Hi Kate, Very impressive. You've made me think. And now I'm wondering, as I contemplate your wow-type WSO... What skill sets are needed to make a substantial success out of this? Looking at some of the domains you flipped (assuming they are your URLs in the greyed out screenshot), you're a pretty snazzy web designer. How much HTML knowhow is needed? PHP? Graphics creation/manipulation? Copywriting? Color coordination? Other skills? - I'm fishing here. I mean, you must be a talented lady. And some of those talents must have helped create your success. Looking forward to your commentary in response... Gary |

Gary, When I started flipping websites, I was doing 90% of the work myself. I was writing the content (ebooks, articles, etc), writing sales pages, setting it all up, with designs being the only thing outsourced, and even then, I taught myself photoshop over the last couple of months so I could create minisite designs, and some of my auctions were designed by me. BURN OUT! Eventually, I started outsourcing more and more, to the point where I was outsourcing the majority (if not all) of the content, ebooks, design, with the only element not being outsourced was my copy (and once in awhile I even gave up the reins on that). And so, yes, you can outsource all of the work and still make a profit. You don't need to know design, HTML, programming, copy writing or anything else. All you do need to know is how to package it all up properly, present it the right way, and work within a well managed system where you are focused on quality AND quantity. I know a lot of new flippers are focus on selling $100 - $200 websites, thinking that if they simply sell more for less, they'll do allright. Personally, I was far more interested in selling fewer websites for more money, it just made sense to spend a bit more money (or time) creating a higher quality package that could sell for $997.00, $1297 or $1797, than to mess around with a ton of small packages. And considering that none of my websites had revenue or traffic, and many of them created within 48 hours, once I developed my "system", things became a lot easier to do. That's what Flip Mastery focuses on. I hope that answered your questions, Kate Quote:

I have sold under a few different accounts (I also partnered with a couple of warriors over the last few months) but you can see the last 20 or so auctions from my main account, Kate Anderson: http://marketplace.sitepoint.com/users/233040/profile (I have sold over 120 websites on SitePoint alone in the last few months with that account. To see more of those, you can use the "Advanced Search Tool" in the top right nav bar on the SP Marketplace screen) I eventually separated my unique content type listings from PLR flips to avoid confusion. That account is called "Quality Content", and I also flipped video sites with warrior Venkata, under "Custom Videos". Thanks, Kate

Hi Kate, I was reading a thread on site flipping at another forum and people were saying it is difficult to flip a site if it isn't already generating traffic and/or a profit. Can you address this please? It sounds like the majority of sites you flip are not generating traffic at the time of sale. Also... - I noticed that Sitepoint has a TON of sites for sale (lots of low quality though.) Is site flipping a saturated market place or is there realistically room for a newbie if they follow your instructions? - I don't mind doing the majority the work myself (in the beginning), but graphics is something I'll probably have to outsource. Do you provide sources where this can be done for a reasonable price? Thanks in advance... Matt |

Matt, There is plenty of room in the marketplace for high quality sellers, as there are for sellers with special focus (mine was ClickBank "Ready" Website packages). In addition, none of the websites I have flipped under the account "Kate Anderson" had traffic or revenue, in fact, most were packaged and sold the same day I flipped them. As for outsourcing designs, I do that quite frequently, and I am creating a swipe file consisting of all of my personal resources that I will email out to all Flip Mastery members as soon as it's ready. In the meantime, if you need any help finding an affordable, high quality designer just PM me and I'll give you a few of the best sources I've worked with. |

Thank you for your feedback! If you need anything at all, don't hesitate to get in touch. I entered your information into my "warrior only" folder for the draw. There are still a limited number of discount codes available but it's dwindling down, so I expect to choose a winner soon. Thanks again! =) Kate |

