If we're only submitting URLs without anchor text into this network, then how can these be classified as backlinks?

Unless this is a network of whois type of blogs?

No. This is a participation network.

Now I designed the plugin so that you do not have to install it on the site you are trying to build backlinks to.

There are plenty of networks and services that offer a feature where you do not have to participate.

I am sorry you did not find it that effective. I would be curious as to how you set up your links, where they went and what the site or pages were that they pointed to like.

As far as 'cheap', I am offering existing customers the SAME price and offering more features.

The links in the rotating widget are just one.

The links in the private blog network - permanent
The links from the RSS submissions - permanent
The links from the upcoming Twitter module - permanent

The 'real truth' is inaccurate. Do you use Infusionsoft?

They actually do support Paypal. It is one of the FEW payment processors they DO work with.

I am choosing not to use them. I could make it work, but I am not willing to risk my business.

I am not sure where you are getting your information Frank, but you are being misled or it is not being made clear.

Again, wrong. It does not come across as unnatural. It will depend on how the user decides to use the tool.

I have ALWAYS recommended that everyone create a plan, stick to it and have several tools in their tool box, with mine being ONE of them, not the only one.

Link diversity and velocity are still a factor.

If you are no longer interested in sticking with the plugin, I am sorry to see you go and would like to encourage you to stay and try this one - ON A PLAN at your original price (only available to you until Monday morning)

If you decide to part ways, I respect it and as you have, wish you the best.

This blog is over 30K private blogs and over 20K web 2.0 properties. NO, they are not whois sites.

It is still backlinks as they are submitted with anchor text that we choose.

I am redeveloping the entire network and API for it so that the user can choose their anchor text, but simply it was not ready and I did not want to wait another few weeks to release, I had been promising it for so long and always late.

I have not set a date yet and may not or may not have to.

It will remain open and running at least through the end of April.

Thank you for jumping in. We appreciate your loyalty and continued support.

The article feature has been removed. It is not mentioned int he sales page and I do explain it in the FAQ just under the sales page (on this thread). It was actually commented on in the thread also. I am sorry you missed it or for the confusion.

I am not sure why it would be running slowly. I will have the tech support look into that.

I assume you are not running BOTH the original ABC and the new ABC3K on the same site, right? That is a no-no.

The categories have been trimmed down. This is part of the feature upgrade to get better link distribution. We reworked the code (HUGE upgrade) to make sure when you submit links to the database for distribution, they get a better distribution than before. To make that even better we trimmed down the category choices.

What we have found is that for the search engines and anchor text sidebar links, they do not have to be too drilled down and super niche specific to be effective.

As an example:

The search engines want the internet to be like an ongoing "real" conversation.

So if anyone was having a conversation about clearing up the acne for their teenage son, will not have an entire conversation about specific cleansers, washing patterns, types of zits, defoliants...etc. It might also include laundry detergents and domestic cleaning routines and how diet also affects acne along with stress...

So it could easily fall into a "Personal" category.

Maybe not the best example, but you see where I am going with this.

Plus those that have been using this plugin for any length of time or remember the old thread know that I am pretty passionate about it and the users.

After spending a long time reviewing the 17 months of field practice of the original (what an amazing BETA test), I realized by having so many categories and specific categories, that some users were not getting the distribution they could have.

Why?

Because when the topic was drilled down or too specific, it was not chosen that often by other users as a category to display links from.

So the users choosing the drilled down and very niche specific categories were missing out on some possible distribution.

So, by changing that and reworking the algorithm for the distribution, everyone's links will get a better and more often distribution.

I hope that makes sense and answers your concerns.

There are so many ways to spread it out depending on everything else you have going on.

Some people will see results in days, others, the 6 weeks will just start to get them moving.

I had the same questions as ONEWOLF but I would think using ABC on secondary tier should be pretty safe. Not sure how effective though. I guess some of us will find out soon enough , but I sure wont install widgets on my best websites in case they get deindexed at some point.

Question to Greg, if I go for Platinum plan and down the road decide that I wont be able to use all the linkpower that come with it , can I downgrade to the lower plan at the same price it is available to me today, the existing customers price?
Honestly, I was never 100% happy with the results I got from 2.0 version ( running 2 accounts) and now that the ver 3 is here , I am thinking between either quit it all together , just like the fthomas137 up there did or go "all in" and get Platinum.
Anyone else having second thoughts?

