One thing you need to check urgently - place some audio online and check that there's no chipmunk sounds from the recent hassles (like in Camtasia).

David is right... there are a few problems with the web audio plus players that in my opinion makes them the worst audio players on the planet. They do not stream but rather force the entire file to download before the audio buttons are even visible and before the audio will play. With longer files this can pose some problems since it can take a while for them to load. Additionally you have the chipmunks David mentioned.

Additionally your WSO may be violation of the WSO forum rules because Web Audio Plus, the main product in your offer, is resale rights software and not your own product:

About your comment above...I know how you feel and I always believe in benefit of the doubt because I've been in both situations before with WSOs ie. WSO owner and posted an innocent comment that got mis-interpreted - I did apologize to the fellow Warrior and have since learnt a valuable lesson - It doesn't matter what my intent might have been ...it's the message the receiver gets that really matters!

Josh is considered a 'known quantity' in the is world of web audio but people do make their own judgments on whether to buy or not. Plus, your offer is exposed to high traffic levels here in the WF and outside and if it carries weight it will do well.

That is not my reason for posting...

My reason for poisting is to do due dilligence and verify the licenses of the copyrighted work you are reselling resale rights to that you did not originally create.

This is what every smart buyer should do because if they don't they face possible copyright violations without knowing it.

I expect professionals to not only do the due dilligence before making such offers but also to provide the license from the original source (copyright holder) of the works that they are offering resale rights to.

Also because you created a wso with a resale rights product as the main product and it included other resale rights products... essentially your WSO was not for your own product as required by the forum.

My interest was based that It seemed like a good offer for the other items but I, like other potential buyers, need to verify that the items are not only properly licensed but that you are able to provide the contact info or source license from the original copyright owner of the works you are selling and offering resale rights to.

None of this is meant to discredit your WSO. These are just things that resellers must do to keep themselves out of legal trouble.

Since I am an interested buyer... I am interested in avoiding copyright issues... and as you explained you are not the original copyright owner of many of the works you are offering resale rights to so my questions are very pertinant not just for my own purchase but also anyone considering your offer.

Simply put this is called "due dilligence" which all professionals considering buying resale rights must do to protect themselves against other legal liabilities.

It's not something you should take offense to. Its something that as a reseller you need to be prepared to answer since I and other interested buyers do need to know.

It has nothing to do with you competing with me in my own business... because frankly competition is a sign of a healthy market but I don't really consider this to be competition...

Something you have forgotten is that this is a discussion forum... including the WSO area.

We may not agree about whether this should be asked or discussed publicly but I am sure we can all agree that the questions regarding source of the original copyright and written license verification from the original copyright owner should be asked by every potential reseller.

Also note that in far to many wso offers in the past sellers offered items for sale containing content that they were not the original copyright owner of and the buyers did not ask to verify the license of those items.

Recently in the main forum one reseller found himself having to explain why he was selling people resale rights to items that contained components that were not properly licensed and were infringing on copyright.

It turned out that seller had purchased the master resale rights off another WSO where the creator of that WSO had hired someone to create the product and that person had used copyrighted materials that were not properly licensed.

The reseller had to refund all their clients and the original WSO seller had to recreate the original package and months later send updates to all the resellers many of whom had been mistakenly reselling copyrighted materials.

The came circumstance recently happend when Joel Comm and Eric Holmlund promoted resale products that they failed to do due diligence on when they had them created.

This is so common here in the WSO forum and in IM in general that many warriors, not just myself, now by default publicly request confirmation of who is the original copyright owner and whether the original copyright owners license for any materials used has been sourced, confirmed, and can be produced by the person making the offer.

There is nothing unprofessional about this kind of due dilligence.

In fact a non defensive stance and clear answer and confirmation from the seller in response to these type of questions actually will boost your conversion rate.

It is far better to publicly ask and get answers to these questions publicly than to wait and receive legal letters later from copyright owners because you failed to do the due dilligence.

There was once a WSO sold in this forum for software containing copyrighted materials sold with master resale rights...

Each person found selling this software or using its content on their site was sent a demand from an Attorney requiring the payment of $3000 in order to avoid a law suit.

They were forced to pay it because the infringing content in question was actually owned by the Attorney who also happened to be a warrior.

If any one looks at my original post you will see it contained a suggestion on how to bring the WSO into compliance with the stated WSO rules and nothing but an honest inquiry designed to answer necessary questions to protect myself and other resellers from legal liability. It would be irresponsible to resell anything without first getting the answers to those questions in the first place.

The best approach is to simply and quickly answer important questions like these and not to get offended by them or to debate them.

I guarantee you I am not the only warrior who wants to know answers to these type of questions before I buy stuff :-)

If any one looks at my original post you will see it contained a suggestion on how to bring the WSO into compliance with the stated WSO rules and nothing but an honest inquiry designed to answer necessary questions to protect myself and other resellers from legal liability. It would be irresponsible to resell anything without first getting the answers to those questions in the first place.

The best approach is to simply and quickly answer important questions like these and not to get offended by them or to debate them.

I guarantee you I am not the only warrior who wants to know answers to these type of questions before I buy stuff :-)

Having said that I did purchase this wso because I thought that the verified original content being offered has to be worth the price many times over.

Recently in the main forum one reseller found himself having to explain why he was selling people resale rights to items that contained components that were not properly licensed and were infringing on copyright.

It turned out that seller had purchased the master resale rights off another WSO where the creator of that WSO had hired someone to create the product and that person had used copyrighted materials that were not properly licensed.

The reseller had to refund all their clients and the original WSO seller had to recreate the original package and months later send updates to all the resellers many of whom had been mistakenly reselling copyrighted materials.

The came circumstance recently happend when Joel Comm and Eric Holmlund promoted resale products that they failed to do due diligence on when they had them created.

This is so common here in the WSO forum and in IM in general that many warriors, not just myself, now by default publicly request confirmation of who is the original copyright owner and whether the original copyright owners license for any materials used has been sourced, confirmed, and can be produced by the person making the offer.

There is nothing unprofessional about this kind of due dilligence.

In fact a non defensive stance and clear answer and confirmation from the seller in response to these type of questions actually will boost your conversion rate.

It is far better to publicly ask and get answers to these questions publicly than to wait and receive legal letters later from copyright owners because you failed to do the due dilligence.

There was once a WSO sold in this forum for software containing copyrighted materials sold with master resale rights...

Each person found selling this software or using its content on their site was sent a demand from an Attorney requiring the payment of $3000 in order to avoid a law suit.

They were forced to pay it because the infringing content in question was actually owned by the Attorney who also happened to be a warrior.

As for the question on creating a WSO where the main products being offered are resale rights products we can just refer to Allen's own rules for that:

The point you're making about asking good questions for MRR and PLR is crystal clear and I agree with you 100%. I know you're heart is in the right place about that issue and I hope warriors that are new to the forum realize the importance about buying and selling products that are not their own.

My point is simply that you came across as insulting or rude by the words you chose to address the issues. I think your heart is in the right place, but our words impact people when they sound like the issue is more personal than business.

I appreciate you taking the time to clarify your passion about protecting people from lawsuits and headaches, I just hope you'll hear my advice as someone that's made the same mistake more than once and hopes we can both learn from it.

Yes, you are right... sometimes it is hard to discern my countenance through my matter of fact way of writing. Sometimes I come off abrasive and for that I apologize.

Btw... the bonus for this WSO is worth buying it alone. It is quite a bonus.
