Great job Dave! You never fail to impress me with your plugins. I have not put this one through all the loops yet, but so far solid as can be. Once I get some other projects completed going to dig in deep ![]() Will this plugin be working with the Paypal adaptive payments? Or would be best to use something like JV Zoo and interface that way? Thanks Dave / Stan and again, great job man! Terry |

Hi Terry, Thanks for the good words! May I reply in behalf of Dave?! He is working on the video guides. Paypal adaptive payments is integrated in the plugin. So it is up to you how to organize your launches - alone on your site or using 3rd party affiliate system. You see we chose JVZoo for our launch because of the affiliates and the JVs. It all depends on your plans. Quote:

Great features. My question is about scalability. Has the plug in been tested for scalability? Is there any practical limit to the number of members you can have or the number of drip feeds you can have on a membership site before the performance starts to suffer? For example, could I have several thousand members signed up with a daily scheduled drip feed for, say 5 years worth of content? Would the responsiveness for both the administrator and the members still be robust in that situation?

What exactly can I do with the light version? How many sites can I install on? Can I both have content for members to read and for members to buy with the light ver? Thanks in advance. |

Of course! By the way, great job on your part also ![]() Ok, guess I missed the adaptive payments setup. Just watched the video and Dave talked about seller getting paid first then affiliate based on commissions levels. Will wait until I have the time to dig in and also for the videos to be completed. Never the less, cannot recommend you guys enough to those needing a great membership plugin. Quote:

I'm still trying to decide which AR service to sign up for and want to buy this WSO as well. Does it integrate with GetResponse (I don't want Aweber, Imnicamial or Mail Chimp). And is the $47 price for unlimited domains that we own? Ina Edit: Please disregard my question #2; I went back to carefully read the WSO sales page. I see that it does integrate with GetResponse. Thank you. I will now order!!! Ina |

So could this be used for a monthly subscription which sends out a weekly news letter? if so, how would it be best set up for a weekly news letter? Post it on the site and send out email letting the subscribers know the new newsletter is out there or will it send the news letter out to all subscribers? Will it handle cancellations for no payment, can you set it to allow 2 attempts for paypal.... etc...? |

Thanks Guys, Looking at the videos you have really put alot of time in compared to the old plugin and have stuck with the developing of the plugin and I respect that as wordpress gets updated things become outdated pretty fast and cause conflicts. What a result being upgraded and thanks for your dedication and respect to previous buyers. Cheers Albert F A Matthews |

Yes, you can use it for a monthly subscription. You can send the newsletters, using the built-in broadcast functionality. In the broadcaster you select the product(s) (or membership level(s)) and this way you can send different newsletters to different membership levels if you have more than one. Cancelations will allow 2 attempts at paypal. The user will lose access if there is no payment made within 1 day after the date the payment is due. But he will get access back if a payment is made later. Quote:

Thanks Albert! And... Sorry! I had some personal problems and that's why there wasn't an update for WPBN for a long time. Dave (with my agreement) tried to find another developer to continue the development, but without muck luck. So I'm back on stage now and we will keep the new plugin updated. After this WSO we are planning to keep this product as one of our major products in our portfolio and we will continue to improve it. Quote:

Hi Ina, The plugin integrates with any autoreponder service. You just enter the opt-in form code and it subscribes the members. It has special integration with Aweber and Mailchimp because they do not allow automatic subscription through opt-in forms. With Pro version you can install on all the domains you own.... no limit. Of course there is practical limit. But it all depends not just on the plugin, but also on the server, the WP theme you're usingm the other plugins installed, etc. So it is hard to say what is the limit. I don't know about the other users, but I think our maximum is about 2500 members. It is working fine without any noticeable delay. I try to optimize the code as much as possible. If you decide to use FastMember and at one point you see problems with the performence I can work with you to test and improve the plugin and/or remove functionalities that are not needed to speed it up. Unlimited domains. And yes, you can protect your content behind products/membrship purchase. Drip feed content is also supported in the lite version. |

Does this plugin support partial content protection? ie; protecting part of a post or page via shortcode for members only with the rest of the content visible to everyone? If so, does it support dripped partial content protection, meaning after a customer has been a member for a certain amount of time, the partially protected content is visible? Does it support shortcode protection by member level, partial or otherwise? Thanks. |

