| UPDATE - Version 2.0 is now ready on the download page.. NOTE: Updating the download page may have expired your download URL prematurely - if you already bought. If you need a new link please paste a copy of your digital receipt into a help ticket at Central Support Helpdesk Version 2.0 Includes the folowing updates: 1. option to add up to 6 extra content pages (instead of 3) 2. choose the font type of text you add 3. preview of the completed site upon saving 4. options for making your own custom icons You can continue to use v1.0 if you don't need/want the extra features. ================================================== ===== ================================================== ===== FAQ Q. Can we add more than 3 extra content pages? A. Currently, the software allows for adding 3 extra content pages. However, a software update is forthcoming (within a week) and will facilitate the addition of 6 extra content pages. UPDATE - V2.0 allows for an 6 extra pages of content. ================================================== ===== Q. Can we use HTML tags to style the text in the content pages? A. Yes, I've listed below, the HTML tags I have tested to work.. Also, once you've generated the site, you can use a WYSIWYG HTML editor, like Frontpage, Dreamweaver, Nvu etc.. to edit the content of the content pages, before uploading. You just want to be careful not to go crazy with effects that will not render properly in mobile browsers. Here is the list of HTML tags that I've tested to work, so far, when entered into the software while creating the content pages... Line break = < br > Bold = < h4 > Underline = < u > Paragraph = < p > < p align="left" > < p align="center" > NOTE: I've left spaces in the tags above so they don't get processed here.. the only space you should have in tags when you actually use them is the space between the "p" and "align" in the paragraph tags. ================================================== ===== Q. My anti-virus program gives me a warning of suspicious activity/possible threat.. WTF? A. The software contains a link to my marketplace site and your anti-virus program may be set to be suspicious of any new executable program it doesn't recognise, that connects to the internet. Your anti-virus program is not smart enough to recognise what is not a real threat and what is an actual threat. It can only check for certain characteristics that are common in malicious programs. That's how it works. First make sure that your anti-virus program is set to simply "warn" you of possible threats (rather than let it take action automatically).. so YOU can decide when you trust the source of software you install.. and not let your anti-virus software "guess" what should be trusted and take action without your approval. Then when it pops the warning, you can add the software to the "exceptions" list (allowed programs/whitelist). If your anti-virus program is not sophisticated enough to allow exceptions.. you need a better anti-virus program. ================================================== ===== |

Looked at demos and the logo and icons are a bit fuzzy, can image(s) be resized for better clarity?

Can you please put direct links to the demo sites into the OP as I'm viewing this from a mobile device and you've only provided links to the simulator...

You can muck around with the images all you want.. however, the sites & images get resized to accomidate different browser sizes.. if the viewing browser is a lot larger than a standard mobile phone browser size.. the images will distort, the larger it is. Mark. |

Looks like a nice collection of niches. I need one for a plumber right now but I grabbed this deal as it's great value for the money. And one sale will pay for this a few times over so it is a no-brainer to get this today.

Hi Mark, So if we wanted to use our mobile optimized result (html) on a wordpress blog, can you just upload it through the cpanel in a sub folder to make it work for a wp site or does it work another way? thanks, Cheree |

Hi Cheree, If your normal site is a WP site.. what you'd do is use the supplied PHP redirect script to redirect mobile browsers to the mobile site. You upload the mobile website (software output) to your webhost via FTP (video instructions provided) into its own sub-directory or sub-domain.. it will be, essentially.. a stand alone, static HTML site.. but, its sole purpose is to be a mobile optimised version of your normal site. Mark. |

DAMMMMMN!!!" Looks really great and I purchased after about 10 seconds of landing on the page. Quick question if I may? On the pub demo which I really really like, the menu page was static, I couldn't see it larger. You know when you can pinch and zoom? It was just hard to see it clearly. I am excited to be able to create sites like this. Great price so thanks for making it affordable. Looking forward to doing something with this even tonight which is totally doable. Cheers Brian |

Hi Brian, That particular menu is an image.. and the content page is actually intended for text.. so, images on the content page are not re-sized.. that particular image would probably be too distorted to read, if it were enlarged anyway. Thank you for your order, Mark. Quote:

Nice. Bought it. Looks easy enough. Mobile websites should be in HTML5 if at all possible. WP plugins and the script its self are slower to load. PPL on phones want fast info. Even WP Tough is not all that great. Lots of the feel of the site is lost. For under $6.. I mean that's the cost of a large Latte.. I can make a lot out of it. Mobile sites are in demand right now. I still would not charge less than $500 tho, but that's me. Just because I can make it a lot cheaper than I could last year, does not mean I am worth less as a consultant. ![]() I hope that once I get in there, I am able to use my own images for headers and icons. |

Hi Brian, Good question.. I know that basic HTML works.. for instance line break tags < br > .. I noticed that some code errors.. like when pasting stuff copied directly from a Wordpress site's copy.. I haven't tested beyond that yet.. I would suggest pasting anything copied from a Wordpress site into a notepad.txt first.. then copy & paste into the software from notepad.. adding the line break tags does work.. I'll be testing further a little later today. Mark. |

Hi Calvin, Thank you for the suggestions.. just an FYI.. the "resources.txt" file in the download package does list a colour picker software that you can download free and.. the instruction video, as well as the notes in the software interface, provides the URL of a free online latitude-logitude generator. Here they are here, as well.. Free HTML Colour Picker: http://www.allgraphicstools.com Get the geographical latitude and logitude of your physical address free http://GetLatLon.com Thank you for your order, Mark. Quote:

