The sales graphic says PLR rights and the WSO headline says RR.

I'm confused - please clarify.

So you purchased the rights not to just resell them yourself but also for the people you sell them to, to be able to resell them also?

There's a BIG distinction between those two so just want to be absolutely clear.

Oops, I'm sorry ...I was hoping that you'd tell us more about when you said, "I saw that you were selling at least some of these infographics illegally, ..."

Was that mentioned somewhere in this thread, that I might have missed? I get nervous about posting pics, etc. and am sure there are other folks, too. Did you Google filenames or see some of the graphics posted somewhere already that might have caused you to suspect they have some sort of rights attached?

Well, the seller did contact me by PM and told me he considered my comment to be slanderous, but I don't think so.

By illegal, I meant that some of the infographics were familiar to me, they came from a PLR site that I'm a member of, and the original rights to those graphics, from the person who created them, stated that they could not have PLR transferred to others, only personal use rights.

I checked with that person to confirm that before posting here, and before requesting my refund, which I still haven't received.

So by illegal, I meant that the rights that this seller was transferring to others weren't legal rights. Buyers could have gotten into trouble by further transferring them to others, if the original seller wanted to press things (he's a nice guy, so I doubt he would, but still... ).

Geez, sorry. This whole PLR, MRR, MBR, PBR, RR ...nebulous "rights" thing just gets so tangled up. No doubt Peter thought he was free and clear. It's almost like having to go through the "Title Insurance" thing when you're buying a house, or property, if you didn't put pen to blank paper (or mouse to blank template) yourself to create the entity in question.

I agree, it gets very complicated. But what isn't so complicated is this WSO rule that Allen established many years ago:

2. All WSO's Must Be Something You Created. A Product Of Your Own. (A package of ebooks someone threw together is not considered a product and will be deleted) This is completely self explanatory and not up for debate. If you yourself did not create the product do not post it here.

and if the seller created this package, he can give whatever rights he wants, but he didn't, and that's why not he ran into trouble this time.

The infographics being sold in the pin interest board were said to have resell capabilities but I don't see how I can re brand the infographics with other company logos all over them.

Please settle this issue for me.
