Just thinking, however, that it is a difficult time to release a rankings book with all the changes going on right now - and still forthcoming - by Google. Personally, I'm still doing a lot of testing and have found some ranking factors are still inconclusive, but I want to find out what Paul's up to here.

Thanks for kind words Angela! Yes, I created this guide so that anyone could easily understand it. About the changes, some people will always panic the moment they see threads come up. Just because one vendor goes down doesn’t mean the method is no longer working. I know this because I test on hundreds of my own sites each month to see what works and doesn’t. No matter what changes Google makes, SEO will always be a huge part in getting your sites ranked!

Lesson learned. I, personally am not buying any SEO product after the latest Google slap. Tricking Google has no long term benefits. Does this WSO talk about "shortcuts" and "tricks" or is it completely white hat SEO? In other words, does it comply with Google's guidelines?

I just read through the entire pdf and I must say it was a good read but, in light of the recent Google updates the pdf needs some updating. I'm sure it took quite awhile to put together and we are all still waiting for the dust to settle from the latest Google attacks but the product still mentions blog networks as a source for backlinks. Not only that but it even has SEO Link Monster mentioned which was hit hard shortly after launch due to the Google attacks on blog networks or paid links.
Overall it is a good primer for newbs looking to improve their SEO but for more advanced IM'ers this might not be worth it.
I will refrain from the whole money back guarantee just because I know Paul has been in the game for a long time and I like the idea that this wasn't a mad dash for the lowest price because it wasn't a dime sale. Thanks for the nice write up but, I hope their will be an update in the near future.

This is my unbiased review of Paul's SEO guide. I read through the entire 70 plus page guide last night and I must say Paul did an excellent job explaining the different aspects of SEO, the ebook was laid out nicely and you can really tell Paul didn't just slap something together like most WSO you find. I would recommend this guide to everyone as it teaches the principles and structure of SEO which is extremely important in ranking.

Kudos to you Paul for writing a very informative guide!

Here's my take on it. Since it came from Paul... and Angela had recommended it to all her customers, I bought it without any hesitation and without checking the reviews on other sites. But I was sadly surprised. After reading the first few pages of the book it's obvious that the main purpose of the book is affiliate links, hence the low price of the book. There's no "juicy" secrets or details. Nothing new. I must admit I'm quite saddened, b/c I did have respect for Paul. I feel duped. It's not worth reading and not even worth spending my worthless time on it...I should've taken a nap instead of reading this book.

In case you missed it, here's an excerpt from a book Paul might have read before writing this pdf


1) Get a bunch of affiliate links (CB is great for this b/c you only have to create one account, saving you time)
2) Write some content or have someone write it for you
3) Put the affiliate links into the content, the more the better
4) Come up with a killer name for your book
5) The price has to be ridiculously low - you're not making money off of the sale of the book, but from future affiliate commissions
6) Place it on the WSO of the week
7) Add an affiliate link to your thread...remember the more people will get hold of your book, the more you will earn
8) Hope for the best, expect the worst