Hi Kate, Ed Aw here. Thanks for the great WSO. I have followed it and it definitely works. I set up Wordpress blogs with PLR and Pages with Amazon, Ebay, and News. All are running Adsense and Clickbank products. Here are my results. Site 1: 5 hours to set up. $25.82 Cost (Namecheap - 8.81, Hostgator - 4.01, Sitepoint - $13) 7 Day Auction - 4 Days Left - No bids Some sign ups on my optin list Site 2: 7 hours to set up. I was messing around with some things. $21.82 Cost (Namecheap - 8.81, Hostgator - .01, Sitepoint - $13) 7 Day Auction - 5 Days Left - 1 Bid - 100USD Some sign ups on my optin list Site 1: 3.5 hours to set up. $21.82 Cost (Namecheap - 8.81, Hostgator - .01, Sitepoint - $13) 7 Day Auction - 6 Days Left - No bids Some sign ups on my optin list I hope all of them sell. I think I can get this down to less than 1 hour. Thanks a gain Kate. Ed |

Kate, I just wanted to drop in here after purchasing your 'Flip Mastery' membership to say that it is MILES above anything else I've EVER read on this subject - purchased or free. I've only gone through the 'blog' module so far... Your writing style is easy to read and understand. And even more importantly, you focus right on what matters in step-by-step fashion. I've gotten buried in custom web work and consulting for the last 8 months, but I've enjoyed real success flipping sites and blogs when I was doing it regularly. I know what it takes to build and flip a blog, and you have not missed a thing in your guide. I got some valuable tips, myself. ![]() Anyone who is on the fence about grabbing Kate's WSO - Do NOT Hesitate! Whether you are thinking about trying your hand at site flipping, or you've been doing it for a while now - there is plenty of spot-on, valuable information contained in 'Flip Mastery' that you can USE to create a systemized site-flipping business. The information Kate gives you makes it as easy as possible for you to do so. Kudos to you, Kate! Deb |

