Hi Warriors, It's really been a while since I made a comment about a product on the forum. I have cut back on buying every course out there - but this one is one that I did buy, and I can recommend. First, the topic - making videos. It's difficult to do this well. I've had experience and certainly I've improved, but I wanted to learn some pro tips. I got in this course for under $10, and it does have a guarantee, so why not. Now, once inside -

1) the course is laid out exceptionally well,
2) and guess what - the videos are great. I would be really disappointed otherwise, since this very course is on making great videos.
3) the content is spot on. If you are going to be making videos, which you should be doing - this is a must have course.

There are OTO's and I'm still deciding on those. But the course - buy it only if you will take the time to go through it - but I can tell you, it's good, it's engaging, and you can actually get through it fairly quickly. Short videos, a lot of them, well organized. Bravo, great course.

Camtasia does come with a 30 day Free Trial, that's fully functional. This gives you plenty of time to create loads of videos that will make you the money to buy Camtasia, and once you've done that, then the course and Camtasia will be making you money!

Hi, bought this but have problem registering on members website. I entered the right transaction ID that i got from Paypal but i got an error of:

P/S: Solved. The Transaction ID on the email that was sent together with the login details. You should put it as "registration code" instead of "transaction ID" which makes me think that it was Paypal transaction ID.

This is a course that you will ACTUALLY USE to grow your business.

I've never heard of David before, but you can tell that he's not just doing this course to make himself money. He really wants this WSO to be of value to others. AND IT IS!

The scriptwriting portion alone is worth the price of this WSO and more.

It is well laid out. I hate courses that have 99 videos of 1 hour each. (Like really - I'm busy). This course has no fluff and the videos are short with the longest being a little over 20 minutes. The rest are 5 mins or less.

I'm almost done with all the videos and will be implementing this valuable WSO within the next hour!

The only downside is that the course goes over Camtasia and I'm a MAC girl. Luckily, the concepts transfer over so it's fine.

Love this WSO. Good buy because of the scriptwriting portion, the step by step nature, and little thoughtful insights that you may have not thought of.

I didn't see any OTOs. But his next course should be about copywriting;-).

I did buy this WSO. However I do agree with those who said that it is strange that a WSO that is all about producing videos is not presented in video format, or at least includes a good sample video. That in itself reduces the credibility factor. And the sample video that was posted later is really not a good example - someone reading basic text off the screen.

I bought it because of Peter Garety's good reputation and because it has a good money back guarantee (which I hopefully will not need). But I do need that peace of mind since the sales page is just not very convincing for me due to the lack of a video presentation.

I hope you will prove me wrong once I go through the course.

Great stuff and excellent quality videos and training material. Haven't had a chance to go through all the videos yet, of course not, there are video's on everything imaginable in there and especially with the OTO. I'm not an affiliate so there is not monetary reward for leaving comments.

Same question. Maybe I'm jaded, but unless you are a beginning beginner, these kinds of videos can hardly be called a "video". It's a report that was transferred to slides and read VERBATIM.

Personally, I find these kinds of videos irritating. I can read the report faster than watching the video (plus I then have the relevant points available to me for quick review if needed), and I can listen to an audio while I'm doing other things.

No disrespect meant, but hasn't this kind of course and product been done a lot already? It was hard to tell (even after reading the whole story) whether this is primarily targeted for the beginner or offers something for those who are more advanced.

Talking on the video is actually the easiest part of the whole process, which you have correctly identified as being simple.

The main work is done on the scriptwriting process to create the script that's engaging and will rank highly in Google. This is the where the real value is in the course.

If this course isn't for you, that's fine. We're not going to appeal to everyone.

The course isn't about creating fancy videos. It's about create Quick ScreenCast Videos that are effective and that work.

Thanks for your comment. As with BigDadda, if this style of video doesn't appeal to you, then it may not be for you.

The course is for from beginner to advanced who wants to create web videos on a quick basis, or even give it to their outsourcers to do for them. There is an aspect of the training that covers that. The more advanced the person is, the quicker they will get through it. For veterans, it may not be for them, but that's fine. It's not going to appeal to everyone.

