The introduction tutorials show you how to use the site then we dive in and show you our mix and match system and the next few explain in a little more detail and provide heaps of different files to use in our system.

The following videos show you the different elements of the files so you can make changes to everything in minutes.

The last couple show you how to add special touches and provide some added resources.

Hey Garry I added the list of tutorials in the FAQ however this is not trying to teach you how to become a graphic artist but to show you how to combine files to make new graphics.

This means your graphics will be as good as the ones you combine. We are not building any graphics from scratch.

Also, I have just had an opportunity to review a few of the videos and I can assure everyone that the videos are of high quality and are easy to understand. I have previously purchased other WSO from Quentin and I have also found the information and quality of the videos provided to be exceptional…

You will find that this WSO is designed for people that have limited Photoshop skills (as stated in the WSO) and is designed for those of us that simply need some guidance in combining graphics to create a plethora of images.

There is so much information in this WSO – even if you are a Photoshop Newbie, how can you go wrong with spending less than $20?

Like Quentin’s other WSO’s I have purchased this one is “idiot proof” – that’s why I have bought it (lol).

Should but I do not have a copy VS 6 yet

We are only using the basic features so should be no problem. As I say in the copy we are not out to make you graphic artists just show you some basics and how we mix and match files and this should be the same in all versions.

Is this training applicable for photoshop CS4

It works on all versions of Photoshop from 10 through all the CS series.

We are not using most of the complicated tools that tend to change on different versions and we are not doing complicated formatting.

Its like lots of programs, we do 90% of the work with 10% of the programs capabilities.

By mixing and matching files you do not have to create graphics form scratch and because we are just using the core tools that don't change it works on all versions.

Can you give more details about what type of files we will be getting in the downloads and are there sufficient to adapt for most uses?

Also will there be additional files added in the future?

Once you learn our Mix and Match system you will see it is not how many files we can give you but how any files you want blend to make as many as you want.

Thanks Quentin, based on that I went ahead and purchased.

Ok I have had a good look around and am very pleased with my purchase.

The site is well laid out and the videos are very informative, in fact what I do like is keeping it simple - just up my street as I can make things very complicated in my head.

I have learnt a great deal all ready and gained more confidence in using that huge complex goliath Photoshop.

A hidden surprise as I was looking around the available files was a link to a website that has free PSD files by the bucket load and most are top quality. That link on it's own is well worth the investment.

Another goodie is the mobile phone icons which could be used on its own to start an income stream.

So overall very impressed and by the looks Quentin is adding more over time, so a good WSO to get onto.

Quentin I was sent your link via squeeze mobi I have been changing there pages using fireworks software. (trial month) I like your videos and can I change the same pages using photoshop if so I will purchase orwill it work the same in adobe fireworks

As I said I am not a graphics artist in any way so I am sorry I cannot answer your questions.

Fireworks is much more for web pages I think where as Photoshop is a graphics program.

Thanks for the kind comment Micky. Its not so hard when you know how. You will start noticing in magazines etc that most graphic artists use the exact same system.

There are not many who actually make the graphics from scratch.

This is exactly what I needed!!

If anyone is like me, I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out Photoshop to make the headers and graphics "I want" without paying thru the nose and waiting.
Now I can produce results like the big boys.

Just 2 video tutorials and I am years ahead of where I was this morning.

And the promise of new stuff...headers, images etc. and a great price to boot!!

This absolutely hits the mark on what I needed and couldn't find. I have some great video tutorials for Photoshop, but this one concentrates on graphics for the web or print.

I've watched most of the videos so far, and had a few moments of "I didn't know how to do that...it's so easy." Heck, I didn't know there were resources for free psd images.

Although this is for Photoshop, much or all of it should work with Gimp (free). Better yet, try the on-line service pixlr.com (free). It does include layers and is quick to access and use. Try it and post your experience.

For us who are color challenged, go to kuler. Click on "create" and play with various "rules". Move the lollipops around and in and out. Addicting. You can see the hex codes. If you register (free) you can post your handiwork.

If you have photos of people's faces, forget Photoshop. Try the free version of
http://portraitprofessional.com . On reaching the site you will see before and after pictures. Not only will it get rid of red-eye and blemishes, it has an algorithm of what a good looking face is and applies it to your photo. I purchased the top of the line version last year. You'll be tempted to do so after playing with it.

EDITED ADDITION:I just ran across http://designfestival.com/category/photoshop/. The video player project doesn't look too difficult, and the selection tutorial will come in handy. Be sure to look at the "LOGO" tab.

The two graphic packages that Quentin recommends (WSOs) are perfect for all projects.