Okay, Kate. I've finally read through all of the modules (including the bonuses), so I think it's time I offer my full review of the whole course. Flip Mastery Core We'll begin with The Flip Mastery core. And I have to tell you this: This is by far THE BEST site flipping book I have ever read. Of course I can go with the usual "I've read many but this is the best" phrase and be done with it, but I just have to tell others much more. First off, Kate actually GIVES YOU samples of the websites she has flipped! THANK YOU, Kate. It's about damn time. This makes me happy and I'm damn sure this will make others happy as well. Because this allows you to learn from the best in the business. I mean how hard is it to show what you've flipped? I can now study her sites and apply what she teaches in the book and start making thousands of dollars. But of course, I wouldn't just blatantly copy her. Kate goes into so much detail about every aspect of site flipping. Everything from niche selection to selling the site on Sitepoint and everything in between. She has definitely impressed me with an eBay technique which I won't reveal here but I'll definitely try it and we'll see how I do. Furthermore, Kate talks about this technique which I haven't heard anyone else talk about in the other site flipping books I've bought (I can't reveal the technique here, of course). But the part that strikes me most is the Established Sites section. This, IMO, is EXTREMELY important if you're looking to buy an established site and flip it for profit. So damn much to learn in this section ALONE. As good as this book is, it does have one flaw, however. And I am STILL in the dark about this: When to start and end your auctions! What days of the week and what times of the day. Because I can safely say that things online sell better on certain days of the week and on certain times of the day than others. If she or anyone else can elaborate on this, we won't have to play the guessing game and lose money in the process. Kate, this I WON'T grade you down for, but I think I have found two or three typos in this book, but this is extremely minor. I ain't gonna tell you how to do your job or anything, but I highly suggest that you correct those. I will go through the book again and PM you on where they are. I just think a book has to be error free to be professional (I don't have a problem with the typos, of course, but others may). But of course, no one is perfect. For the Flip Mastery core, I give it a 4.75/5. Thankfully Kate has shown samples of the sites she has flipped, of else this would've been down. Just that one flaw I mentioned knocked off .25 points from me. But even then, this gets my HIGHEST recommendation. This is worth the $57 I paid ALONE. Flip Mastery PLR Flipping Next is Kate's PLR Flipping module. This one explains just what PLR is and how you can profit from it. I've learned a lot from this, however. There is a certain thing about offering hosting to your customers that I think should've been in the Core, but it was a nice addition nonetheless. Kate also explains just how you can add more value to your PLR flips, which I think is the BEST information in this module. The length is just perfect (27 pages) and has all the right info in this. I couldn't find a flaw in this one since it's just a module. So for this one, this gets a 4.75/5 from me. This one rocks, but it can't really be used without the Core. You can get all the information you need for this one in the Core, then put the techniques in this one to use. Flip Mastery Blog Flipping Next up, Kate presents us with the Blog Flipping module. This module is based on the popular Wordpress platform. This I was most interested in because I'm only gonna concentrate on Wordpress until my cash is right to expand. While about 80% of the information wasn't new to me (including transferring the blog, which I've learned already), I think it's a wonderful source for newbies. Though I did learn about increasing the value of the blog in ways I never really thought about. This module is wonderful in itself other than the sales section, which you'll have to go to the Core for. There is one flaw in this one that I've found. I think Kate didn't discuss the plugins enough. In other site flipping books I've bought, they've gone into lots of detail about JUST the plugins alone while Kate briefly talks about them. I find this to be a huge bummer for any newbies who will want to learn about the plugins she recommends installing. This module gets a 4.5/5 from me. I liked how Kate explained how to add value to your blog, but the lack of detail in the plugins just graded this down. Though I know most of what needs to be known about plugins, newbies will be left in the dark about this and will have to resort to Google. But other than that, this is STILL a great module. This is a great place to start if you want to make huge profits but keep your costs low. Flip Mastery Domain Flipping Fourth on the list, Kate has the Domain Flipping module. This I was extremely interested in as well because I've flipped domains for a while with so and so success. I do agree with her that domain flipping is an exciting business to get into. But I find domaining to be somewhat not easy/not hard. Of course that is MY opinion. This one I didn't learn all that much new other than a few tidbits, but this is an excellent source for newbies. The good thing about it is that you can use what Kate teaches here and generate start up capital for your site flipping ventures. In this one, Kate actually gives you suggestions on when to start and end your auctions. It's funny though because the other domain flipping books I've read they've had that, but for the site flipping books I've read there is NO indication on when to start and end your auctions (with one exception, but that concentrated on eBay, not Sitepoint). Why is this? I mean if you can list them for domain flipping then why not for site flipping? This puzzles me. Anyways, no considerable flaws to speak of here as she gives you everything you need to get started. This gets, from a newbie's prespective, a 4.75/5. Anyone who knows even a little about domaining won't learn much here, but otherwise I suggest you check into this or the Blog Flipping module for the low cost/high profit conversions before you work your way up. Flip Mastery Starting From Scratch Numero cinco in line is Kate's Starting From Scratch module. This one has little to do with site or domain flipping, but instead is more of an emergency cash plan. Kate basically gives you strategies that you can easily find for free online (most I have seen time and time again). But if you have to have them all in one place, this is what you'd need. This module is basically a startup capital method but the techniques in here require an investment. There are no real flaws with this one, but I thought it'd be cool if Kate included a certain article website. Especially since she speaks about a certain thing so much (I can't reveal the details because I don't wanna hurt her sales). For this module, I give it a 4/5. If you have a decent investment to make into even domain flipping, you won't need this. Otherwise, check it out. Flip Mastery Blog Cash Plan The next module is Kate's Blog Cash Plan. Blogging full time is something that hasn't caught my interest because of the time consuming work involved, but I will give it a shot to add to my sources of income. This is very informative to those who wanna make blogs with the intention to keep them, though there is a small section on flipping. In this one Kate actually goes into more details about the plugins she recommends, which is great. This is a great resource for those who want to just simply blog for fun and profit. Kate gives you so many details on how to build backlinks, generate traffic, RSS Feed Submission, among much more things. IMO this is information that anyone who even is thinking about blogging should check into. Of course as the blog gets popular you can always flip it (hint). In my opinion, there is one MAJOR flaw in this one. I think the niche selection section should have been more thorough. When blogging full time just the simple "find what's already selling" just doesn't cut it. For this you have to drill down to high search/low comp. Simply creating then flipping doesn't require this, but blogging full time does. That was just a huge bummer for me and it'll be for newbies as well because no niche means no blog. Luckily, we have Google. Oh, Kate: No grade down here, but typo at the end. I'll PM you. This one gets a 3.75/5 for me. The niche selection section will leave newbies in the dark, so just browse through Google and find out how to select a profitable niche. Otherwise, if you're looking to blog full time, you'll love this. And the good thing about it is that you can use the techniques she teaches you in the book to flip blogs and sites. Flip Mastery Traffic Generation And last, but certainly not least, we have Kate's Traffic Generation module. And of course, no traffic means no business. Oh, and small tip here: Don't be lazy and buy traffic (unless it's Adwords haha). This one I didn't learn a thing from as I've seen it a million times before. This is basically some all too popular traffic generation methods that you likely have heard of. But of course I am rating from a newbie's prespective so newbies will learn a ton here if they don't have the patience to search on Google. But even then they'll turn to Google to learn much more. This is more of an introduction to traffic generation as Kate doesn't go into deep details. This is just some basic stuff that pretty much everyone knows about. It isn't anything way too advanced, which is what newbies will smile about. I've seen all of these "You've been lied to about getting traffic" or "Use Adwords to your unfair advantage" books around. Don't know if they work as I've never tried them. No considerable flaws to speak of here. This one gets a 4/5 from me. Nothing new here for advanced people, BUT it helps to have everything in one place for the newbies. Overall Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of Kate's Flip Mastery course. There is SO MUCH to learn in here. The pros far outweigh the cons I've mentioned. I'll be turning back to the Core many, MANY times just to make sure I get everything down pat. This should be your very first stop if you're even THINKING about flipping websites. Though PLRFlip, FlipNoobs, Pimp My Flip, Blog Flipping Fool, and Flip Sites and Grow Rich are all great books in their own right (and all made by men haha), Flip Mastery takes the cake (and made by a woman haha). Besides, Kate is making a KILLING with site flipping and with her by your side, you will too. My overall score (not an average) is a 4.25/5. Awesome job by Kate. |