Are there courses like this out there..? No, there isn't any courses that teach exactly what I'm delivering here. You can get similar courses that will show you how to do screencast video. You can get Web Video University, and the standard price there is $99, or $49 for the Budget training per month, or if you want to get the script writing aspect of the training too, you can always get Andy Jenkins' Video Boss for $1997.00 which is I have gone through and is great.

Yes, you get 2 sample scripts, and also a template you fill out to create your scripts.

You also have numerous checklist that give you the information that creates the script for you step by step, and also a number of Mindmaps giving you an overview of everything in the course.

This is on top of the indepth training that you get too.

So far, I've read 2 people who have viewed the video sample and said it is simply reading verbatim from a PowerPoint slide. That's not good. And I hope there is far more to this WSO "under the hood" (in the members' area) because I already have Kaminski's (I probably misspelled the gentleman's name) Screen Cast Secrets and Ron Naylor's screen cast products.

I am new to video and want to learn as much as I can from whoever can teach me tried-and-true methods. The previous products are very useful, engaging and professional. If you follow them, you get professional results. I'm looking forward to more of the same from this WSO.

I understand that for $10 you won't get what it costs for some of the high-end video products but I do expect value for my money.

There are others on here lauding the virtues of this product and that is what I based my purchase decision on. My problem is I'm at work and we're blocked from viewing any media so all videos come up blank for me.

I've already purchased so I will wait until I get home to have a look.

Simple doesn't have to mean "rudimentary" - it can be fast-and-simple but visually attractive and high-standard.

I personally hate it when people show a PowerPoint slide crowded with text on a boring background and then proceed to read ... word-for-word ... what the eye already sees.
Good video attracts attention, entertains and demonstrates or teaches something.

I don't want to ask for a refund sight unseen but I hope this WSO appeals to me or I will have to.

In answer to your "concern" about whether this is just speaking from PowerPoint Slides, this is much more than that.

There is a whole Script Writing process that the course goes into, as well as how to create and edit screencast videos too. The actual content of the videos is up to you, and if you don't want sales messages on there, then that's your decision.

The focus of the training is to to create videos that drive traffic to your site, or site that you want to promote. If you want the video to do something else, you can do so. The choice is yours.

You have 60 days to go through the training, and if you don't like it - even if it's because of my Irish accent - then feel free to ask for a refund. If you don't see the value in the course, even at the low price, then I'd be happy to refund you - no harm, no foul, and I'll even buy you a beer should we meet!

1) Where else can you get this much practical information for $10?

2) This is education - no one can take that away from you. Its not some wordpress plugin that if it turns out to be faulty you throw away. You keep the knowledge.

3) If you are already in the 1% - a video marketing guru, you can probably skip it. If you are like the rest of us in the 99% then its probably worth the massive investment.

4) I am always amazed that people will spend $10 on fast food in a blink of an eye, or an impulse buy at the store for something they don't need and that ends up in the trash, but that same person will talk themselves out of purchasing something that they can learn from and help them make more money for years to come!

Come on now Mark, I spent over $12!...all joking aside, I've heard that reasoning many, many times, "Hey, it's only $7 (or $10)..etc" $7 or $10 adds up my friend.

I have no problem refunding, even $7...that being said, I like this so course so far.

Making a video is simple, sure, but I have spent over a week trying to get a couple longer tutorial videos done, and haven't succeeded yet.

Yep, I know alot of what this course shows you already...but, I haven't necessarily applied it...so, it's worth the $12 to me, even if it just gets me to do what I knew I should have done already...taking the time to write out a script, etc

Videos are simple to make, but that's if you do it right....so, thanks for getting me to spend more time on writing my scripts, and that sort of thing--something I knew already, but haven't spent the time necessary to do it.

I bought the course for myself from SimpleSpencer's recommendation, and also on the basis of support Peter, who is an extremely good marketer with superb products and support.

The course is laid out exceptionally well, in a friendly and comprehensive step-by-step format that will follow anyone to follow with no problems. Just the script writing teaching alone, is worth the admission price. In case anyone is wondering I paid more than $13 (since it's on a dimesale) but this is worth much more than the money I paid for.

There could be a glitch that is not showing the buy button explicitly but you can find something that looks like a "broken image", just move your mouse over and you can click on the button which will take you to the payment page.
