Is there any way to do that or would I be better off setting it up as a separate site and linking to it.

i think you can put iframe on home page, so they can show perfectly without editing many php code from the theme..
the setting theme only need less than 10 minutes if you do full restore of my demo site ( will get 1700 movie archive with more than 15k quality comments as additional benefit )

you can choose from imdb, and copy the movie links like

yes you can, after you setup a cron job from your cpanel, so the script will take new opening movies, based on IMDB.com

We don't give download link for movies, that button is banner we recommend you use movie CPA or something like this on clickbank.. this will make more profit for you.

You don't need to host ANY movies.. as this site is just to provide MOVIE information (like IMDB) connected with your affiliate link to access the movies... this could be using CPA affiliate program or clickbank program like paid movie membership.

I saw the movie script is great especially at this price.But having a site that look like the same with many others will be a problem for me.Can I change the background,layout,logo etc? you can change the logo just replace the logo.png with your new logo.
unfortunally this theme can't the background color, but we are available on 2 colors
