To be 100% honest we don't really cover the Warrior Forum or the other Market places, we do recommend that you list it on WF, and we talk about using services like Digi Results, but the main focus is getting the plugin prepped to the stage you can build it efficiently, and without hassle. and how problematic is it dealing with customers over bugs in the plugin etc., over time...we would have to address those to the programmer and go back and forth?

Hi there,

I'll answer this for Sean, Yes we do mention our strategy that we use to come up with plugin ideas. Is it in the detail you are looking for probably not. We focus more on our overall strategy to get the plugin in a position where it is ready to be built rock solid, without any problems, confusions, and most importantly it's cost efficient.

To answer you second question, I do not know very many people that are building these plugins in the way we are doing so. Hopefully that helps

Well, I would say that you are looking at one the largest markets on the internet right here in Warrior Forum. Most folks want and need various types of seo plugins, posting plugins and items that make their blogs function better or provide a service like post syndication. You could take a few good product launches that have occurred so far just this year and they were based around a nice piece of software that built backlinks or syndicated article snippets to various web 2.0 properties.

The tutorials that you will get have some of the research methods and ways to find out what is hot in the market, apply your own twist, and come up with features that will make your plugin stand out from the crowd. This I know is taught in the course as I watched it being built.

I have also watched the very same skype rooms with the plugin developers and witnessed the production of many plugins. Some of these will be revealed at a later date and I cannot disclose the type or names of any, that is not my place. All I can say is that these products development follow the very same training and guidelines that you will be getting in this course. I have learned a lot from just sitting and reading the skype scrolls. I also was able to view the video before launch and I was pleased to learn even more.

From what I have learned from Sean and Chad on this subject, I am confident that I will at least be able to put my ideas down in a text file, and then build the visual photoshop mockup or psd for the developers to get the mental picture of what I am trying to accomplish. I may do just that fairly soon, and add it to a course or a standalone product for sale. Some really great product launches have already taken place this year, and some of them have far surpassed the $100k mark. I have learned tricks of the trade from these guys, and I don't feel so much a no0b now when it comes to haggling on the price point of a particular project.

If you follow the steps and the safety guidelines in the course when dealing with people from another country other than the US where we have our business, you should be able to proceed with a lot of the fear taken out of the equation. I hope this answers this question and maybe others that folks on the fence were waiting for.

But to give you a hint, think where others sell plugins, Clickbank, JVZoo, Digiresults. We cover getting JVs to help you market your plugins and much more...

Not really, think about this. How fast does the marketing scene and the Internet change... Almost daily. There are lots of ways you can apply this. Heck I have about dozens of new ideas every week for plugins. All you have to do is follow what we suggest, fill a need and your plugin could generate a 6-figure automated income!

I am sure you can come up with at least one idea for a plugin

Also, one other thing to note... your competitors are your best JV partners for the future... they have massive targeted lists with HUNGRY wordpress users who "BUY" plugins... That is a huge opportunity!

Do we get free updates for life? As the vendor,how do we arrange free updates. Does the developer we use provide these? At what cost? How do we get a guarantee from the developer that they will do the updates

What about glitches in the plugin. Who fixes these?

Many prospective buyers suggest additions to the plugins Many times, these suggestions are very good and taken up by the vendor with updates. Look at people like Alex Safie, Andy Fletcher, Andy Black etc. Some of the suggestions are quite complex and not easily understood by a novice seller.

You must have an understanding with the programmer of what types of bugs are part of their contract.

That is why I prefer to hire full time programmers as opposed to the Houdini's on the programmer freelance sites. If you don't hire them, they are off to the next project so they can feed their family and you will be out in the cold with a broken product.

And forget trying to get someone else to take over the code, because most of these guys don't document their code worth a damn and many times it must be totally re-written even though it is in the same language.

It isn't easy by any stretch of the imagination, but it can be done if you are patient and meticulous. And I mean for any kind of software, not just plugins.

Honestly, We haven't had a lot of refunds. The few that I have been able to deal with I've got to know them personally, and for the most part I was told this is just over my head. We tried to build this with the beginner as well as the most experienced in mind. So if a refund comes through, got it covered. As far as the OTO, I don't get it. People are placing orders with the OTO, but then there are those that say they never saw it. I can't put my finger on it. Appreciate your concern

Hey Ana,
Sent you a PM, not sure if you got it. We do cover how to build your plugins to be rock solid, as to prevent minimal bugs. However with wordpress updates, and all the changes online their are sometimes modifications that are necessary to make in the plugins. We make sure we have a contract with our developers that state they are responsible for maintenance and upgrades. In some cases we may need to set up a small maintenance fee for the developer. Hope that helps.
