Default Drip-Feed YouTube Videos to Your Blogs...

Warriors...

Discover How to Grow Your Blog with Targeted YouTube Videos on Auto-pilot!

I've just finished the latest version of my WordPress plugin... WP VideoTube

The plugin can automatically post videos to your blog based on the search terms (keywords) you setup.

It has a drip-feed feature which will post the videos without any manual work! Plus with the "humanize" option, it will post the video at random times

WP VideoTube will retrieve not just the video, but also the description, comments and tags.

A free version is available that's limited to 3 keywords. To read the full details and download the free version, please visit:

http://www.wpvideotube.com

Here's the special for warriors...

A 60% coupon for ANY one of the Lite, Pro & elite upgrade versions. The most you would pay is just $23.98 and that's for the top "Elite" version which includes UNLIMITED search terms, plus the footer branding removed (a saving of $35.97 off the normal price) the lite version is just $11.98

So try the free version, I'm sure you will like it. And if you want more search terms upgrade with the 60% discount...

Coupon code: wso60off

Here's a demo I setup, with just 3 keyword phrases:

WP VideoTube demo

=========

The 4th version is the developer license...

Dev License

You can now use the plugin to build blogs for your clients and include WP VideoTube pre-installed. If you want to flip niche related blogs at marketplaces such as sitepoint, the dev license is the ideal solution.

The dev license is equal to the Elite version, so your clients receive the plugin with unlimited keywords. Plus the footer branding is removed, your clients never have to download the plugin from my site. You provide them with the plugin files, you download new updates when I release them.

Support is also provided, if at any time your client has issues with plugin once you transfer the blog. You can contact me to help resolve.

The dev version is available with a $100 discount - Click Here

Coupon code: $100off

Plus I'm offering 75% instant paypal commissions on the 3 personal versions. And earn 50% ($149.50 per sale) on the dev license

Any questions please let me know.

Hi Brian

Thanks for your interest! I've added the actual coupon code to the wso. Simply enter the code and it should now work and apply the discount.

Hey Neil,

I've been happily using your WP Answers plugin since your programmer fixed the issue of it leaving something in 'comments' even though what it gathered to 'pending review.' Anyway, WP Answers is an awesome plugin now and thank you for fixing that little bug.

So I was wondering if your new video plugin does not leave comments when I set it to 'pending review'?

Thanks
Steve

Tim -

This sounds amazing. But then again, I'm new to IM and WP and I'm not very technical. So I've got some questions.

1) Does it require much technical know-how to use on WP, in general?

2) I'm using a program I bought to generate WP Blogs. (See my sig line for an example.) The blog it creates is (obviously) based on the WP platform, but do you think that there would be a problem figuring out how to plug it in?

3) In using your plug-in, wouldn't I be specifying keywords relevant to my blog-topic ... and therefore wouldn't it be placing YouTube videos on my blog that (likely) come from competitors? If so, wouldn't the video (likely) have my competitors web/blog site address on it somewhere ... in plain view of my prospects?

4) If I were to buy the plug-in now, would I be able to upgrade in the future to a more advanced edition with the same discount?

5) I was a littler confused by the demo site you provide a link for. It seemed to have about 6 or 7 videos on it. Is that an example of a blog, showing different videos that were plugged-in from YouTube based on a bunch of keywords relevant to that blog?

6) From what little I know about SEO, it seems better to set up sites with a few (not many) similar, closely related keywords. If that's so - again, what do I know? - then why would I want or need a more than the Lite vsn. to do more than 20 keywords?

Thanks,
Richard

Neil,
Your YT plugin is absolutely great.
I bought it from you about 3 months ago.
Would I get the upgrade?

Hi Steve - The bug was fixed in both plugins, so WP VideoTube will not display comments for pending review posts.

=====

Hi Tim - here goes...

1.) No it's not hard to use, it's very easy... try the free version.

2.) I've not used that product you mention, so not sure. The plugin just needs to be uploaded to the plugins folder and then activated providing your are using WP 2.7 and above. If you can do that it should work.

3.) Not all videos at YT promote a site url. I think it will depend on the niche and how many videos are at YT, one niche blog I use the plugin on has 1000's of videos but very little site url branding on the videos. It a hobby site and makes affiliate sales every day.

But I guess if you had a blog on for example credit cards, it's more likely to have the url branding. All depends on the niche!

4.) Bug fixes are free, I have stated before that upgrades to new features will cost a small fee. Only this week I moved the site to a new payment system and asked customers to upgrade to the new version for $1, only so they were on the new system. Before that I've never charged anything.

5.) The demo blog is only setup with 3 keywords, it has more than 7 videos. More like 160, the home page has 10 alone and then there is the link to "older entries".

It was setup last year, and the plugin retrieves new videos between 3-7 days. I used keywords based around wordpress, so it's related to my plugin! but don't feel it required to have a ton of different keywords for a demo.

My live blogs run many more keywords, all using the day 'run time' option. The plugin posts a new video every day, but some of the keywords only run every 20 days. So I have a lot of varied videos.

6.) Who told you that to use only a few related keywords?

I use as many keywords related to my niche as possible. If you promoted a single product, I would guess it will have a maximum number of related keywords, but if it's a niche such as golf and promoted affiliate products. Then there is many more related keywords.

Each keyword can be setup to post in a single category. So for each related keyword you can separate into sub-categories to better organize the videos.

I suggest try the free version, it's much easy to try it and see if it's of use to you!

The amount of keywords you use in your niche may only need 3 keywords setup. So you could use the free version, and it's won't cost a penny. But it also displays the footer branding, so does the lite and pro versions. Only the elite version has it removed.

So it all depends on YOUR niche, there are a lot of variables to determine if the plugin is right for you and which version.

I don't personally just use the plugin on a blog, I mix in other content from both unqiue articles and yahoo answers.

=====

Hi Rajul - Yes, you should have received an email yesterday. Please send me a PM and I'll forward the details.

Sooo, is there anyway of keeping the videos with URLs on them from automatically posting ... or for that matter, any videos from automatically posting ... until I've had a chance to look at them to make sure they don't have a (competitor's) URL on them (and then post them 'manually')?

But that sort of goes against the whole idea of your automatic video-dripping plug-in, right? I mean, doing all of that automatically is great. But if I have to look at them to make sure that they don't have competitors' URLs before posting them manually, what's the advantage? Couldn't I just search YouTube, look at the results one by one, and post the ones that don't have competitors' URLs on them?

I guess your plug-in finding them for me automatically would be a great help - but, at least in my case, only if your plug-in would let me put them "on hold" until I decided whether to post them manually. Can it do that .. or will you be modifying it to do that anytime soon?

Sooo, if I try the free copy and then decide to buy the Lite vsn. later on, will I get the WSO discount? (How long will the WSO discount be good for?)

Thanks!

Hi Richard

Sorry about the name mix-up, I answered a customer support ticket in the middle of writing my reply post!

The plugin cannot detect if it has a url in either the actual video or description. Although the description can be removed completely from the settings template.

It can post automatically, pending review, draft and private.

Please try the free version, you'll soon see if it's of use to your blog(s) or not!

The discount will be available for a while, so you should be ok to upgrade at a later date.

I'm glad to hear that A) the plug-in will hold the video-post "pending review" and B) that I can remove the reference to competitors' URLs.

I'll download the free version now and likely upgrade to at least the Lite vsn. sooner than later.

Thanks, mate!

Richard

Neil -

Been away for awhile. Just to follow-up:

You said the URL displayed in the video can be removed, right?

1) How .. with something like PhotoShop (and if so, can you recommend a less expensive & less complicated bit of software)?

2) Does that create any kind of "legal" or "ethical" issues with either the video creator or YouTube itself?

3) Speaking of which, do i understand correctly that per YouTube's TOS,the creator of the video, by virtue of posting to YouTube and allowing visitors to copy the 'embedded code', implicitly gives visitors permission to put their videos on the visitor's site?

4) Does it matter whether the video creator nonetheless put a copyright notice on the video (even though he posted it to YT and enabled or allowed the embedded code)?

5) And does it matter whether the visitor's site (my site) - the one using the video - is used for affiliate marketing? (Someone told me you can't use a YT video for commercial purposes, but someone else told me it's OK as long as it's not on the same page that promotes the affili product, like in a different section of your blog or whatever.)

Thanks,
Richard

Re: You said the URL displayed in the video can be removed, right?

No, I didn't say that...

The plugin cannot detect if it has a url in either the actual video or description. Although the description can be removed completely from the settings template.

1.) It's impossible to remove from the video, you can only remove the whole description from the posting template. So would remove any url if included.

2.) Nope because it cannot be done!

