I received a review copy of Fast Member.

After installing it and using it to set up a fully functioning membership site I have the following points.

The features fast members comes with at such a low price point are amazing.

You will not find a system anywhere else that rivals this in features and price, I dare you to look.

It's just so simple, straight forward and best of all, it does what it states it will do. Which in this day and age is difficult to say about anything.

Get this before it jumps to full price.

Is there the ability to see a sales record in the admin area?

Example, someone purchases through the site and goes to Paypal for
transaction completion, that data becomes part of a sales record in the
WP admin area. A person can see the date of sale, name, amount,
product, etc. An overview of sales.

I have been using the early version of this plugin to run a couple of membership sites, one of them is for my WSOs, and the integration with W+ and the AR works without fail. Using the shortcodes you can easily customize the site to be just the way you want it.

It really does have everything you need to run a successful membership site!

Actually it is based on WPBuyNow, the plugin we released last year.
But we have improved it a lot and added lot new features - broadcasting, autoresponders, mailing with throttling or using external service (send grid), coupons, quick setup wizard, content chunks with conditional embedding, JV systems integration (CB, JVZoo, DigiResult, WPro), Amazon S3 integrated for remote file hosting and more...

The quick setup wizard is something everybody needed. We found all our clients find difficulties with the setup... with all the need pages, the proper shortcode insertion, affiliate system setup, product creation, etc.
Now it is very quick and easy to setup everything and the wizard creates a to-do list with guides on what you can do further.

The wizard creates the content pages and protects them behind the mebership/product. It generates a to-do list with links to edit these pages.
Then you add your content... videos, files for download, help guides, etc.

You can use it to setup a membership site or for a delivery site for products you list for selling on WF, DigiResult, ClickBank, JVZoo.

I'm not sure Dave will cover content creation in the videos if this is what you're asking for?!
He is working on video guides on the techincal part of using the plugin.

I have WPBuynow with unlimited license. It's great plugin, but there no update since last year.
As a customer of WPBuynow, should I purchase it ? or get it free as update from WPBuynow. I don't want purchase two plugin with same features twice.

FastMember is compatible with WPBuyNow so you will be able to upgrade your existing installations if you have ones.

Thanks for the questions. I will use the same numbers to answer them:
1. This works with OptimizePress and will drip pages properly. We are actually using the same configuration (OptimizePress+FastMember) on the plugin site fastmember.com.

2. They get the opt-in email where they need to click the confirmation link.
The integration with aweber is using the email gateway. The plugin send an email with the subscriber's details to the list email (listname@aweber.com)

3. It has IPN integration with all the 3rd party services - ClickBank, DigiResults, JVZoo, WPro, PayPal, AlertPay/Payza, SolidTrustPay.

Yes, it allows subscription payments and it will cancel the membership if the membership fee is not paid.

Yes, they can purchase more than one product/membership with the same account.
You can use onpage OTO shortcode and conditinal content chunks to offer upgrade offers.

There is no integration with CPanel of any kind.

1) Yes, FastMember includes all the functionality of WPBuyNow + bug fixes and further improvements. FastMember was created based on the feedback of WPBuyNow users. At first we were planing to release FastMember as a new version of WPBuyNow, but later we decided to use a new name and branding.

2) Yes, you can import members using a CSV file.

Looking to do develop a membership site for a non-profit. They currently use Constant Contact as their email service. Do you have any experience with Constant Contact using this product? Also, how many payment services, including PayPal, can one use with your product?

The payment processors now supported are PayPal, AlertPay, SolidTrustPay.

As I read the comments and the sales page, this seems almost to good to be true - especially for the price! Would love to read more referrals from those that have used this in practice - users of the previous version, WPBuyNow examples would be helpful too.

You can put multiple buy buttons for different products on the same page.
You can even track stats for multiple buttons for the same product. For example put one button early on the page and one at the end and then the stats will show which button was clicked to make a sale.

I maybe little biased as a developer but I can say we are using the plugin for all our products and we love it. We (with Dave) used in about 5-6 launches.
While using the plugin we found it is time consuming to setup all the pages... you go create products, then pages with shortcodes inserted properly, then protected content and so on. So we needed something more quick... first I thought about project-based setup with xml export and import... For example you do all these steps once and then export them as an XML file to use for future launches/sites. But it was not very convenient, becasue there are too many variables in similar setup. After some brainstorming with Dave we decided a quick setup wizard will be the perfect solution. So this is how we came up with the idea for the wizard.

It is not easy to make a detailed comparison with the other membership plugins/scripts.