Yes, you can add partial drip content. There is a shortcode for that. And yes, you can hide part of the post/page for members only.... of course depending on the member level. You can have several parts on the same page each visible to different members, depending on which membership level they purchased. It also has something that we call "onpage OTO". With this shortcode you say something like this: if the member have purchased "product 1" and haven't purchased "product 2" then show him "any content" for "1 view" (# minutes, # hours, # days). Amd on the end we have content chunks which you can insert on the page/post with a condition using logical structures like this (little advanced): ({1} OR {2}) AND (NOT ({3} OR {4})) With this condition the content will be displayed if the member have purchased product 1 or 2 and haven't purchased 3 and 4. Any condition like this will be renderd no matter how complex it is. The numbers used in this code are the product (membership levels) IDs. There is a builder for this condition that you can use to visually pick the products by title (you don't need to know the IDs of all the products). Quote:

That's correct! You need to keep the domains listed in the license code generator in our members area. And you just copy the license code generated there and paste it in on the plugin setting page. Dave is working on a video to explain the process, but generally that's all. |

Is it compatible with solutions when the protected content files (huge videos etc.) are stored outside of the WP installation on another server - e.g. on Amazon S3?

S3 service is integrated in the plugin, but for remote hosting of downloadable files. To enable this feature you just need to enter your S3 authorization details (access key id and secret access key) in the plugin ettings. It is not integrated for embeded videos or other media files... just for downloadables. |

Thanks for the quick reply. Will the affiliate system work on any membership for a domain? ie; I have 7 membership sites, but I deliver the member areas on a central admin domain in different folders with different WP installs. Is there a way to make affiliates of one membership affiliates of all the memberships? I'm also wondering about the S3 protection for videos and files. *Edit: just saw your answer above for S3. Does that mean auto generated links (expiring) for downloads, but no streaming video option? Thanks. |

Sorry, no way to manage affiliates on one installation only and link them with all the other installations. Affiliates are not grouped by domain. They are registered in the WP database. You're correct about S3 - it will create expiring download links, no streaming option. I will add support for S3-hosted media files in the next update. Dave just told me he need similar feature for our videos. :-) Quote:

1. We will add more payment gateways, starting with the most requestes. Which one you particularly interested in? No any special support for offline payment, but you can manually add members in the admin area. So for example they can join for free and then you upgrade them after you confirm the payment. 2. Yes, very similar to WPro. You can embed buttons and copies-left image on the pages/posts and on other sites. |

Okay almost there. Can members be automatic affiliates? Can non members be affiliates? Different commissions for different affiliates? Max commission amount? (% or flat) Manual credit for affiliates? (offline) Drip any file type? (PDF, FLV, mp4, mp3, etc.) Secure RSS feeds? Support for different buy button images? Support for PayPal standard and PayPal Payments Pro? Integration with clickbank 1 click upsells? HTML email capable? I think you may have covered some of these but I need specific answers. Thanks again. |

Can members be automatic affiliates? Yes, all members are affiliates too. Can non members be affiliates? Yes. There is a shortcode for a registration form that can be used by affiliates to join the site without purchasing products. Different commissions for different affiliates? Yes. There is a commission setup for each product, but you can also change the commission for particular affiliates. Max commission amount? (% or flat) It is always % (no flat amount option) and no max. Whatever you enter is accepted, but you better do not try with numbers above 100. :-) Manual credit for affiliates? (offline) No. Drip any file type? (PDF, FLV, mp4, mp3, etc.) Yes. You can protect files (self-hosted and remote) and setup drip day for each file. Secure RSS feeds? Not sure about that?! What do you mean? Support for different buy button images? Yes. There are also some images we have included in the plugin. You can preview them here: http://fastmember.com/buttons/ Support for PayPal standard and PayPal Payments Pro? Standart only... for now. Integration with clickbank 1 click upsells? No. HTML email capable? Yes. For the broadcasting and the autoresponder messages you're using the WP built-in editor. For the welcome emails it is just a text field, but html tags are accepted. Quote:

Thanks for the quick reply. Secure RSS feeds means that non members cannot read the RSS feed that the members content is on (if any). So members can get content via RSS but non members can't. |

