Paypal email, email for registration plus your preferred username and password so that I can add you manually.

Used as is - No!

But I am giving you a developer's license with modification rights - once modified as stipulated in the license you may re-brand the theme including the footer. Ignore the 50% stipulation - I've included a modification hint PDF in the member's area - the suggested mods are about 15 to 30% which would give you re-brand rights!

What Zulfnore actually does is ripping-off free Themes, such as our Responsive Theme available for free on WordPress.org changing few colors around and selling them to the public.

This is just wrong and unacceptable thing to do. WarriorForum people like this are no benefit to your respectable forum and they should be banned.

I am not sure if the links will be allowed, but this is what he did:

I did notify him doing the same thing here, as well as PayPal.

Please don't allow people to sell what others offer for free.

WP Infinity Themes are actually Yoko Theme, barely modified also available on WordPress › Yoko « Free WordPress Themes and WP Smart Theme is Blaskan Theme, yes downloaded from WordPress › Blaskan « Free WordPress Themes where he changed the color from black to blue.

Come one man, do you have any clue how much of work is this, or how hard is to create Theme, keep them updated as well?

Don't sell Themes without major modifications, this is not ethical at all and it is against the GPL License.

You can sell them because every single one of them are GPL, but do us all a huge favor re-design before you start asking money.

I am truly hoping that administrators of this site will understand this very seriously and punish the deed.

As for the claims.....
1) I use WordPress and work within the realms the GPL license.

2) The themes club is NOT a WSO therefor raising it here on this threads is against the Forum rules. But let me add, the themes club will be based on the freely available Frameworks or those to which I have a license that allows me to modify them - the main part of the club will be of child theme orientation to which any Framework (paid or Free) allows me to create and deal with as I please. (Enuf said on this here) Members can contact me via the membership area - most of you have my personal direct email id.

3) I started work on this theme when TwentyEleven was released - the theme is based on the original default theme. Yes I will admit that I borrowed the themes options of Yoko which is freely available and under the GPL.

4) Somewhere else it was mentioned that WP Smart Theme is Blaskan - Yes it is based on the Blaskan theme but it is not part of the WP Infinity theme but was given as a bonus - again being a GPL theme the mods done were permissible and I could have charged for them.

Please take a close look at Yoko and WP Infinity and tell me that there are no major mods done - both Yoko and WP Infinity are based on the TwentyEleven theme and as admitted above WP Infninty's themes options is borrowed from Yoko so other than that please compare the functionality - had I totaly based WP Infinity or Yoko you will still find major mods and functionality between the two.

If I take the TwentyTen or TwentyEleven and modify them just like a lot of authors on ThemeForest do and Automatic has no issues with that why do you have a problem?

WSO threads are not the place for such discussions - you are welcome to create a separate thread in one of the open forums and I'll be glad to participate and discuss this and all other GPL/MIT matters.

Had already contacted a customer yesterday and they replied back within minutes telling me I sold them, using one of your latest themes.

Being the customer is a local city government office, did not want any copyright issues. That would be very bad for you and I.

I don't not how many Themes Zulfnore sold, nor how many customers are we talking about here, however if the Theme is GPL and there are no major modifications that is the gray area of GPL and against the guidelines. Person a) cannot take persons b) work which it was released under the GPL and change only an image and heading colors and claim that as its own work. That's the whole point here and the only reason why I reached out to this forum.

GPL allows you to modify, copy and distribute but with an a significant degree of difference between derivative and original work. Not to mention that every Theme must have all GPL-Compatible elements within the Theme such as images, JS etc.

From what I can see none of the Themes listed here met the bare minimums and they're bit far from being ready for sale, or even given for free to be honest with you.

Yoko is indeed based on GPL and is it even remotely similar to TwentyEleven? No, absolutely not and that's what I am trying to achieve here, complete difference, no visual similarities or being basically the same.
