Quite simply - I don't undertsand the point of this, though I am open to being wrong.

I have several sites containing images which appear on Google Images results' first page. I even have one site from where the keyword creates the Number 1 and Number 2 positions on Google Image search first page.

But so what? No-one is going to click on a local service site because they like the pretty photo/image.

I honestly cannot see how getting images ranked on Google's Image first page can create the kinds of substantial buying traffic you claim.

Would you kindly explain why I am wrong?

Hi Ray.

It depends on the type of business you are targeting. For example, restaurants and cake makers and offline business owners that rely on images get a ton of traffic just from images.

We have a site we did for a car rental company and most traffic is from the image. When people search for an image they will then click on the actual image and be directed to the site itself.

You would be surprised but we have worked with lots of business owners who are happy to have their image rank on page 1 and pay us for this. You can always add more value to the service by offering an additional service.

If a business owner sees that their image is on first page for a popular keyword they will love you for it

If I were looking to eat out I wouldn't search Google Images ... I am amazed that other people apparently do.

Is it a paid for plugin or free?

Can the system work without the plugin or does everything hinge on having the plugin installed on a wp site?

The plug in is a paid one.

The system can still be done WITHOUT plug in but I recommend the plug in because it is powerful and makes the system easy.

The plug in can be done on your own site and can also be installed on your client's website.

However, I have to stress - the PLUG in is OPTIONAL!

I thought this might be a unique, little known, method for ranking images but in my opinion it's a very poor rehash of existing (free!) information anyone can get by searching "how to rank an image in google" in google search. I can't believe so many warriors are singing this guides praises!

I was intrigued by the copy so unfortunately I bought the guide and immediately cringed at the introduction which states 'My name is Zesh “The Offline Guvnor and I am an offline marketing constant.'

The plugin you hint at in the copy is $47 - $97! And it's not even specific to ranking images but generic to onpage SEO.

Recommending that everyone move to wordpress is commendable but entirely impractical and suggesting it in the first place is not only naive it just serves to pad what is essentially a one page process.

I'm with Ray on this - I have been doing IM for offline businesses for over a decade and I've never had any business ask to be ranked for image searches. I certainly have never bought anything based on looking at google images and in your report you say to take the images "from the internet" by searching in Google.

This is illegal. I can't believe you don't know that so I don't understand why you would say it.

Also you say people can sell the site with the image they've stolen to business owners - that's even worse.

And to top it off when you mentioned the seo wordpress plugin you even said

"if you still don’t want to buy the plugin or grab your hands on a hacked version,"

It's cheap so I'm not bothered about trying to get a refund and I'd have been ok with it if you'd omitted the reference to stealing images, but the way it is right now leaves a bad taste.

With only a few changes/omissions it could have been a good little WSO.

Most of the content is a step by step walkthrough of optimising articles using seopressor which is more of an add-on for people not familiar with writing seo'd articles than anything to do with the image strategy. But without that walkthrough the report would have been a lot shorter.

Good luck to you if you have people paying you to do this for them but I'd avoid using other people's images if you don't want to get in trouble and definitely don't tell others to do it.

Andy I am not asking anyone to download a "hacked" version at all. There is a paid version I mention. The plug in is optional I should have made it clear in the WSO.

Apologies for the confusion - there was something I did mention about a Torrent site but I have took it out now. First time it has happened and I admit my mistake!

When I saw this WSO I was under the impression ranking Images was like YouTube or Google places where you want to rank them well.

I finished reading the WSO from head to toe in under 45min - it was simple to understand and apply.

Apart from the WSO I am enlightened by the discussions here. Overall - it's good for beginners.

I think if you bought this you will understand the concept.

1. Prospect searches for image on Google images.

2. Once they see image of something, e.g cupcakes they are directed to website of business owner.

3. Then they contact business owner for service.

It is best suited to certain types of services.

The plug in is optional.

Its using Google Images traffic - nothing wrong with optimising for Google images.

Please note, We recommend using unique images, please do not download copyright images which belong to other people.
I am sure everyone is aware that copyright images are illegal and I am sorry for the misunderstanding.

We asked someone on a classified site to sell us a bunch of high quality car photographs.

We have hired photographers who go to car show rooms and take photos of cars. You can get a unique image that way.

You can expect to pay around $20-$30 for a bunch of high quality unique photos.
