I was re-writing some of my blog posts in order to entice readers into becoming more involved on my sites when Mick offered a review copy of this course. It couldn't have come at a better time.

Now, I realize, writing blog posts to inspire action is a little different from writing a direct sales letter, which is what this course seems focused on. But I don't think it's so different that the principles don't apply. And there are a lot of copywriting principles to apply.

While the book is 260 pages there’s no need to be intimidated by its size. The font is proportionate for easy online reading. The lines are well spaced for note taking (should you choose to print it out). Also, there are several places with prompts for brainstorming.

In regards to the content, the topics are clearly laid out for easy reference. There are plenty of examples to help you understand how a method should be used. And following along you should have no problem creating a quick rough draft sales letter in perhaps an hour or less (minus reading time and depending on how well you know your target audience).

All together, this is a book/course meant to be used more so than read.

I got my hands on a review copy and have to say... I was blown away by the depth of this course! Nearly 300 pages of solid, sales-increasing, marketing-superstar info. Mick goes in depth about the link between the conscious and subconscious minds and how that link can dramatically increase your sales. He also gave the best description of NLP and how to slip it into your sales copy effortlessly.

This stuff truly does have the ability to turn you into a jedi-mind reader and "force" your target market to fork over their dough!

I'm surprised that there aren't more posts on this thread. One of the most important parts of selling is catching and keeping a persons attention with language that persuades them of the unique value within your particular product/service. This is true for pretty much any niche in the online and offline arenas.

I received a review copy of this and honestly didn't expect to get too much out of it. It seems that a lot of the persuasion materials just gloss over things that I've heard before (that the seller might not have actually tested out).

I have to say that this product rocked my socks off! Here's my breakdown:

MATERIALS

• 250+ page Main Guide
• Text Swipes
• Video Swipes
• Bonus 1: A very detailed video series
• Bonus 2: Some nice hand-holding

The main guide gives you the basics of structuring your sales pitches and then builds on that into more advanced strategies. The (surprise- WHOOPS ) bonuses are really worth 10x the price of this product alone.

MY OPINION

This should be a good product to focus you in on a solid strategy for creating your sales pitches (text and video). I plan to use this for some of my existing sales funnels, so I'll see if it works for me. I'm very hopeful based on the current testimonials and the amount of information provided within the materials. I've read exactly half of the main book and haven't even looked at the the other products included, but already my brain is thumping with new ideas I can't wait to implement into my sales copy!

I've read at least a dozen print books, and even more ebooks, on copywriting ... this is one of the best. Mick spells out some excellent psychological tactics, and puts it into easy-to-digest chunks that make it easy to understand.
