That's strange, I'm not sure why it didn't work properly. I just tested it again and it seems to download fine for me...I used WinRAR to create and open, not sure if that matters.

At any rate, I have sent you a PM with the individual download links. Those should work for you, but if they don't then please let me know.

If anyone else has trouble downloading the ZIP archive, I'll tweak the download file accordingly.

Thanks Ashly! I got your PM and all of the files.... The RAR files were the issue. I can only handle zip files on my machine.

I have only had a short period to review you report but it looks very promising. The list of resources is phenomenal (sp?)!! I really appreciate the great deal! YOu could have asked for more...

Thanks for your kind words. The list of resources is my personal collection which I spent several months building on my own journey through the self-publishing process. It's been fun and I've managed to discover some real gems! I am glad you are enjoying it so far and thank you again!

I suppose when I used "unrestricted," I meant you are pretty much free to use it in any way that you'd like, as long as you don't claim original copyright. Other than that, use it in any way you see fit.

While the guide doesn't come with a template, how about I just give you the one I personally use for free. You can download it here. Only downside is that it IS in HTML (that turns some people off, but it really shouldn't).

All you have to be able to do is stick your paragraphs between <p></p> paragraph tags like those.

The HUGE benefit of using an HTML template is that you don't have to worry about the file conversion when you upload to Kindle AT ALL. Using the HTML in this template is 100% bulletproof, and saves you tons of time with formatting and conversion headaches.
