with respect,.. and not with any adverse or negative intent I would point out to you that your introductory video clearly points to a problem in that visitors to your site are prone to leave and watch your Youtube site videos on the Youtube.com site. You emphasise that in the video frame with image of the bucket of water that has holes in it. That I thought was the primary purpose of what your plugin was meant to prevent,.. i.e. the leaking of traffic to a 3rd party site!
In fact it doesn't take any ninja skills to locate the Youtube watermark link in your videos and its worth a mention that I do not possess 20/20 vision.

I really like the overall concept of your plugin and the fact that it disguises the links to Youtube in the embed code but the fact that at present anyone can still quite easily click on the watermarked link to watch on Youtube I feel is a major drawback. Fix that and you have something very worthwhile but unfixed,- it really just defeats the purpose IMHO. Surely it wouldn't be too difficult to incorporate the embed code parameter "modestbranding=1" to the effect that the logo is made invisible entirely?

one that best matches with your site.

6. HD High Definition
You can choose to play videos in High Definition.

7. Transparency Affect
You can now apply a special transparency affect on the player controls.

Hi Shawn! Yes, it's a video player. It doesn't create videos, it plays them in a web-page on your site. If you have a video file on your computer, you can upload it to your own hosting account and play it on your site using the Custom Video Player. And it's perfect for making YouTube videos look great!

My Review of the Custom Video Player

Disclaimer: I was given a copy of Custom Video Player to review by Matthew.

Overall I think Matthew has done a great job with CVP and it's clear that he's not done with further development yet.
One of my initial criticisms was that there was still a way for viewers to identify a Youtube video and to follow a watermarked link to the youtube.com site. That problem has since been rectified by way of a new option in the control panel which Matthew included within hours of my commenting on that.

There are several things I really like about CVP and so I'll list them below:
1) Quick and easy to install
2) Can be used on ANY site... not just Wordpress
3) Simple copy and paste of CVP code and you're ready to go
4) Very low cost compared to a similar WP plugin that starts at $97
5) The CVP code completely disguises the original video URL (I know of no other script that does that)
5) Developed by someone who is sincere and will continue to upgrade and develop

The CVP program works as described right out of the box,.. I tried to break it but was unsuccessful in that attempt.

Well done Matthew,..... at under twenty bucks (current price) this one is a steal,.. at anything under $47 it still is comparatively excellent value!

regarding the YT watermark:

Youtube give you advance parameter to turn it off, if you just do some google search you will find them...

now, i have not read the TOS, rather turn off YT watermark is right or wrong...

but if they give the option to turn it or on, I think they okay with it either way...

Hi Lewis! Personally, I am not aware of this causing any trouble. The YouTube hiding is just one of many features, and even though it's getting plenty of attention and makes a great title for the post, it's not the main feature. The main feature is to generate an unlimited number of stunning looking custom players on your own site, with your own embed code.

With the last update, you can now even custom design the players and create your own themes!

You can use an embedded video on the site, however the
license does not allow you to setup the embed code on other
peoples severs. You can however run the player on your own
site, and embed videos on other sites with your own sites
embed code. (you'de just have to keep the player on your own site).

Your other two suggestions are already on our list of requests, and
we will be looking at implementing these into a near future edition!

Everyone wants to cover their butts these days, that's why there's so much red-tape
and paperwork in running a business!! The same goes for the big boys like Google.

So the thread title might be a bit dramatic, but this software is a Video player, which
plays all types of video files, YouTube being one of them. There are many settings and custom

Installed it (actually, there is nothing to "install" - it's just a simple upload of some files, no WordPress plugin, no database nothing. Honestly if you need help with this then ask yourself why you are on the Warriorforum. Seriously.) and embedded the code - works like a breeze.

However I was still disappointed.

Yes, the script DOES hide the YouTube logo but at the cost of cropping the video or covering it with big bold player controls. And this means, that the text in my videos also get cropped or covered up - in other words... they become unreadable.

Also, I was hoping to find this cool shadow effect that is on your salesletter video but it seems I haven't discovered it yet... (or is this not part of this package? Can you help me out?)

So I think I have come closer to my goal of having a video for my blog home page with no player controls (or at least auto-hiding ones), that is not branded with any kind of logo (except MINE!), that does not have any black bars or is cropped in any way but fits 100% and has a nice shadow effect behind or below it. But I'm not quite there yet...

So part of me has my finger hovering over the "refund button". But then... this is a really cool service to offer from my website for clients (or so I think - does the license include this option?) and it generates even more cool backlinks. And you have also announced that with the next update it will be possible to custom size the videos. Any *maybe* one day you can do a real Houdini on the dreaded YouTube logo. Now THAT would be a real game changer...

These are all valid points. And, we are in the early stages of the development of the package. The approach here is to GIVE THE END USER the freedom to CHOOSE how
they want the video and content to appear. This package provides you with the tools,
and you can choose. If you want to be extremely careful, you could just use it to
create stunning video players and not cover up the logo. The Custom Video Player
gives you those options. Also, we are adding Vimeo, and there is already support

It's a video Player, which plays YouTube Videos and Direct Video Files (like mp4, mov, flv..).

Was just about to hit the sack for the night, when something VERY unexpected happened. A support ticket I sent in was returned and RESOLVED in 37 minutes!!!!

I'm not an impatient person and could have easily waited a few days for a response. As a product vendor myself I know things can take a bit if you are swamped with many tickets....but that was not the case here at all.

When I first found this product, I was one of the ones commenting on Matt's main page about the fact that I could still click on the YouTube logo. The only way I was even going to consider buying this was if I had the option to completely hide that logo. No reason to lose my traffic....should be MY choice.

Next thing ya know, Matt replied on there the very next day saying problem solved! Not only was that issue addressed but there were already more updates in place.

When a vendor takes immediate action like that to please his buyers and create a better product, I will ABSOLUTELY hold up my end and happily purchase the product!

I'm no FTP whiz and made an error when trying to upload to my hosting. Instead of possibly making things worse I used the support desk. My request was to add this product to 2 of my domains, with my chosen URL, and have both places password protected.

Imagine my shock when I'm about to log off for the night and see a new email popup titled: "Resolved Ticket"!!

A VERY huge THANK YOU to Matt and the ticket responder Denise for an insanely rapid response and resolution! Everything works great and I seriously could not be happier.

Have you been reading everything up above???? That issue was fixed. The YouTube logo can be completely hidden now. Viewers STAY on your site. No reason to not buy it and start using it.

As Shane Pointed It Out, This Has Been Resolved! You have full freedom to choose if you want to completely remove the youtube logo, you can, as I have done on the video page:
