29th May 2012 - Version 2 Released!

This is a free update for existing customers - just re-download from the main download page to get the update.

• You can now password individual buttons or groups of buttons.
• Improvements made to playing of Youtube videos and opening of PDFs
• Transparent Buttons are now possible.
• If you set an overall registration code it loads the menu before asking for the code so its more of a tease.

10th May - Version 1.22 now available. Just re-download from the main download page to get the update.

This update resolves an issue that affected a small percentage of users where the background image would not show correctly.

It also features a fix for Youtube videos that on some lower resolution displays were appearing off the screen and also the full screen button wasn't working. To make this fix possible I have had to drop the lightbox style box and replace it with a more simple control but it makes the end result look better in my opinion and it works for everyone and every screen resolution.

8th May - Version 1.2 Now available. Just re-download from the main download page to get the update.

This features an internal browser that doesn't show the url address bar and has right click context menus disabled. This is ideal for showing web content without showing where it is. This may also be a good solution for those wanting to do S3 videos as you can open the internal browser (which you can control the open size of) and take them to a page that is streaming your video.

I have also fixed a couple of minor bugs.

The lim file contains some of the data needed for your menu. You need to distribute both the exe and the lim file together.

I will check the video full screen out and get back to you. Its been fairly extensively tested but things often slip through, but I'll address any bugs and will be adding some extra features over the next few weeks - and all updates are free.

Didn't try full screen with examples (some issues referred in post #20) but would say that video don't pop-up centered on the screen and the player size should be bigger by default .
Is there chance to fix this ?

You specify the player size yourself in the software. I tend to keep mine to suit the embed size Youtube specifies so they don't end up out of proportion or looking too grainy.

Dam it Andy - I have spent way too much money on wso's this month and only a couple of hours ago I convinced myself.. NO MORE!

then along you come with this Superb Software and "here I go again" I didn't read the copy.. just started the video.. Huge mistake..or not, depending on how you look at it.

I only got a couple of mins in and.. went back to the forum and clicked on payment button.

This installed without incident and I can see a weekend without sleep ahead.. lucky for me we have a bank holiday on Monday lol.

I have been buying and PROFITING from Andy's products for well over a year.

iCurator is just another example of Andy taking a concept that is pretty simple and putting it on steroids for you to make profit.

That is optional. If you click on the button to set up registration you will see there is a tick box. It's actually off by default, if you want it you just tick that box and fill in the details.

The three points you raise:

1) Draggable buttons... this is something I really want to add and probably will in a future update.

2) Customizable buttons.. almost certain this is something I will be adding to this soon.

3) The best size for the background image is 640 x 480 which is what the working area is, but the program will resize and attempt to maintain aspect ratio which means if you use an 800 x 600 images for example - it will resize nicely and look spot on. If you use a 600 x 1000 image then its not going to look as good.

Initial Ideas I was thinking about....

- For an offline client as a Freebee or for a price.
Load it with solid marketing advice,
load it with instructions on how to update their website,
load it with pre-selling videos for your services,
load it with the clients different web properties for quick access (facebook, twitter, website, G+),
Load it with their top 10 Competitors and call it a Competitor Spy Software,
etc....

Just purchased and tried.

A couple of bugs to report - the exe output doesn't retain the image you set up in the program - defaults to the "meal on the plate" - same problem exists on the sample output.
Button number 2 doesn't show on output.

I hope these bugs get fixed - it will then be a very helpful program in so many ways.

P.S. Another bug - resizing the buttons doesn't "stick" on the output.

To be clear on some stuff though.....after you create your final product and export it, it will be in a .exe file format? That extension is only used for installing software correct?

So this is NOT a regular download that could be placed in a zip file, or even used on a web page? The buyer/user will have to treat the simple one page product as software and install it?

The way the software formats everything in one spot, I really like that. I guess I'm just picturing the awkwardness of a user wanting to watch a few videos but having to install software just to do that. Maybe I'm still unclear somewhere.

Thanks for further clarification on this, but the overall idea looks great!
