About two weeks ago on one of my autoblogs with very little traffic I noticed something interesting…out of the 20 people that arrived there that day, 5 of them were for the same page…the rest were all longtails. I checked it out, and it was a news report about Cityville being released.

Thinking to myself…gee…I’ve heard of petville, and I know how popular it can be. Well…I started by grabbing a bunch of petville keywords off of scrapebox, and changing them to cityville instead. I then dumped those into a wprobot campaign on the blog, and forgot about it.

The next evening I noticed that my little blog that was getting 20 uniques a day, had just jumped up to nearly 400 uniques! Diving into the stats, it was immediately clear that this was ALL cityville traffic. I don’t even have a cityville domain here…and it’s pulling in traffic like mad.

A few days later I got the chance to play with a really neat tool developed by Hudson at wpblackhat. It is called WordPress Traffic Tools. As I was setting up cookie profiles on another one of my domains…I noticed the redirection profiles. The redirection profiles allow you to redirect non-spider search traffic to other URLS depending on either a keyword in the post, or the postid…or both.

I slapped it up on my autoblog that just started receiving cityville traffic, and pointed a redirection profile towards a clickbank cityville cash guide offer. Using the keyword ‘cityville’….so human traffic gets 302′d to the offer landing page if they try and view any of my posts that contain the word ‘cityville’.

Any limitation on how many WP sites I can use?

No limitation at all. You can use on all your sites. I keep a copy installed on all mine and they're all registered under the same license and whenever I'm installing on a new site I just click the license key and email inputs, press the down arrow to select the data in my history prompt, click activate and it's smooth sailing from there.


Can I redirect depending on the traffic source? For example if a visitor comes from clicking a link in a youtube video description they get taken to a specific page with this plugin......

Yes you can do that. We do that by setting up conditional redirects targeting keywords in the referrer. For your case you would target traffic coming from referrers containing the keyword 'youtube.com' or simply 'youtube'.

I can sell a site with the plug in installed on it?

If you transfer ownership of a site to another person then you would have to ask them to purchase a new license. This mostly is required so that I can help your client as a customer and keep them informed of new updates and offer them customer support. But, if you have a special operation contact me! I am willing to sell a commercial development license at an increased price, depending on the scale of the operation.

Hey Hudson, thanks for the great plugin. I’ve got to say my two favorite features are:

1) Link cloaking. I have a few sites that require a lot of different affiliate links, and this feature makes it so easy to add or change “pretty links” quickly and easily.
2) The ability to use tokens in the Ad Management feature, which allow me to create dynamic ads.

Also, I’d be doing you a disservice if I didn’t mention how much I love the overall flexibility that’s built into WP Traffic Tools. The ability to use global settings but make exceptions on a post-by-post basis, makes this one of the most user friendly plugins I own.

WP traffic tools is one of the BEST plugins you will come across. It is much better than plugins like cloakpig (or cloak.fm) and alike. There are so many features packed into this plugin that you wouldn't even have imagined.

Hudson is responsive as well, has updated the plugin numerous times and listens to user feedback. If you have a feature request - just tell him. Being a full time programmer doesn't mean you cannot listen to your customers and answer them personally. Great support and great plugin. In the past month there were a lot of pretty useful features added and normally this plugin sells for way more than any warrior is paying.

I cannot recommend the plugin highly enough.

Let me just say one more thing: i do not get any benefit for telling you this, it is just my honest opinion. I am not affiliated with Hudson, i don't gain anything other than a 'thank you' underneath this post. So if you are looking for a very advanced solution for your wordpress blog - you've come to the right place.

I have my own set of plugins to do most everything I need, but I am buying Hudson's package anyway.

He has some things I do not.

If you are an advanced blogger, this is a perfect suite for you.

If you are a noob, there is a learning curve to everything he has going here, even though it not insurmountable with enough practice AND TIME INVESTMENT IN YOUR BUSINESS.

And at this price, it's a stupid no brainer, even if you have to let it set on your hard drive till you are ready use it later, when you have more time.

Well what can I say You would be a mug not to buy this WSO at this price - I paid close to the full going price for this plugin (x3 on this WSO price) as the features were ridiculously powerful and all in one package.

It works well and the developer keeps improving it @ no cost to me. (no fees, no upgrade costs) Free

If you drop him an email he gets back quickly and you get intelligent answers that fully answer the question (Rare).