Wow, thank you for the lengthy review, it's really appreciated. I will add in a section regarding when to flip sites (it will be updated in the core), and I will go over the other modules to check for typos (I always do that but Word must not have caught them all), as well as better explain plugins (in the Blog Flipping Module). The two bonuses, Blog Action Plan and Traffic Strategies were purchased by a warrior, neither of those were written by me, they are just added bonuses that I thought would help newbies but I appreciate you including your review on those as well. Thanks again, Biggy, I really appreciate it! |

I am a complete newbie to IM and flipping websites. Mr. Biggy gave a very thorough review. Here's my perspective from a new person. This information is very comprehensive, it's easy to read and understand and it makes sense. IM and Flipping Sites has it's own language (like most things) and this material is understandable without an IM dictionary. Kate gives you her list of auctioned sites ---MAJOR ALERT -- I've asked several other WSO people for examples and never got any, Kate puts it all out there to look at and learn from. She is a true professional, incredibly talented and possibly a Saint for giving us this information. (Yep, I'm a fan). Don't "think about" getting this, get it, take action, be successful and be happy. Simple stuff. Thanks, Palo |

So Ed, were you able to get any of those sites sold? I ask because whenever I check out Sitepoint it seems like tons of sites for sale and very few sales. I'm wondering if Ebay is better for sales? _____ Bruce |

