Although, proof would be nice to have or see, it just isn't a viable thing to expect. Proof of income, here or anywhere on the web, is too easily faked. eBay does have several categories for selling services on the site (web design, logo design, etc.) - and because most of the time, these things are delivered digitally, the rules are less restrictive in those categories.

Hi Angelwings1959, EBay actually does allow the sale of services. You just can't sale a downloadable E-book from within Ebay.

If you want to sell and Ebook you have to do that in the form of a Rewritable CD.

You can certain sale services on EBay. You have to deliver the product by way of email. EBay allows that.

EBay gives the buyer the option to actually delay payment to the seller to protect them from getting scam.

Actually I've had my eBay account since 2004. So, I don't have a limit on my account.

No, the category of service doesn't have a limit. I choose to put it at a limit of 10. I can make it more or just get an eBay store

It doesn't have to be your best email. Heck, you could even go and set up an email address just for that purpose. It only takes 1 minute or 2.

Afterwards, you could delete it or just ignore it.