3.) Yes. Once you upload a video to YT, per their terms they can use the video as they wish, which is why they offer through the api. Which is how the plugin works. Is the same as grabbing the embed code and adding manually to a page/post.

Directly from YT site terms (user video submissions):

You retain all of your ownership rights in your User Submissions, but you are required to grant limited licence rights to YouTube and other Website users.

4.) The copyright could be for a number of reasons. But I think the main reason would be to help protect against others downloading the video file and passing it as their own.

5.) The terms of service, how I read state that you cannot use the videos on a commercial site with no other content apart from YT videos.

Which is why I mention in the user guide. It's a good idea to add your own unqiue content to your site as well as the videos. The plugin should be used to add value for your blog visitors along side other content.

The main reason I created the plugin in the first place, it was for my personal use. My blog I refer to on the sales page had a very high visitor bounce rate. I wanted something to keep visitors on my blog, this particular blog is very visual, so videos are great. It's more than halved my bonce rate since using the plugin, and as a side bonus also helped generate more visitors. I then released the plugin to the public, after I see how effective it was.

I love this plugin and would recommend it time and time again...

However a few days ago my WP-VideoTube plugin froze.
I just clicked "refresh" and it said, as usual, that "a new video is being added right now". Then I navigated away... and it stayed this way for days, without the video being added.

How do I recover from that ? And in the future, how do I avoid to cause the freezing ?

OK, I figured it out.
To avoid freezing the plugin, you should not ever navigate away from the "new video is added right now" page. just refresh a few minutes later, until you get the "published video" message.

To recover from the plugin being stuck in "adding video" mode, just delete the keyword that was in use, and add it back again.

Hi Tony

That shouldn't make a difference, I've added new a keyword before and navigated away without refreshing. The process of adding the keyword is done in the background and shouldn't require a refresh. The message is only for the users reference and to confirm once the page is refreshed it will update the status row.

It might be server specific, it's taking time to complete the process of adding a new keyword. On my servers it's instant. But some customers I've helped, their hosts/server takes some time to add the keyword.

I think it's down to the server resources, maybe it's limited per account which is causing the delay.

Simple question. Can I use this plugin to import videos for ad sense sites and or affiliate marketing purposes, such as CB or Amazon. etc sites and not have any issues with anyone?
Can the size of the video be re sized?
Can the videos be imported with out any extra text content added?

I've not had any problems using the videos for any site, nor has hundreds of users reported any issues when using on blogs with affiliate promotions etc.

Yes, the videos can be resized by editing on the settings page, and yes again on the text. Just remove the tag on the settings page.

Hey Neil, I bought WP Answers as well as WP video tube way back when you first offered it. Over the past year I've had several blogs that have just stopped posting with both plugins, I've tried everything to get them working again to no avail. I'm pretty sure I've never received any updates and the version I have is 1.3.2 on Answers and VideoTube is 1.3.3. Have there been any updates since these versions that I'm not aware of?

Thanks.

Me too! I've had the same problems as you. WP VideoTube works on some sites but stopped working on others.

I've just checked both plugins on wp 3.2.1 and they are working on my HostGator test account.

WP answers was updated to 1.3.3 to update the API key, Yahoo changed the authentication and the original key expired. So will only work with the updated api key.

To get that update please send a ticket to my help desk (support.faqhelpdesk.com) with your transaction ID or paypal email. A new pdf is included to explain how to update the key on old blogs, for new blogs the updated key will automatically be installed.

The WP VideoTube 1.3.3 is the current version.

======

One thing to point out if it stops working, it uses the wp-cron function. So to run any schedule it requires either visitors to the blog or the admin to login so it triggers the wp-cron on the day of the schedule. Both plugins use that function to run, and if it misses the schedule it will stop the plugins from working.

You could setup a normal cpanel cronjob to run the wp-cron.php file every day so it always runs the schedules.

When they are installed and then 'stop' working, missing a schedule is the most likely problem. Without taking a look or more details it's hard to help and why I include links to my help desk in the user guide pdf!

Steve, have you contacted me via the help desk before?

ticket number? or open a ticket including the details for one of your blogs that stopped working, so I can take a look please.

Hey Neal, yeah, I just searched my old emails and did find the email about the Yahoo API being down back in June 2010, but never did receive a notification about an update...

I've submitted a ticket to get the 1.3.3 link, thanks for coming back with the great info...appreciate the support.