He has another plugin BlogSenseWP - Content Automation Platform for Wordpress and it is fantastic too, I bought this one as well once I realised what it could do. I also researched Hudson support and looked back through the warrior posts noting how he kept updating the software and posting regular updates here on the WF. Just check out the support on this post 2 years+ of posts and upgrades - for the one time fee??? - no brainer

Now I don't know about the rest of you - but I am sick of buying stuff that stops working after a few months, with sellers that have more AKA's than international art thieves, so I decided to buy the WP Traffic Tools plugin first and on the back of its stellar performance, I purchased Blogsense WP after that - I haven't looked back.

The best money I have spent on wordpress in a long time.

Hudson is a genius...

I would much rather just be able to buy a tiny "sliver" of his mad scientist super genius brain and stuff it in my head.

Certainly that alone would raise my IQ a point or two...!

Plus he supports his projects LONG TERM! This isn't one of those plugins where you buy it and then NEVER get an update... ever...

He updates them all the time (whenever needed) and if you need help with something, he is ALWAYS super eager to help.

Really... you can't go wrong with this purchase in my opinion.

I use Hudsons products and I love them! In fact he stopped me DEAD in my tracks... I was going to build just a "Small Portion" of the functionality of this plugin but I didn't even need to.

I just grabbed WP Traffic Tools... It does EVERYTHING I wanted to do and honestly, more than I will probably ever need lol!

So, a question about these testimonials. You've clearly structured them to appear like they've come from other Warriors, but many of the supposed usernames do not exist here, and some of the others are registered accounts with zero posts. That seems a bit questionable to me.

It's not my intention to make my testimonials appear as all warrior members but I don't mind if people believe that either. But they're not! Full disclosure! Some of them are though!

These are testimonials I've collected from a handful of different locations, both public forums and private forums, and from my sales page's testimonial section where users can submit at their will. It's not until recently that I've moved this product out of the private forums and into the public arena (Wp Traffic Tools has been around for over two years now).

I also sent out an email asking customers for support, letting them know about my WSO, so users with good words and a low post count most likely have registered and posted on my behalf. I'm very appreciative too.

Although I don't post much, I just wanted to chime in since Hudson seems to be getting some flack. It's sad that some of the best offerings on WF slip through the cracks, while some of the worst rehashed crap gets praised.

I myself, have been using this plugin for almost a year. Both the plugin and Hudson are the real deal.

It's rare now, but you are actually dealing with the developer and programmer. Where others don't know a lick of coding, this guy does. He is also responsive to questions and to adding requested features.

If you noticed above, he has now made this plugin available in seven or so modules. Each module could replace a premium plugin (and sometimes even two). I'd name a few, but a lot of them are/were WSOs here (some of which you never hear from the seller again).

In all honesty, I don't even get to use all the features/modules because I'm always playing catch up to new feature releases.

One caveat, there is a learning curve. If you think just installing this plugin will give you the magic bullet to riches. Think again. If you are willing to do work to tweak and squeeze every cent out of your site's traffic, then it is worth a go.

The use of those testimonials aside...I can vouch for Hudson's online integrity. His products and customer service are top notch. If you have any issues with his products he's always on top of things making sure any issues are resolved asap.

I've used his other product, blogsensewp, and it's one of the most powerful plugins out there for not just autoblogging but blog management.

If you make money with your wp sites or plan to...I highly recommend this tool. Nothing else out there compares.

Hudson is a genius...

I would much rather just be able to buy a tiny "sliver" of his mad scientist super genius brain and stuff it in my head.

Certainly that alone would raise my IQ a point or two...!

Plus he supports his projects LONG TERM! This isn't one of those plugins where you buy it and then NEVER get an update... ever...

He updates them all the time (whenever needed) and if you need help with something, he is ALWAYS super eager to help.

Really... you can't go wrong with this purchase in my opinion.

I use Hudsons products and I love them! In fact he stopped me DEAD in my tracks... I was going to build just a "Small Portion" of the functionality of this plugin but I didn't even need to.

I just grabbed WP Traffic Tools... It does EVERYTHING I wanted to do and honestly, more than I will probably ever need lol!

That is how this plugin is... it has SO much value and does SO much it puts a 1/2 dozen other plugins into extinction.

Well what can I say You would be a mug not to buy this WSO at this price - I paid close to the full going price for this plugin (x3 on this WSO price) as the features were ridiculously powerful and all in one package.

It works well and the developer keeps improving it @ no cost to me. (no fees, no upgrade costs) Free

If you drop him an email he gets back quickly and you get intelligent answers that fully answer the question (Rare).

He has another plugin BlogSenseWP - Content Automation Platform for Wordpress and it is fantastic too, I bought this one as well once I realised what it could do. I also researched Hudson support and looked back through the warrior posts noting how he kept updating the software and posting regular updates here on the WF. Just check out the support on this post 2 years+ of posts and upgrades - for the one time fee??? - no brainer

Now I don't know about the rest of you - but I am sick of buying stuff that stops working after a few months, with sellers that have more AKA's than international art thieves, so I decided to buy the WP Traffic Tools plugin first and on the back of its stellar performance, I purchased Blogsense WP after that - I haven't looked back.