Out of the three I was able to sell one for $100. So my net was about $35. Not really worth 15 hours of work on three sites. However, here is the rest of the story... The purchaser wanted me to help him learn to install wordpress into his server. I spent about two hours with him over Skype. At the end of that time, he wanted me to develop a proposal for a major web site project. Additionally, I will be running a ppc campaign for him and helping him develop a product! We're talking thousands and a long term relationship. The reason he was willing to give this business to me is because he said my service was outstanding. He hadn't met someone willing to spend that amount of time to make sure everything was ok. And now. I will get great feedback from him at SitePoint, which pushes up my credibility. Then more sites will sell and it gets better. Here are my "real life" points, not just from reading the e-book. 1. You have to implement. 2. The initial prices quoted in the book seem a bit high for me. I think my two other sites would have sold at a lower price (I had them listed with a minimum of $97.) I think the sites are quite ok for starter sites. They had amazon store, ebay store, news feed, video feed, plr articles. 3. Setting up the initial squeeze page is essential. I now have almost a dozen people who will get emails from me every time I have a site for sale. 4. You need to build a reputation. I think Kate gets hers sold so fast and so high because she has an impeccable reputation. This comes from putting up good sites and providing outstanding customer service. 5. You need to automate. Anything that will help you get the sites done faster means you make more money. For instance, build a "dummy" site that has all the areas that have to be changed with dummy variables. For instance, for the site name call it ZZSITENAMEZZ. Then when you can do a simple find replace in the database code and voila, done. 5 Minutes instead of 1 hour. 6. Back to pricing, for your first couple of sites, sell a bit lower. Then as reputation grows, kick up the price. Kate's book is excellent. It is well written and takes you through a step by step approach. She doesn't talk about automation, but that's not what the book is about! As a side note on automation, learn to use imacros for firefox and macroexpress.com for windows. I hope that helps. Blessings, Ed

Hi Kate, I've been following you on Site-Point for a-while now.. trying to understand how you put out these Click Bank site together..Which are big sellers on SP. Seems to be the average is around $600.00 us and your selling most of these sites. My concern now is that you have this on WF ..will this get to the point of oversaturation . I noticed a package just like you were selling on SP Ready For ClickBank! -Pregnancy Nutrition - Incredible Design- Won,t Last Long Bin NOW Before its to Late! is this one of your WF customers. I'm very interested..but if you get everyone doing the same thing..short term cash and burn out?? Thanks Kate Fellow Canadian Shaun |

Shaun, There is plenty of room on the marketplace for the types of sites that I sell. The majority are flipping blogs, directories and ebook shopping cart type sites, there is still a huge demand for "ClickBank Ready" websites that just hasn't been met yet, and I suspect it won't be filled or saturated for quite some time, if ever. There seems to be an influx of new marketers hitting the marketplace as well, eager to have their own product on the CB marketplace but unsure how to get it set up, so there's a lot of potential out there for both new and seasoned flippers who focus on quality content sites. (that's the key, and the main reason why an auction will sell or won't). As for that seller, yes, he's someone I have coached a bit and have also considered partnering with at one point because, while he had to work on the quality of the content he was selling, he certainly understands what the marketplace wants, and took what we discussed (and what is featured in my course) and implemented it into his campaigns.. he's doing rather well. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to PM, email or post =) Quote:

Sorry, I got it fixed, it should work now.. There are still a handful of coupons left. Let me know if you have any other problems, guys! |

I bought a few days ago and went thru everything. It is very well done and thorough. So thorough that you really need time to step back and absorb before taking action. All the answers are there but there is so much info it takes some time to find. Great job Kate.

The coupon should still be working, although it's close to its limit. I just checked and it's still valid, but in case you have a problem with it, here is another one that I just generated: FB3952C7ED Let me know if you have any problems with it. Thanks, Kate |

I got this at $67 a few days ago when the coupon was still expired and I DON'T WANT A REFUND! The deal is great at $67. it's even better at $47 if you can still get it, but if you can't because the codes are limited in number, you should STILL get it. IT IS A BARGAIN, and guess what. I would pay double that price if that's what it would be. Great job Kate, Awesome work. Sebastian |

Sebastian, You're a doll.. thank you for such encouraging feedback, I really appreciate that. The current coupon is only available to a VERY small handful of warriors (only), and then it's back to the regular price.. Thanks again, |

| There are still a few coupons left that will reduce the (already too low) price to $47.. I am going to relaunch Flip Mastery this summer so that it is set up to offer either a one time download package, or a monthly membership account into Profit Flips, so the price will increase at that point however anyone currently already a customer of FM will receive access to the new material featured on FM for free.. and will also be given a special (private) discount code to access Profit Flips as well.