Do you have a video to show us a preview and how it works ? You can't Embed the video on a page to keep the visitors in the mobile site ? Can i use it on 2 computers ? Actually on a Laptop and Bootcamp on my iMac ... or is locked to 1 computer ? I just purchased it to give it a test... |

That's what i was about to ask too.. I've just tested it by making a quick site... Is very simple.. but, i want to add more pages.. Maybe you can make a quick update to allow us to add 6 pages instead of 3.. that will be enough.. This way we will add 2 or 3 pages + links to Facebook, Twitter, Youtube & Main Site ) and it will show 12 icons instead of 9... And allow us to add a link in the footer.. We can modify the html of the index and make a few extra pages.. but, the point of this software is to make this things easier... Right ? Also, i assume we can add any html tags, not just < br > , right ? By making it to allow us to add more pages + custom icons + custom Footer, it will be perfect.. And another must : Save Project - to be able to edit it later directly in the software.. |

The software currently allows for the creation of 3 content pages.. which is, generally speaking, more than I would think is needed for a mobile site whose purpose is to compell the visitor to take some sort of desired action. I can appreciate that some users may want to be able to add more content pages so, I'll add that to the list of updates for the next version. Mark. Quote:

I have tested a few common HTML tags and they do work as they should, with the exception of the bold tag .. < b > .. it tends to shrink the text when using it to bold the text (it may just be a CSS style issue that can be changed to make the normal bold tag work properly).. however.. using < h4 > instead of < b > works to bold the text without changing the text size. Also, the "Save Project" feature is built into the software, so you can make edits to sites you already made, without having to start over. Mark. Quote:

Thanks for the answer ( i'm also a programmer so i know my way around HTMl & PHP )I have purchased it and tested it, is nice, saves a lot of time... but it will save even more time if we can add more Content Pages ( 6 instead of 3 ) so we can add more links & info... When do you think you'll come up with a new update to allow us, at least this ( more pages ) ? I'll just keep it in my tools until then... and read my other sugestions - Save Project, Custom Icons... Sincerely, Stefan V Quote:

Hi James, Whether or not you "need" something is relative. WPMobiBiz is a WP Theme for creating mobile sites within Wordpress. This product creates Static HTML mobile sites outside of Wordpress. The two solutions each make Mobile sites for different platforms and.. the sites they make are completely different looking. I made this software so I can make a more "pretty", different style of site than what I can make with WPMobiBiz.. it's nice to be able to offer clients different options.. and some clients just don't want their sites based upon Wordpress. Only you can determine if you need this or not. Mark. |

Hi Just bought and did a quick run through. It looks handy, but I'd like to suggest a few things too (or echo others suggestions) 1. Preview site feature (I'm a visual person so working through a wizard like this I'd want to check that everything was working properly and looked good before going through the ftp process.) 2. Custom icons 3. Font picker of some sort. 4. More pages I know you said you would add the ability for more pages, any chance of the other points? |

1. Preview feature is on the list of updates.. however, you can open and view the pages of the site with your browser once you've saved it to your computer. 2. There is a blank icon "button.png" (the white one) that you can open in Paint.net, Photoshop, Gimp etc and edit it. You'll find it in the images folder of the site once you create and save it to a folder on your computer. After you've edited the icon save it with a new name (so the original is still available to make more) You can then re-open the saved project and choose the new icon, if you chose a different one when you initially created the site. I will look into adding more extra icons and possibly, a more feature rich icon creation ability.. 3. I didn't make the font changable on purpose because, Arial is the easiest to read and I figured that it would be especially important to keep the text in that style since the display on a mobile phone is so small and tough enough to read already.. however, I'll add it to the list.. even though I don't suggest changing it. 4. More pages is on the list. Thank you for your order, Mark. Quote:

Re the icons - it would be great to add a "upload icon" option like you have the upload logo etc. That way we can use our own as we go rather than double handling. Also if we have an icon that doesn't need the words underneath to leave that out and JUST have the image. | |

Hi Mark, I bought your WSO, downloaded it, installed it on my computer and created a mobile web site within minutes by just filling in the blanks. The software is so easy to install and use I did not even need the tutorials but it's always good to have them as a reference. HP PS: This is a excerpt of the review that went to my subscribers: Overall rating: This is a very good WSO. You are going to get an easy to install software application that creates mobile optimized web sites based on a few simple inputs. The package also includes a video tutorial and redirect scripts also with instruction videos. |

Mark, I have your Mobile Squeeze Machine and a couple of other products from you and am very satisfied with them. You put out great stuff. I'd like this one as well but is it possible to let people easily read my blog posts from this product when Mobile Squeeze Machine is in place or will this conflict with Mobile Squeeze Machine? If this product can be used to redirect people to my blog for reading on their smartphones, will it also reformat the actual post for easy reading on their phones or, if not, do you have a product that will allow for my blog posts to be reformatted for easy reading on mobile phones? |

I can't remove something that isn't there.. if your anti-virus program detects a possible threat.. it is telling you that it has detected something that "looks" like it "might" contain "characteristics" that malicious programs it is programmed to detect contain.. and you have to decide whether or not you trust the source of software you are downloading. Your anti-virus program is not smart enough to be able recognise what is not a real threat and what is an actual threat. It can only check for certain characteristics that are common in malicious programs. That's how it works. Mark. |
