when I create a shop for a client and set it into his/her FB Page, can I grant my client access to edit photos, products, prices, etc by him or herself?

Or will I have to make all the product updates by myself as a continuous service for them?

Just considering using the app as an FB eShops provider, not wp sites.

On facebook you just setup the app on a page, the actual content and all the editing must be on wordpress, and yes you can grant access to your customer to edit the shop, it's easy to do.

As standalone only on facebook it doesn't work.

I see my question was not clear nor complete. When granting access to my clients to their fbshops, do they access only their own accounts, or does it mean giving them access to my server, wp installation, website or whatever other than strictly their own accounts?

It´s quite obvious but I wanted to make it clear anyway.

There is problem with footer part of ecommerce shop, I cant see the next step button to proceed frm step 1 to step 2 at checkout. Later i found out i have to ,minimize the size of the comments box inorder to see the next step button. So please do something abt it. This Plugin is great.

Anyone facing similar probs?

Hello,

You only need to grant access to wordpress to your client. (of course after you setup the store on wp and facebook app and page)

From there they can do any operation, there's no need of facebook access, to your server and so on.

The client can have his own account, but with administration privileges in order to modify content.

You can sell independent amazon products, add an unlimited number, and when user clicks on add to cart button they will be redirected to the actual product on amazon (not add the product to cart on amazon)

About your other question, I don't see any reason why the hosting company would suspend your account, even if there would be lots of CPU resources utilized.

No you don't need an local business page, it's OK for you to sell from a personal page if you wanted to. Either way works OK.

Hello, I bought this plugin and need some help, everything is new to me and I’m new to IM (so please be patient with me). Ok, can anyone of you answer the following 2 questions with full clarity please;

1. This is very important to me. I do not want to use Paypal for checkout for receiving payments (to me they are not a reliable method and have history of messing up accounts at any given time without giving you any valid reason, it happened to me with one of my business). And, instead I want to use other vendors of my choice like maybe Amazon, clickbank, National Cash Management Systems (NCMS), etc.

So, is there any way we can get some suggestions and codes from you that we can use to change the vendor for receiving payments from paypal to other vendors of our choice (I’m sure they will give their codes assigned to us). I would rather give multiple (3-4) choices of vendors as examples shown above (without paypal), and whichever method the buyers want to use they will have those choices.

2. I also wanted make sure and understand that this plugin is not only going work in facebook as a website within their site so the fans will never have to go outside of fb to shop there?
And, it will also work as a wordpress website outside of facebook as a standalone website, is that correct? I’ve copied and pasted below a post (that alcbiz asked and lowkey786 replied), I saw this in the first page of your wso offer. We have avaliable 2 payment methods except paypal, bank wire transfer and COD (cash on delivery). It's quite hard to integrate custom payment methods like the ones you gave example. But we do make custom work, and if you want a certain method it can be integrated.

(1). so what would be the process to replace paypal with other multiple providers so that my customers will have several methods to pay instead of paypal. I will still keep the bank wire transfer method and the COD for possible international customers. Those methods are not widely used or popular in United States. But, I believe just by able to provide choices of several payment methods for checkout will increase the feasibility strictly from a business point of view.

(2). On the second issue, if I want I can build a website with your Fb ecommerce plugin on a sub-domain on wordpress ( since my customers will have to come through Facebook in your system), and if I want a standalone website build on wordpress or any other platform, then I can use my regular domain, so I can drive customers from other marketing sources to the standalone ecommerce shop, is that how it works better?

I will also contact you at your support forum and discuss the possibility of being able to remove and replace paypal and customize other providers instead. Thanks a lot.

Hi, yes you will need a domain and hosting in order for this to work because you'll be installing the plugin on wordpress. It's up to you whether you want to charge your client for the hosting and domain. And YES, for the promotions of the bookstore, you only need the facebook URL of the store, so that would be the main page you direct visitors.