Okay; I'm in! Thank you. I can't wait for the rest of the content to be added. For a moment, I thought there was an issue with my computer loading the videos but remember reading another post asking (and your answering) about the content-to-be added. One last thing: I did not particularly care for the look of the theme you use in the demo Quick-Start video. I did not like the way all the pages created were jumbled across the navigational menu. If I choose to use a theme like Optimize Press or ProfitsTheme, will the same thing happen? Or does the design of the theme determine how the nav menu will appear? Thanks again ... Ina |

Hi Ina, The menu looked that ugly because no particular fomratting was applied. This video just demonstrates how you can create the basic structure of your membership site in a minute. After you run the wizard you still need to add your content to the pages, configure the menus, etc. Optimize Press and Profits Theme are very flxible and of course you can configure the menu. Our site fastmember.com is built with OptimizePress and FastMember. You can see it is not that ugly like the one in the demo video. :-) Quote:

I have literally hundreds of plugins - almost as many plugins as PLR files ![]() But there is a handful of plugins that I ALWAYS install in EVERY wordpress I set up. It doesn't matter what niche or what specific function the new site has. Top of that list - beside the other core plugins (All in One SEO, BPC, Login Lockdown etc) is WPBuyNow - now renamed to Fast Member and supercharged. I've trusted this plugin to collect cash for me - over and over again and its never let me down - now thats trust! ![]() Its also hyper cool that, having bought WP Buy Now, last year - I got an instant and unasked for upgrade to Fast Member - that shows a commitment to doing the right thing by their customers rather than trying to squeeze out every dollar. In the early days with this plugin I had some support questions - they answered my questions quickly and completely. So - if you have any questions about the product - I think its one of the best plugins I've bought. If you have questions about support - they supported me quickly and with professionalism and if you have a question about the people behind the product - they upgraded me for free. Can't say fairer than that. NOTE: As this is a glowing testimonial I'd like to make three points: 1) I get nothing for writing any of the above - I wrote it 'cos its true 2) I am not related to either of the nice gentlemen who created this awesome plugin and 3) No puppies where harmed in the making of this non-video... Any questions - just ask. Andrew |

I know you've already stated that streaming S3 videos presently is not supported but will be supported in the next update. Two questions: First, roughly how far off is that next update - days? weeks? months? Second, if we buy a separate WP video player plug in that supports S3 video streaming can we just use that on a dripped page that protected by your membership plug in?

Great looking plugin and your developer package is hard to beat! Couple of questions: 1. Can you set up limited pay membership, say 6 payments of $49.75 instead of 1 payment of $297, and grant continuing access to product after payments stop? This would be a scheduled stopped leaving access to all hidden content. 2. Can you have a continous payment membership with new content added every month, and have the member keep access to all content up until the last due date that they didn't pay, but no new content? Say they are paying by PayPal and the card expired in May so June's payment doesn't go thru, can they maintain access to membership data up till the end of May, but not June or there after. 3. Does your auto responder have built in throttling for sending out the list? Wouldn't want to get my hosting company upset by flooding their system. Looking forward to adding this to some client sites where access to past information is important regardless of how membership ended. Thanks again, Michael |

Maybe it will take about a week or two for the next update. It all depends on what we will decide to work on with Dave. And of course it depends on the requests from you, the clients. That's why your feedback, questions and requests are much appreciated. You can use any video player you like on the dripped pages... no limit for that. You edit the page just like any other WP page. The plugin just allows the access to the page on the drip day specified. Quote:

Hi Michael, 1. Actually this feature was on top of my to-do list, but I had no time to implement it before the launch. So this will be included in the next update. Similar to that i will add a feature for discounts on quantity. For example you can set one price if a membership is paid month by month and another price with discount if it is paid for 3, 6 or 12 months. 2. No. After the payment fails the membership is canceled and they can not access the protected content. 3. The autoresponder has throttling built in. In the plugin settings you enter the maximum number of emails to be sent per hour. It depends on your hosting plan. I think most shared hosting plans allow 400 emails per hour. Registration/welcome emails dosen't go through the throttling, because they need to be delivered asap to provide the login details for the new members. Quote:

Really great! Any chance to get a .po file or something likewise for other languages like German? At least for the parts members will see? Backend/Admin in English would be totally fine. Or would this be handled by a theme? Thanks. |