Hello,

I can tell you this. We have taken steps, mostly by eliminating the additional powered by links in the original version and the articles feature. We have reworked some code as well in the new one.

The code there is now is nothing different than a blogroll links in any site.

I do primarily suggest to users to point most of their links to their tier 2+ properties and not point all of them to their home page.

And, in 17 months of real world experience with thousands of users and tens of thousands of sites in it, we have not experienced anything major or disheartening.

The service will be as effective as the user. Just like any tool. I have users who have tripled or more their income, have come into the new ABC buying 4 PLATINUM plans it works so well for them. No one spends that kind of money if it isn't working.

Compare it to using a reciprocating saw to remove the lug nuts from your car tire.

Not a good use of that resource.

So many factors go into 'if' the tool will work or 'time will tell'. It will tell. I can confidently say this, like you mentioned.

If you are using most of the resources to build backlinks to your backlinks, it will be HIGHLY effective.

If you follow basic SEO protocol, it will be effective.

To answer your questions:

Yes, I set it up so that those getting in will be in that price levels for the whole time they are a customer. Moving up or down.

I am planning on holding a webinar soon. I am slammed of course with the launch, but have already started making an outline.

If the plugin wasn't that effective for you, I encourage the time to go over the plugin training page and watch the videos, especially the one about "Best Practices".

The way it's shaping up, and I may change it, is I may do the Best Practices on "ROIDS" type of thing.

As people are sending in support tickets, I see many basic mistakes being made. Mostly from taking short cuts or being given wrong information.

Anyway, I think I answered the question.

Would love to see you in the new plugin. Grab the lower level and upgrade it later.

I have exported my link list from the old ABC plugin so that I can import in into the new one. However when I import the csv file into ABC 3K I get an error message saying: "Error in URL (second) column".

I have checked the csv file and cannot see any problems with any of the URLs.

You rock! thank you for that. I forgot to update the "title / date" of it. It is the most recent version.

BTW - since the plugin gets update notifications from my server, you will always know when there is a current version available. When you first install it, it will check and let you know right then, and when we update and release a new version, it sends a signal to all active plugins that an update is available.

I am a fan of having several tools in your tool box. The private blog network is over 50K, where over 20K is web 2.0 properties. We are now one tool in your toolbox.

I understand wanting to cut back and save money, but you have to weight it out.

Does this secondary service allow you to submit articles and in context links?

Then it might be worth keeping it and putting the URLs of those backlinks into ABC3K. Maybe even temporarily. Like give it a time frame of X months.

Of course, a lot of factors come to play and TELLING someone to spend their money is not something I am comfortable with. Asking you and leaving the choice up to you is different?

Yes. The way it is best described is (like Clickbank) the link creates a hoplink. It gets cookied at Infusionsoft first, send the visitor here. Then if they click the button, they go to my site. They choose a plan and click that buy now button. Since that button is hosted on Infusionsoft's servers, they can tell the cookie and credit the affiliate.

I would give it at least 2 weeks to let it get itself established. IMO. If you can push the month, then that is best.

YES, you can install the plugin anywhere there is a self hosted installation of Wordpress (except wordpress.com blogs).

Subdomains and sub directories are fine!

Two more question. How do I upgrade? I clicked on the upgrade button but it bring me to the buy it now page.

Also, i see that the BL index allow only 2000 urls and no delete button. If I use up the 2000 urls this month, does it mean that i will have another sets of 2000 urls to use next month?

I sent out an obnoxious amount of emails this week with a special link. I have closed the link since the official launch.

If you submit a support ticket I will create a temporary link for you to get it at the previous customer price.

Yes, the plugin will lead you to a buy now page. The way the payment processor works is you can't just truly 'upgrade' and be billed the difference.

You have to get a new account. It will give you a new Accesskey. Then I will go in and cancel your first account.

To do that submit a support ticket.

You will have to re upload your links.

YES, for the private blog network, the BL Index tab - you get that many to submit monthly.