The best money I have spent on wordpress in a long time.

I have my own set of plugins to do most everything I need, but I am buying Hudson's package anyway.

He has some things I do not.

If you are an advanced blogger, this is a perfect suite for you.

If you are a noob, there is a learning curve to everything he has going here, even though it not insurmountable with enough practice AND TIME INVESTMENT IN YOUR BUSINESS.

And at this price, it's a stupid no brainer, even if you have to let it set on your hard drive till you are ready use it later, when you have more time.

I did buy this plugin quite some time ago. Let me tell you:

WP traffic tools is one of the BEST plugins you will come across. It is much better than plugins like cloakpig (or cloak.fm) and alike. There are so many features packed into this plugin that you wouldn't even have imagined.

Hudson is responsive as well, has updated the plugin numerous times and listens to user feedback. If you have a feature request - just tell him. Being a full time programmer doesn't mean you cannot listen to your customers and answer them personally. Great support and great plugin. In the past month there were a lot of pretty useful features added and normally this plugin sells for way more than any warrior is paying.

I cannot recommend the plugin highly enough.

Let me just say one more thing: i do not get any benefit for telling you this, it is just my honest opinion. I am not affiliated with Hudson, i don't gain anything other than a 'thank you' underneath this post. So if you are looking for a very advanced solution for your wordpress blog - you've come to the right place.

As its in the Minecraft niche products are very limited for this gamers topic, would your plugin be any good for this niche do you think, also can it be set up for adsense too?

Hey Mick,

Sure, you might could redirect traffic to a page of yours that's better monetized to the other, or to a CPA offer related to the game. You could also use the ad management module to help place your adsense blocks.

Hudson, how much stress/extra load... does the plugin place on WP and MySQL database calls for each page load? I try to keep the plugins to a minimum, around 6 or 7, but even that number slows page loads.

Hello Jan,

At first it did a little but the plugin's been compartmentalized and had other improvements here to increase the speed. We can disable the modules we're not using and their php files won't load.

Everything works really fast except the cookie module can add an extra second to the load completion time. I've been pleased and surprised how well everything has worked out though.

We use some jquery to place ads in widgets, and we use wordpress hooks to place ads in content. I've worked with a customer who used and experienced oddities with wp super cache though I want to say he was able to solve his issue. I'll keep an eye out for the thread/customer service ticket and post it here if I find it.

This plugin is jam packed with features and is constantly updated. I have used this plugin well over a year. Most plugins or software that are sold here as a WSO are mostly churn and burns and become obsolete cos the sole purpose is to make fast cash. This plugin is different, Hudson has his own forum for this plugin and some of his other products where he continually provides support for it.

This is one WSO that i seriously and highly recommend and people should get this now........seriously, this is one hell of a plugin and will seriously make you money

404 Handling: Smart 404 section gets option to 'redirect tag archives to a related post'.

Here's my reasoning: For some reason Google is creating tag archives on sites that have no posts for those tags. These tag archives pull in keyword targeted traffic but does not serve the traffic any related posts! So in order to better serve traffic I'm redirecting all tag traffic to a related post and if none exists then running a generic search on the tag. Redirects will not occur for spiders. Redirects will not occur for users searching tag archives within the site.


Redirect Module: Redirections by negative keyword.

For the redirect module; If we wanted to redirect all traffic that arrives outside of Google and keep Google traffic arriving at the original destination we would use ?!google? as our keyword:


Link Module: Append URL parameters onto masked links.

If you create a masked link and want to append some ?name=parameters onto it and have those params pass over to the redirect URL, we can now.


Redirection Module: Iframe the redirection target

WP Traffic Tools provides the ability to iframe a redirect destination in the same page that the redirect condition is placed on. This, if enabled, will retain the original page's URL in the address bar while displaying the final destination in the post body content.

An important note: Some website's cookies will not load properly when the site is loaded in an iframe. Double check if you are working with affiliate URLs! To get around this issue you may can use a WPTT's cookie module to manually stuff the cookie of the affiliate URL on the same page the redirect is occurring. I've not tested this though.


Link Management Module - Link rotation rotates true now.

Before we selected from pool of URLs randomly. Now we rotate sequentially. This can be used to control % of links fired by stacking the same link multiple time. FE: 9 bing.coms and 1 google.com would send 90% of the traffic to bing, 10% to google.
