Hi Abe, I would actually think this is a benefit.

The Worth1000 watermark is fine.

Makes people, think your a real user, who is not interested in promoting anything. Then they click your link without thinking, and realise they are at a shop or CPA Program.

On top of that, people would repin like mad.

On top of that, every image is amazing, not quality but SUPER QUALITY. Seriously this would be a massive advantage to your program.

Can you add a delay function , id like to put in like 5 minutes, so it auto posts a picture every 5 minutes. or something. cause 100 pictures in 2 minutes isnt very good for the ban police

I totally agree with the delay between pins function. I hope that gets to be put in soon

Example:

# of Pins | Delay between Pins | So it doesn't just flood the pins within 5 minutes, but spreads each pin over say 30 seconds

Can't be to difficult: After clicking "Pin it", add Delay function, Sleep (Textbox.1 * 1000) User puts in the number of seconds they want to delay in the textbox.

I don't see why you can't just leave the URL box empty to achieve this, if that doesn't work, you could always just put "#" in the URL box. "#" is the html equivalent of current url.

I don't own this software but have heard about it through a free report I got on here called Pinterest Affiliate Gold, which gives the impression you're going to get some really "useful" information but actually is just a complete sales pitch for this software. When you click the link in the report it brings you to this WSO thread. Admittedly though it got me intrigued, as WSO's always do.

I know I'm going to rustle a few feathers here but I get incensed when people get talked into parting with hard to come by cash with the promise of quick profits from people who claim to be experts.

Pinterest is a great site with amazing opportunities to promote your business or make a passive income. Which is why lots of people are throwing together Pinterest Products..so they can cash in.

Nothing wrong with this along as the products are fit for purpose.

But unfortunately it seems that people are quickly throwing together software, to cash in on this new craze and prey on people who are desperate to earn some quick cash. Anyone can outsource getting a piece of software made. Anyone can pretend they are an expert on something. It doesn't mean it's good.

Has Pinterest been around long enough to have any real experts? Yes, probably but I can assure you that anyone with a truly good "how to report" or software won't be encouraging people to just spam the site with Amazon links.

Secondly, and this is NOT a sexist comment but it is a fact that the demographics on Pinterest are very largely female. Most of these ladies just enjoy the social utiliy of Pinterest sharing recipes and holiday snaps and knitting patterns etc. A majority of them aren't IM'ers, not at the moment anyway.

It is true men are getting more of a handle on it now. But I'm curious as to why, all of a sudden all of the Pinterest experts are men? Have they really been using it long enough to qualify themselves as the inventor of the latest and greatest software for it?

There is a right way and wrong way to use Pinterest but spamming it with amazon links isn't the way to go. Just like spamming Facebook was the wrong way to go and never worked long term. Which ever way you look at it, whether you use a software or not, it's all just spam. You might make a few bucks to start but then you'll get your accounts closed down and you'll have to start all over again.

Then eventually the benefits of Pinterest to Marketers will just get diluted down with all the crap it's being spammed with and then it will be of no use to anyone because nobody will trust anyone on there anymore.

Do you think people will take you seriously when every image on every board that is supposed to be something of interest to you, goes directly to Amazon?

I also read on this thread that to get images the software goes to Google and Flickr. Is that right or have I misunderstood? According to the sales letter you just tell it which site to pull images from.

Is this for real? You just go to a random site to pull images?

Just because Google & Flickr has free images doesn't mean you can just grab them and use them. They are someone else's property. Pinterest has already been questioned about image copyright issues. With most free images you have to at the very least, state who the original image belongs to, usually with a link back to their website, even if it's free.

Does the software do this? If it does..how? I would be curious to know the legal implications of using these images and how the "inventor" of this software gets around this.

It seems from these threads that there are already some glitches. Now there's going to be a "spun url" facility added.

So you're happy to put your affiliate link into a piece of thus far, untested software in the hope that it won't go all glitchy again

If I was you I would put you're credit card away and start using Pinterest to build a relationship with other Pinterest users. Then it will be a good tool for your IM arsenal.

I think you're both right and wrong here...
Not everyone is interested in bots with the idea of using it to spam. I, for one, am not: as you've said yourself this would be a waste of time... This isn't how social networks - all of them - work.

Putting an affiliate link with each and every pin would be a mistake, no doubt. Posting irrelevant pictures, too.

Now I believe you can use a good bot to build your account faster, and do IM smartly. By "smartly" I mean that using the bot should not be the only way you use the social network, you need to actually be there and interact with people, gain their trust. That's one of the reasons why, for example, although I know a bot or two that can automatically submit comments on hundreds of pins, I'd never use that function.

Now what defines a "good" bot... I don't know... That's why I feel the need to test. So far I have found one which I believe can be useful. As for the one of Abester101, I don't know yet, I won't voice an opinion until I get my hands on it.

Hey! I did think about this when creating the software. I actually went as far as making a copy where it only grabs creative commons images. If you would like a copy of it PM me. I would be happy to give it to you! I do agree with you how the software can be used for spam. But I cannot control that. It can also be put to good marketing use.
