Thanks! I'm glad you like them. The layout of these themes was based on a format that Amber (my wife) has been using for lead generation websites and yes, we agree that the full width slider is not the most practical for conversions, so we arrived at this layout and are quite happy with it. They are very functional.

Yes, you can add text both above and below the featured boxes. Those spaces are controlled by "Featured Areas" which can be stacked and mixed up any way you'd like. You can add text, html, images, video - anything you want. It's flexible.

Hi Larry - There is no separate mobile component to these, we debated offering a mobile ready version but figured that since a lot of people have other solutions for mobile which they are already comfortable with that we shouldn't reinvent the wheel and instead keep it simple. That said, even without a separate mobile version they do look good on smartphones. If there is enough demand for mobile versions we can make it happen.
